These boots were very comfortable on the first wearing...wide enough for my fat feet and good cushioning for walking. They also did not seem hot even though my hike was on a hot day. A good purchase.

The boots are very well cushioned- to the point that they almost feel like winter boots. My feet are very warm in them. And it's April in Michigan, so not terrible but not at all desirable for July weather. So far so good with the comfort otherwise. I require a wide and these feel extra wide. I have tons of extra room. They are pretty nice looking from

They looked more gold/yellow in the picture I saw - they are a very nice earth-tone tan! I was pleased though;) I’ve only worn them once and have not been in a hike yet. That will be the true test for wearability. I have a high arch and slightly wide foot and these are comfortable so far! I returned three other hiking boots (2 were Columbia styles) and I would recommend the Redmond III for fit and style.

This are really comfortable. I’m an 8W and they fit great with my orthodox inserts as well as my thick hiking sock. I would say fits true to size. I like that it’s water proof. The brown is great because when we hike and camp they will become brown with dirt anyhow. The blue pop is fun. Great purchase! Love Columbia for hiking boots.

The fit is perfect! The wide width gives me that extra room, where my foot is comfortable. They’re light for a boot and not bad looking. ??

I usually wear a 9, but I order a 9.5 for hiking boots for extra room. My toe went right to the top of these! Felt more like a 8.5. These will be returned. They had Good width. The canvas top of shoe makes a crunching noise when walking. Not an attractive boot; colors are a bit odd and makes feet look very wide.

I tried these on in a store and the regular width was too tight. I NEVER wear a wide shoe, but this one was perfect for me. Even when I tried on the 7 1/2 regular width, it was way to tight. So, the 7 wide ended up being perfect. Go figure!!!

These are just what I was hoping for! My last hikers (a different brand) were amazing but the grip of the shoe was worn and no longer safe for hikes. This is a new brand for me in a hiker. They fit very comfortably, true to size, nice cushion and an ok arch. The toe box is plenty roomy and the grip is amazing. I can’t wait to wear them hiking in Maui.

Ordered wide, toe box is good. This hiker made me pronate, and the height/thickness at ankle is strange. Makes ankle look huge yet doesn't give me the support of an ankle boot. Morton's Neuroma issue so these might work without squeezing toes. Returned and keeping the Toa GTX.

These shoes fit well (I sized up a half size and ordered a wide) but I just didn't love the color and style. They seemed a bit clunky even for a hiking shoe.

Great from the start! Already have hiked in them and am very pleased.

The boot fit PERFECTLY! I had no need to break them in at all.

I really really like this shoes. After a recent ankle injury, I felt I needed some additional support while on the mend. These boots were perfect! They provided some additional support but still lightweight enough to weigh all day. I felt very secure on my feet as opposed to my regular tennis shoes. They are not as tall as hiking boots. They are also cute.

Nice sturdy boot. Purchased to go hiking in AZ and Grand Canyon area. Nice looking boot, sturdy and sure-footed, light weight. I generally wear a woman's 8.5 WW. They were snug in the toe box.

This hiking boot was true to size and was extremely comfortable. I didn't even need to break in before a 2 week hiking trip in Scotland. They are fairly waterproof. I stayed dry with the rain but when needing to walk thru small streams not as much. However, I would of bought and used these for that trip again just because of the comfort. I previously have only owned Merrell hiking shoes/boots but tried these due to the price and so glad I did.

Got these for winter travel, but wore them on lengthy dog walks without any issues. Perfect fit, even for my cinder block feet!

These boots are perfect in every way. No break-in time is needed. They are comfortable right out of the box!

Sizing is way off. I ordered a 12, my normal shoe size. It was way too small. My daughter who wears a 9.5 tried them on, and they fit her. At least one of us got hiking boots.

Great for, lightweight, and comfortable! Great price too!

This pair is a replacement for a pair I ordered late last year. I loved the boots but they were guaranteed waterproof by Columbia. The waterproofing failed after 5 months. I have had three other pair of Columbia waterproof boots and the waterproofing lasted for years. I took an exchange instead of a refund hoping that the failure if the waterproofing was just a fluke.
