First, I am a Doc Martens girl, it's what I wear. I am a big gardener and need a tough and bad ass looking shoe to wear around the our flower farm and run to the store. I love this basic shoe, it's just that I wear them so much I need to replace them every couple of years, only because I wear the heel down unevenly. I wish you could replace that part of the shoe but you can't. The price point of this particular shoe was right on. Comfy right out of the box. Was super happy with the extra yellow laces that were sent with the shoes

These are labeled women’s 5, but 100% fit as a women’s 6. This is true with all Doc Martens though.

Shoes fit true to size (US Men's 10). At first the tongue on the right shoe was really rubbing against the top of my foot causing a bit of discomfort, but that seems to be going away now that they are breaking in. The leather has a flat finish that gets lighter colored in the creases and scuffed very easily, but I believe this is by design to give it a "distressed" look. It's not a bad look, but if you like your shoes to look uniformly colored and shiny, then these boots are definitely not for you.

Finally the quality I’ve always associated with Docs. I had gotten a few pairs that while they had the name of Dr. Marten, they were flimsy and didn’t hold up. These are heavy duty and should last years. I did put an arch support in as I always do with Dr. Marten’s.

First pair of docs that didn’t give me blisters as I broke them in! The leather is beautiful. I did apply protectant to prevent scuffing and scratching. I do wish that halon sizes were available.

I love them! Wear them to work every day and I would not hesitate to buy another pair. They are cut a bit long so if you are between sizes I would recommend going down a half size. But I find wearing thick socks solves that problem.

I followed recommends of Reviewers and ordered half a size down and it fits perfectly. I like the lower cut of this boot from the traditional Dr Marten boots I have worn in the past. These will be for motorcycle riding and if experience holds out- I’ll be good for several years!

I love my DMs and have been wearing them since the ‘90s. I have extremely wide feet, and I gravitated to Docs because of their generous fit. The level of comfort there depends on the cut of the shoe or boot, though, and these feel a bit more narrow than my 1460s and older similarly styled Docs. They will break in and feel a bit more comfy as I wear them, but right now, they are quite snug. They are very nice boots. Well made and substantial. The aggressive tread will be great in winter. These came with an extra set of black and yellow laces, which I thought was cool. Overall, these are fabulous boots. I docked a comfort point for not fitting perfectly out of the box. I probably could have gone up a size for more width and filled the gap with a pair of insoles.

I loved the look of the boots but they were too large even tried 2 different sizes; unfortunately I had to return them

Theses shoes were heavier than I realized and way too big for my narrow foot. Definitely needed a size down.
