I want to love these, but my feet slide forward in them. I could never wear these hiking for that reason.

I need more cushioning than these provide. I'd like to return them.

I loved my Teva Tirras, and I ordered the Hurricane Verge as it looked sturdier for hiking on rugged terrain. I was disappointed as they were uncomfortably heavy and the cross straps did not fit securely. I returned them and ordered the Terra Fi 5 Universal sandals, which were much better!
I was very happy with the smooth and rapid return processthanks, Teva!

Teva sandals are always comfortable. These soles and bottom of sandal are awesome for exploring around a campsite. I only give them 3 stars though, because the heel strap is lower than comfortable/familiar. and when I tighten the heel strap, my feet move forward in the sandal.

I had owned a pair of Hurricane XLT2 sandals for years and it was time for a new pair. I decided to try out the Hurricane Verge because I thought they were cute. They look great but they squished my toes, and my feet also seemed to slide forward in them making the squishing worse. To be fair, I have fairly wide feet and I only wore them around the house for an hour or so before I decided to exchange them for the tried and true Hurricane XLT2s. This is my second pair of those and they are the most comfortable sandals ever!

I bought these because they're all the rave in a Disney planning group I belong to and I want something comfortable for the next time we visit the parks. I loved that these were waterproof and the sole itself is comfortable... but the arch support isn't great and they're not as comfortable as I anticipated. My little toes feel squished into the side of the sandal straps even when I adjusted the shoe. For the lack of aesthetics I thought they'd at least be more comfortable.

I have two pairs of Tevas that I can wear all day and walk forever in. The footbed is an odd fit for my foot. I cannot wear chacos either and these feel like that.

looks and feels like I'm wearing post op shoes. Not an attractive look at all. Also, my toes hang off in the front but there is excess space in the heel. Disappointing.

Really cute and comfy but the fit is off! I'm usally a size 10 in Teva but these are all wrong. You guys should definitely think about half sizes next time.

The cross strap which holds all the tension anchors basically on your little toe, not the widest part of the ball of your foot. It's fine if it's looser and you're in solid ground but the moment you're dealing with any kind of terrain or wetness it's a nightmare. It's there in every photo I wish I'd seen it. :(

Not cute-ugly, just ugly — at least in beige. I have a very high arch and the velcro at the ankle barely connected. Shoes need more velcro, maybe skinnier, prettier straps. I do like the chunky base but also a bit unattractive color. I am oldand they still feel like old lady shoes.

Another company than no longer does half sizes and I have spent all my life as a half size. So I either get to wear shoes that are too small or too big. I love the footbed of this particular shoe--just the right amount of cushion versus support. But the deal breaker for me is probably going to be how tight they are across the front of my foot, where I have a bunion, if I tighten enough to provide stability. This causes the bunion, which normally doesn't hurt, to hurt. The shoe is lightweight and secure on the foot once the straps are adjusted. High score for making all three straps adjustable. For someone without bunions who fits a whole size correctly, this would be a great funky casual/active sandal. I'm sad to send them back. Not sure if I'll try the next size up because It will probably have the same bunion issue and be too long. Sigh.

I really wanted to like these but unfortunately, as in other reviews, the straps are scratchy. Another issue for me is that I have a wide toe box and my smallest toe was right against the strap and I just could not find a comfortable adjustment and believe me, I tried. The sole was comfortable although I would need a bit more arch support if I were going to wear them for extended periods of time.

These shoes don’t seem as sturdy or comfortable as many of my Teva’s. plus they just don’t work with my narrow feet. I thought with all the straps I could adjust to fit, but no. these will be returned.

Initially I had some issues with adjusting the straps properly. Because of the mechanics of the straps the show does push your foot foreword. This ends up giving me blisters on the bottom of my foot just below the ball of my foot. I find all of the added padding actually gives me more blisters. I also get a blister at the apex of the straps right by my outer ankle bone and more recently on my heel. I think the excess of the padding and the zero give in the straps hinders these shoes wearability a lot. I wouldn't wear them on longer than a couple mile hike at the most. They definitely feel great with socks on though, if that's your thing! I am also. TRUE W9 and I would definite try sizing down to see if that remedies any issues.

Very cute product. The heel strap is too low, it’s challenging to tighten the straps appropriately. I can’t wear these to hike. I will be going with the old school Tevas for hiking.

I was really excited to get these, but on the first pair I got the heel strap on the left shoe was almost two inches too long which made the fit super weird, so I exchanged them for another pair of the same shoe. The second pair seemed great for maybe two weeks, much better fit, super comfy, but then they started squeaking, so they're going back too. I'm planning to order a replacement pair because they have the potential to be a great shoe and I'm holding out hope. Teva's customer service was wonderful. I still support this company. Just seems like quality control on this style isn't up to par.

I was hoping for comfortable hiking sandals. I am a 9.5. I tried both a 9 and a 10 but neither felt comfortable enough for my feet. It is the first time I have NOT kept a Teva.

I had high expectations of this shoe. I have gait issues, fear of falling and this shoe was hard to walk in. It's built for hiking so that may have been my mistake. The ridges and ball of the foot is sturdy but I always felt uneasy. I got a lot of compliments on the shoe but it's not for ever say walking for sure. I love my other Tevas. This pair, I'll pass on.

The straps were to tight when adjusted, love love love the color! Bought the classic hurricane style in the same color.

I love the sole of the hurricanes, but these straps are not made well for wide feet. The very front strap doesn't have much give, so I had to squeeze it. They're so cute and comfy other than that strap.

...and they were so close! The soles are great, the lining on the inner straps is a lifesaver for bone spurs, and I love the buckle closure. And I love the monochromatic look in fun colors. Sadly, as others have reported, the fit is just off. Even with straps uncomfortably tight, there's no way to keep my foot from sliding forward and off the front edge of the sandal while walking. And that's just walking around my house. If you can fix the fit issues I'm guessing these will fly off the shelves.

Disappointed by the sizing. Liked the adjustablility of all of the straps but the sole was too pliant so not as supportive for my plantar prone feet right now. The Tierra is a firmer shoe but not quiet as plush as this style.
I'd also recommend:
Some Eccos and Merrell styles, Topo, Hoka, some Tevas, Wolky, some Keen styles
