Not waterproof. Good shoes until I wore them in the rain. Mesh uppers are not at all waterproof, toes of both feet got wet within 10 minutes of moderate rain, no puddles or anything.

I love how these shoes look but they are a minimalist style and what made me send them back was the lack of cushion and they felt too narrow for my foot. I ordered sizing based on prior Merrel orders. I learned this style of shoe is not for me. It does not mean it is not for others.

Hi team - I currently have Merrell sandals, Moab 3's, and Oakcreeks in rotation. I initially loved the comfy fit and relative light weight of the Oakcreeks, and they quickly became my daily go-to shoes. Unfortunately, after only 50-60 miles or so - never in the wet - the uppers began to noticeably stretch, and the fit has became loose. See photos for current state after about 3 months. Admittedly, I'm 6'2" and 230 lbs, with an "American football" build. But as daily wear - the vast majority of the miles on these shoes have been on hard surfaces, with very limited trail time. In contrast, the Moab 3's - with more strenuous use - still fit snugly.

I found the fit to be very different than expected for a barefoot shoe. The arch of the sole was so high that it created a curved last, and it was overall a very un natural fit for my foot.

Honestly it was bound to happen eventually but these are shoes have lost the thing that made me love the original trail gloves. I've had a pair(several different ones) since around 2011 and I've always loved the wide toe box, the low rise, and the incredible grip they had. These shoes have a tight toe box, they feel much higher than my previous shoes, and I don't care for the grip. Missing the barefoot shoe y'all started with. I'll try another brand next time.

This pair was as my 5th pair of trail glove sneakers. I purchase these shoes for the arch support, toe box and barefoot feel. This pair had a smaller toe box and I enjoyed the tongue on the trail glove 5 much better. However, my biggest gripe, the quality was very poor. This pair wore out much quicker than any of the others. The pros to the 6, the colors were great.

this shoe was very difficult to get into. The lacing system does not allow for a wide opening. I will clip the fabric lace holders so that I can hopefully get into the shoe.

These shoes have a different tongue that is sewn in. It is not preferred by me personally.

Narrow with a very cramped toe-box and a painfully pronounced arch support. If you're looking for the Vapor Glove with a thicker sole, this is not it. This may fit some shape of foot, but it definitely does not fit mine. It's a genuine disappointment, because the Vapor Glove fits me like it was designed exactly for my foot.

Extremely disappointed in the shoes they should not be called barefoot. They are extremely narrow. They are not anything like the original trail gloves. I had a pair of trail glove 4 and they are way wider in the toolbox. I kept wondering why my feet hurt while wearing these and then I compared and realized that they are easily a half inch to 3/4 of an inch narrower in the toebox. I wish I could get my money back at this point. It's a total loss as I will not be wearing these shoes because they are way too narrow and hurt. My feet would not have bought them if it wasn't for the fact they were labeled as barefoot shoes.

I have been running and loving Trail Gloves starting with the 1st version ( still have them thanks to shoe goo). This Trail Glove 6 is way too narrow in the toe box v/s the great Trail Glove 4. As others have written (and I should have heeded that advice), I loosened the laces just about as far as they would go and still had difficulty getting my foot inside. These definitely do not run 1/2 size larger. There is no comparison to the best version, TG4s. What happened Merrell? Why did you abandon the last for this, what was my and many others' THE goto minimal, barefoot Trail shoe? Note, my TG4s had lasted for so long as I was running on softer Kentucky trails but now am on hard and rocky Southern California trails which is why I had high hopes for the outsole pattern to better deal with the sharp rocks that quickly ate away at the TG4 lugs. But since these do not fit even close to the prior models I must go to another brand that will provide the zero-drop, wide foot-box, and minimal barefoot feel I had enjoyed so much in the previous model versions. Also, ditch the Gum version of the outsole, it is too soft and wears way too fast on harder surfaces as opposed to just about any other outsole color. Again Merrell, Please revert to the model 4 version and I'll be back. I've attache photos of 3 of my 4 Trail gloves; originals, & 2 versions of the TG4

Beware, if you Own and wear any version of the Moab line and are considering these Oakcreek's because they are a bit cheaper, don't do it. These feel cheap and have minimal lateral support due to low quality fit and finish/materials. I guess they are OK for beater shoes to sacrifice if you don't care. Spend a little bit more to get a whole lot more with the Moab line. Wish I could return these

I loved the original Merrell minimalist shoes - the Trail Glove and Bare Access - and wore several generations of them since 2015. They were characterized by a zero drop, minimal cushioning and a WIDE TOEBOX, which I need for my feet. But they kept getting narrower. The last good pair I bought was in about 2019 and they were Bare Access 4 or 5 leftovers. They apparently no longer make anything that fits the same way, but I keep trying, lol. I tried these new Trail Gloves and couldn't even get my foot into them, and my feet aren't obscenely wide or anything. I just want decent zero drop and decent room in the forefoot, but they have morphed into a narrow, low volume shoe. I'm sure they're fine if thats the fit you want.

These are the first shoes I got from merrell, gotta say I'm very disappointed. When I read "barefoot" I thought this shoe would be wide and flat like most shoes advertised as "barefoot" shoes. I have big feet, but size 14 felt like my feet were being pressed together. Even with the laces loose, they were still tight. To be fair, the shoe seems well made and it looks good but it is not a barefoot shoe. I will be returning these shoes, I cannot wear them; too uncomfortable.

I received these a few weeks ago. They fit great and are comfortable. Did a few intervals of 400 meters to warm up and the sole is already coming off. So now a small rocks get wedged in

These shoes are supposed to be "barefoot". That claim is far from accurate. There is an insanely high arch support and the toe box is very thin. Cushion of the shoe is very comfortable. If the width and arch support was fixed, these would be a perfect shoe! Please, for the Trail Glove 7, fix these issues!

Not a barefoot shoe. If you regularly wear barefoot shoes these are very narrow. The arch is also very stiff.
