I have purchased a few pairs of Merrell shoes for work and weekend activitiies. These did not dissapoint! I love the look of them and boy are they comfortable. I work on a farm and these feel great even after hours and hours on my feet. They fit true to size.

Great walking shoe until the insole started slipping back towards the heal leaving the toes to hang over and making them quite uncomfortable. Until then I was loving them.

Overall these are a pretty good shoe, though not as comfortable as I have come to expect from Merrell. Great reaction from others when worn.

One of the most comfortable shoes I have purchasedbut have hiked in them twice and showing some signs of wear. Not cool. I hope they hold up.

Love the shoes. Bought em for and wore em at a music festival in Tampa. Held up well in bad weather and crowded conditions.

Fit slightly bigger than my usual brands. On the fence to weather I return or ride them out.

Fit is good and they are comfortable. The only thing I'd like to improve/change is some sort of quick lace system.

Nice looking shoe, but it was too narrow for my husband's wide foot. Too bad it only comes in medium width.

I've had these for exactly 1 year and just bout my second pair. I've hiked the mountains of West Virginia and the mountains of Ireland in these and west them every day as a teacher in class. My only complaint is that the inside of the heel wore out quicker than I would hope. Even still I would still recommend these shoes!

I bought the Nova 2 for a lightweight trail shoe for longer walks with the dog on wooded trails and playing disc golf on wooded courses and unstable terrain. I was looking for something lightweight but not minimalist with lateral stability that wasn't a mid or a boot. I acknowledge those are prerequisites that do not necessarily go together but I did some online research and decided the Nova 2 was the shoe that most closely fills the bill. A lot of the reviews I read said the Nova 2 was out-of-the-box ready to go which I honestly haven't found to be the case but aside from that they have been great - they are lightweight for this class of trail shoe and they have good stability when walking on uneven ground over rocks, roots, ruts and slopes and taking a hard side steps and pivots. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because they don't have the broken in feel a lot of reviews said they would have out of the box which was something I was really hoping for. That being said, after I wear these out on the trails and courses a few more times I will definitely update this review (if possible) as they break in.

Recent purchased and seems a great update from the original I had many years ago. Comfortable. Wish they have more color choice in wide.

Having wide feet I have found that "wide" shoes vary greatly between brands, with some (e.g. Nike) being much narrower. With my doing more hiking lately I thought I'd give these a try and am very pleased. They are actually slightly too wide for me, but perfect with thicker socks. Overall excellent shoes. I've hiked about 10 miles and mowed my lawn with them so far and no staining or issues.

Light weight, good grip, attractive and they glow. I wish they were a little brighter in the dark, but it is nice to at least have something. Good shoes!

Normally wear a 12 wide in Merrell but that was a half size too large. Reordered an 11.5 and it worked. I compared footbed of size 12 Moab 3 and it matched the 11.5 Nova 2. The mesh around the upper ankle tears easily. It is frayed on both shoes after light use.

Excellent shoes for comfort, and fit true to size. Advertised as glow in the dark, but require UV light to activate, which makes the gimmick less fun than I thought at time of order as I was hoping these shoes would be great for night shifts due to the luminescent soles. Good grip for every day use and walking. Time will tell how durable these shoes are, as these are my first Merrell brand shoes.

A little too loose for the size even though trail runners are supposed to be. Great quality shoe though and super comfortable with great support

I love these, purchased 5 pairs of Nova 2 in the last two year, they are beautiful and so comfortable, and they breath, which has a downside because they aren't very waterproof, or warm. The only thing I don't like is that they don't last long, with my normal walking I wear the soles out in about three or four months.

First off, THANK YOU Merrell for offering wide widths. I don't know if people are just ok with jamming their feet into unnaturally shaped shoes or if I just have wider feet than most. But, I need wide shoes comparable to what's being sold by these big companies. Starting to see a lot of natural style splay shoes being offered but they're still few and far between. These Novas are simple and get the job done. They have solid tread that work on pavement and trails. I've taken them on 3 mile sidewalk runs by the house and also up elevation on loose trails. The one thing I wasn't crazy about is the height of the platform. If you have weaker ankles or tend to roll ankles on trails or sharp turns, you might want to brace up. These soles feel a couple mm too high for an ideal trail running shoe but they're still right up there with every other high end trail shoe I've tried (Hoka, Topo, Altras), but these have the edge due to their accurate size and generous width. Will likely buy the ankle high version and also try out some proper hiking shoes in wide.

Had mine for 4 mos now and already showing wear with what I would consider light use. Toe coverage is too short so starting to wear right behind where they put the durable rubber covering and on the outside where the she bends just beyond the rubber coverage is fraying. Comfort wise really high marks so for a fashion shoe category this is fine but for a hiking or trail shoe, it falls in the lightweight category. I would also say its not very firm underfoot like a Solomon.

I would love to give 5 stars however the insoles keep moving towards the heel of the shoe. It started on the first long walk that I took (6 miles). Thank goodness for duct tape.
