NOT WATERPROOF. THE DESCRIPTION IS WRONG. OTHERWISE THE SHOE IS FINE. LIGHTWEIGHT AND VENTED.

Merrell seems to be my go-to shoe and these Wildwood Aerosports were no exception. I was looking for a lightweight walking shoe for my daily 3 plus mile walks with my dog. So far, I am satisfied with the fit and comfort. The lacing system on these shoes is a bonus. I tend to wear the heels out first and hope I get good wear from these.

NOT WATERPROOF AT ALL. Basically the complete opposite of waterproof -- it's designed to let water in and out extra easily. Basically like Crocs but with the sole of a real sneaker. So, Zappos' description is BS, but if you're reading this review, you're already doing better than I did. I'm returning these shoes because they aren't what I need.

This may be as good as it gets when it comes to ventilation, but - toe box is very narrow, heel cup is wide. At least for my feet. But they may be easy to break in since most of the upper is open mesh.

Merrell is another one of those "narrow toe box" shoe makers. However, these might stretch into shape after awhile.

These are not waterproof. Please update the description

Narrow toe box. Wide heel cup. Might return. However, it's hard for me to find shoes the don't have this problem. One exception is Altra

They would be fine as a driving shoe, but too narrow and insufficient support for walking.

Great summer shoe

The shoes fit my grandson who is nine years old. He said they were comfortable and he really likes them.

Grandson is 9 years old and wears a size men's 7! He says they are the best running shoes ever!

Fit was perfect for my fast

These shoes are...okay. They just aren't for me. They did seem a bit too narrow. But I usually wear wider shoes. The arch support was also present, just in a different spot than the arch of my foot. I'm sad to say they are getting returned. Which is too bad, I do like Merrell shoes. I don't think I like the mesh design nor the lace up feature. It doesn't lock in place.
