Was expecting the work boot to be a little clunky/heavy based off the pictures and was subsequently worried about how my feet would feel at the end of the day. Turned out that the boot was extremely light and I think that's due in part to the carbon fiber toe. First day breaking them in I was working a 12 hour shift on two hours of sleep and they exceeded my expectations tremendously. Can't wait to see how long these boots will last, thus far after three days I'm very pleased with this purchase. Next year when Amazon promotes the Mind Your Step Program I will most likely be sorting the options by Keen boots.

I am so happy with these boots! They fit perfectly and were very comfortable right out of the box. I do appliance repair for work, so I crouch down and am on my knees a lot. The bellows system works great: they have all the give I need when crouching down. The carbon fiber toe is the best of both worlds: strong enough to drop a washer on them but light enough to forget they're there! And to cap it off, they're made in the USA, and that's all right in my book.

Wow these are much better than I expected. I am normally a size 12D in keen utility boots and all other keens, like braddocks and newports, but 12D was too big in the Mt Vernons and the Dover’s. So I decided to try a 11.5D and it’s perfect. Can’t wait for Zappos to get the new color keen Portland’s in all black/black, bcuz I will buy a second pair. Unfortunately one of the laces was unraveled/bushy and coming undone, so that was kind of weird, but no biggie. Still, these are the best work boots I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot.

This boot felt very comfortable, however, it has a rubber section across the middle of the foot. The shoe came with a sample of this material and I tested how strung it was. It can be cut with a sharp impact. For this reason I do not recommend this boot if you work with chainsaws/axes/etc. I’m exchanging for a full leather boot.

These word Christmas gift to my husband. He loved the flexible rubber portion of the shoe that allows him to crouch and walk easily without the shoe breaking uncomfortably at the bottom of his foot. There was no breaking in required! He wore them around all day on Christmas Day just to make sure that they were as comfortable as he thought they were. These were definitely a keeper and he's so happy to have a replacement for his old Keens.

A bunch of the guys at work have these shoes and swore by them. I bought them because of the high rating our team gave them. I have to say after a week I am so happy I got these. They are very comfortable and stylish.

This pair of boots replaced them same model size, etc. from just over a year ago. I am tough on boots, averaging 8-10,000 steps a day, Facilities Manager stuff. Put the new ones on, like living rooms for my feet. The old ones are still fine, just a bit stinky. I may buy another pair now for next year

I purchased these boots because I am an appliance technician and needed something that has a hard toe (check), that is rated (check) and that is comfortable (check). The bellows system is AWESOME! I can crouch down and the boots flex so easily. Furthermore, they were comfy out of the box and being made in the US is a definite plus. They are a bit pricy compared to the other offerings by Keen but in my opnion completely worth it. Ordering from Zappos of course is easy and ahipping is super fast. Thanks Zappos!

Great Light work boot

I bought this boot because it's practical and reviews called it comfortable. The toe is a bit bulbous which is odd because it feels a bit narrow compared to my similar sized other shoes. I think I really like them but need I need to put a few hours of use on them still.

These Keen Boots fit great. Ive had them for a little over a month and they are breaking in nicely. I'm on my feet for 10 hours a night, so I Needed a comfortable shoes. They fit true to size. The only neg I have is they are a little heavy but not too bad. So far Overall a great boot.

These shoes are heavy. Not surprising for safety shoes. I like the composite toe rather than steel. I saw a guy get his toes chopped off by a steel toe shoe when a pipe fell on it. I suppose he'd have lost the toes anyway but the steel bent. These fit exactly as the should. I am a 10.5 and these are perfect. I have a medium width foot and these are perfect in width. The arches are low but adequate. They are rather stiff to start but break in quickly. The flex toe is a very nice feature. They are expensive but they seem worth it. Given Keen's reputation I'll assume they'll give me many years of good service. Zappos is just stellar. Every time. Every purchase. No one should buy shoes anywhere else!!!!

Only had them a week but the flex toe is a nice feature for what we do. Overall they are fairly comfortable and light. Only had them a week but if the footbed compresses I can get an insert pretty easy. So far, very happy with the boots.

The fit of these was perfect. Materials seem high quality. They are comfortable right out of the box. I have a hard time with safety toe boots -- this is the first pair I've tried over the past 30 years that I consider to be actually comfortable instead of merely tolerable. There's plenty of room for my toes and my heels feel locked in. The footbed has a nice shape with good arch support and a good level of cushioning. The accordion type design of the uppers allows my feet to flex more naturally than other workboots.

These cut the back of my heel, and then when I returned them I was refunded less than half of what I paid for them.

Probably the best boot I have every owned. Very comfortable and durable.

Wearing them casually in life and not at work yet. Leave em tied loosely and just slip them on, no hassle. I’m usually size 12 non-safety toe DC and adidas sneakers and so far 11.5 Keen, Merrell, and Reebok safety-toe are all spot on.

Got these for work based on there reviews cannot complain day one in and the boots already feel pretty comfortable... normally id buy 11's in anything thats steel or composite toe but with the wide option in these a 10 1/2 felt great

No complaints. Probably the best safety shoe I have ever had right from the start. No break in for me, and my feet were hurting from the worn out boots that I had previously used. Feet feel much better now. Only down side is the price is higher.

Awesome! Fairly comfortable for long days. Kinda ugly green black. Don’t know about waterproofing.

I don’t love the greenish black color, but it is perfect for a women’s size 9. I have wide feet. The 7.5 medium width didn’t fit well. The 7.5 wide fit is amazing. Pretty comfortable out of the box, and I’m sure with breaking in it will be better. I hope it is good and waterproof but I don’t know yet. Composite toe doesn’t set off metal detectors.

Best pair of boots I’ve owned in years! Extremely durable.

These boots are very comfortable straight out of the box. I find them to be a little bit warmer than my usual boots which is nice during the cold time of year. I like the reinforcements where I get usual wear and tear on my boots. The lacing set-up is very convenient as well.
