I weigh 235, and hike with 3.0L of water weight gear. Grip is insane! These are the best hiking shoes I’ve ever owned. Whenever they wear out I will buy another pair. Or if they stop making them I’m going to buy 10 pairs to be set for life. I live in Sedona, AZ. If you know about it’s hiking, then you know this is a solid review. I hike a few times a week, and usually once a week do a 8+ mile rugged way out back hike. My feet have never been more comfortable on the trails. They hurt to walk in on hard surfaces like sidewalks, asphalt, etc. but that’s the case with most all hiking boots. I think they may run a tiny bit large, but I wear a size 15. May not be the case in smaller sizes.

The best hiking boot ever! Just spent a week hiking through Yellowstone/Tetons and never once had to worry about my feet. My feet felt planted with every step, never had to worry about walking through puddles or snow, my feet were warm and dry the entire time! No break in period, they feel amazing right out of the box. No complaints at all with these boots, highly suggested!

The size and fit ... I am very pleased with! The style matched the picture and in this era of online purchasing its very important to receive an online purchase that matches the picture you see from any given online vender because there are a lot of shady companies out to take hard earned money! Very pleased! Kuddos to Zappos!!!!!!!

Great sturdy shoes, hike 3-4 times weekly on pretty intense hikes. (Sedona,AZ) great grip, holding up well so far. And doesn’t look like a normal old boring hiking boot.

The size and fit are good.

I love the looks. But they were way too small. Strange because I have worn maybe 5-6 pairs of Adidas Terrex shoes before in size 11, but for some reason the mid top hikers run very small.

I have always worn 11.5 or 12 but I could have easily fit into a 12.5. I would recommend a half size larger but love the shoe.

tight in the toe box. I'll need a Wide next time in this shoe. I don't usually need a W (but sometimes) beautiful shoe if you order it large enough.

I really wanted to like these but they just didn’t feel comfortable. I probably could have made them work but I didn’t want to just settle. I walk a lot and I was not loving the way they felt on my feet.

Comforte is only acceptable as they have minimal support. The sole started peeling away after just 20 days. I had to return them under Zapposfactory defect warranty (which is great, by the way). It's unfortunate because I love the style. Zappos did an amazing job with their customer service while resolving this issue.
