Toe box (steel toe) is not wide enough. Boot itself, fits great, but I feel it after about 4 hours.

I love these boots. Look good, fell good, work well. Exactly what I need for my work environment.
Only negative I have is that I would like a better quality shoe lace.

maybe in a little while my opinion will change but I wore them and went for a walk in order to break them in but in my opinion they don't seem to be walking friendly

The heel seems normal width and the toe box slightly wider. I like that. I'd like the toe cap to be about 1/4 inch taller. There's not much cushioning and adding thicker insoles brings the toes up to the bottom of the cap.

As woman in an industry that requires steel-toed boots, I had difficulty finding something comfortable in my size. The steel toes are roomy enough that they don't rub in weird places.
The memory foam insoles were useless - they compress too much while standing so they do nothing for support. I'm not sure why they didn't make the insoles removable. I needed to put in puncture-resistant insoles (which is pretty standard for jobs that require steel-toed boots) and I had to rip out the memory foam to use them.
I also had trouble lacing them properly, which hurt my ankle at first. Most work boots have hooks instead of the top 2 eyelets, and I ended up just having to leave the top 2 eyelets open just so I could tighten the boot enough over my foot, otherwise that area would loosen up when I tightened around my ankle.
Removable insoles and speed lacing would make these 5 stars for me.

I'm a welder and had a contract on a large construction site. Walking 5 miles a day, they were still comfortable considering the walk. The steel toe did cover up to my pinkie (shortest toe). It stopped short before then. Additionally, the top of the boot dug into the side of my calf. Felt like they either need to be made longer or shorter. I'm 5'7" and it digs in uncomfortably. The relaxed fit took some getting used to because they didn't seem supportive in the ankle area.
Might return these really.

Good boots, I got them for work for Starbucks but upon wearing them, they are NOT slip resistant WHAT do ever. If you get these for work, I recommend getting your money back.

Bought these for my son for work. Although he says they're mostly comfortable and the fit feels ok, the steel toe digs into the sides of his big toes and is causing blisters.

Very happy with the comfort and fit. However product arrived with frayed laces. Contacted customer service to see if replacement could be provided. Got no response. Would like to see follow up on this.

When I read memory foam i thought there would be some cushion. Feels like a walking on a cement block with the 1/8 inch of "memory foam" inside

I was looking for a shoe that would cover the ankle but still look acceptable with work clothes while in business casual and fit my very wide feet (I usually wear 4E footwear which is why I love Skechers shoes). While shopping on the website, I noticed the steel toe (ST) version of this boot had a wide fit option versus the non-steel toe version. I did not need a ST, but chose this boot due to the wide fit option. The boots arrived and I tried them on, but the toe was too narrow to fit my foot properly. I ordered the same size as the many other pairs of Skechers footwear that I own. I drove to my nearest Skechers outlet store to try on other sizes and exchange them, but even with a larger size the width just wasn't there. I decided to try on the Workshire NON-steel toe version even though it was not marked as a wide fit on the box. As I held the two versions of the boot side by side, you could actually see the width difference between the two boots. The non-steel toe version is actually wider and fits very well even though it is not marked as a wide fit boot. So if you are looking for a nice looking boot that is comfortable for being on your feet all day and you don't need a steel toe, I would suggest the non-steel toe version of this same boot.

Eh. These boots are probably good for "mild" work conditions where you're not moving around too much. They have zero breathability. I can feel that I have wet feet while wearing them. And I'm not an overly sweaty guy. The "memory foam" insoles feel more like "compressed memory cardboard". They scuff pretty easily as well. The look and actual fit are decent. Not bad for the price, but also not good for real construction work. If you want black boots to look cool or for a mild work boot, then these may be ok for you. In Skechers defense, my job is rough on boots. I usually have to replace my boots the beginning of every construction season (summer). And I wear my Baffins for a few months in the winters. I'll just have to stick with my $200 Danners for work and maybe use these when I ride the motorcycle. But I will definitely change out the insoles for something more comfortable.

Loved the look of the boots, but really, they're work boots. I already have one pair of Skechers boots that work great and are very comfortable and they are size 14 WW. I also have three pairs of Skechers casual shoes, a training type and two pairs of casual sneaker types and they are all very, very comfortable.

I wear these at work. They endure everything I throw at them. Tough shoes indeed. The memory foam is a non factor. I bought them because of that feature, and not impressed now.
