Unfortunately, Dr. Martens are rather hit-or-miss with the sizing since they don’t come in half-sizes. I ordered both half-size up and half-size down (I normally wear a mens 9.5) and both just didn’t fit right. The 10 was slightly too large and the 9 was slightly too small. I thought that if I wore them a couple times around the house with thick socks like some suggest, they’d fit better and form to my feet better; however, that was not the case in my experience. I absolutely love the style but they just hurt too much to try and bear through the pain for the look :(

These are great ! I bought the regular version and sized down based on reviews and they didn't fit. When I went to reorder these were on sale and I'm short so I thought ....why not add some height. Just put them on they fit perfectly! Super comfortable. They are a bit heavier with the extra sole but not so much that I cannot walk comfortably. I walked around the living room and they have pretty great cushion. Can't wait to go out in these! Definitely will be buying more in my normal size which is an 8-8.5. I bought an 8. My feet are a bit wider than "regular" but I don't buy wide width shoes if that helps people decide on sizing.

Cool but heavy and size down

These are perfection! I got my normal street size 8 and they fit perfect. The heel part is stiff so will need some protectors there and of course, time to break in. They are a bit heavy, but that’s to be expected for platform shoes. They’re easy to walk in, especially fora clumsy person like me! I can’t express how perfect these shoes are. Love the bubble toe, 5e shine is amazing and overall comfy so far. Can’t wait to wear these for many many years!

Im a true size 7 in every shoe but with Dr Martens I always have to size down to a 6. Love these! Take a while to break in though. Still happy w my purchase!

This shoe is perfect except that the side hits my outside ankle bone without manually breaking it in, but that happens to me with all my oxfords. I wish they made a version of their patent leather oxford with a ziggy sole.

Stylish and fun with the same Dr. Martens quality we have grown to appreciate over the years. Looking forward to many years of wear.

These shoes look awesome! I read reviews and saw to size down, so I sized down to a 7 (usually wear an 8) and the size 7 was slipping off my feet. I went to a local store to try on a size 6 before returning because I don't think I've ever bought a size 6 in a shoe and they fit better. So in my experience, these fit very large! I also do have a thinner heel which probably had something to do with it. Definitely still want these, though, they are awesome looking shoes and seem really sturdy from just trying them on!

Doc Martens never fail on looks. The shoe rubs the heal, but ok when I put a heel cushion. Shoe EXTREMELY heavy, so work up to wearing them when extended walking will be required.

I like these shoes overall, but I decided to return them because they're too shiny for my overall style needs. They feel great and fit true to size. I wish Docs made a pair just like them, but with a padded tongue, padded rim around the ankles and a more natural leather look. Maybe some day in the near future?

surprisingly much larger than our other pairs of Doc Martens in the same size that we usually wear. we could step out of these without even unlacing. The same day we also ordered a pair of Doc Martens chelsea boots in the same size, and they were too short. Not sure what is happening with the sizing. unfortunately we have to return both pairs.

Loved the style but not very comfortable. It's a very heavy shoe and was a poor fir for me.
