I take a size 39 in Birkenstock sandals, and the size 39 of the Birkenstock Benders fit me perfectly. Plenty of width but not overly wide. I can't get over how good they feel. The footbed is more like that of a sandal than of other Birkenstock shoes I have worn. I feel it molding to my feet, and it is more supportive than footbeds in my Birkenstock boots and shoes. Birkenstock, you have a winner here! Please make more shoes with this pleasing design and supportive footbed!

These shoes have been a foot saver! I have been suffering with foot issues for over a year and after wearing these shoes for less than a week, the difference in my foot pain has been incredible!! Great arch support. A little big in the heel area, but I just tie the laces differently to get it tighter.

I wanted to love these - but the right foot shoe is a different shape than left! I am exchanging in hopes this was a random defect…. They’re really cute and seem comfy / but I can’t get past the shape!! The right is cut sharper than left.

Love these shoes! Bought my usual Birkenstock size 39, but had to send back and get a 40 because my toes hit the end in the 39. Lots of wiggle room for toes, excellent arch support, and didn’t even have to break them in at all. Glad I bought them!

First ordered the regular width and then tried narrow. Narrow was much better. Very stable Birk base and WIDE toe box. And while I do love the comfort and could accept the wide toes, my heels slipped quite a bit even in narrow. Absolutely great shoe that I'd recommend if they fit your foot well.

These are SUPER cute. I've been looking for some black leather casual sneakers and these totally fill the bill. They look great with jeans and overalls. They are super comfy too. I will probably wear them all the time and have to get another pair:) They have them in other colors too.

Love these! Fit is great, actually makes my long foot look a little shorter. These are my second pair of Birkenstock sneakers and I wear my first pair (Arran) almost exclusively. Glad to have a second option now.

Love this shoe and love Birkenstock. I returned because I bought the wide and needed the regular width. Otherwise it is a great shoe. It is my first Birkenstock that is not a sandal and I was very pleased. It will be one of my travel shoes. The band of cork around the edge is a nice touch. I am 73 yrs young and wear a size 91/2.

I ordered a size up than my regular Birkenstocks, just in case it would be too tight with socks. glad that I did! these are super cute and very comfortable with or without socks.

I'm in love with these shoes. My toes have room to move but the shoe doesn't slip, the footbed forms right to my foot. They feel wonderful, and I am looking forward to using them on a trip with lots of walking about town! I would say that my foot tends to wide, though medium width is usually comfortable enough. This will be my first experience with Birkenstocks, and I may need to explore more. I was looking for a white court sneaker that I could wear with just about anything, and I think I found them. Other types were too tight on the toes and would have been very uncomfortable after a lot of walking. I wear a size 10, but they don't seem long, which is great for me.

Love these shoes! I have been shopping for a pair of white sneakers to wear on a trip to Europe where we will be walking over cobblestones for long distances. I wanted comfort, arch support, plenty of room to accomodate a bunion on one foot and of course be cute enough to wear with any outfit. I tried 20+ pairs of shoes and was getting discouraged when nothing fit. I was skeptical when I ordered but hopeful. When I took them out of the box and put them on I said hallelujah ! They fit great, look great and no need to break them in. I've worn them shopping for a day and I forgot they were on my feet. I love these shoes and are definitely worth the price.

These were exactly what I was looking for, cute white sneakers for wide feet needing arch support are hard to find. You can never go wrong w/Birkenstocks.

My new favorites- These are perfection! They’re perfect for the times I can’t wear my sandals, but still crave the comfort and support of Birks. I intend to order more colors and hope Birkenstock continues to branch out with shoes for those of us who live in cold climates. I also hope Zappos broadens their selection of Birkenstock shoes so there are more of their “shoe” options. They feel SO good on my feet and knees and fit the “cool” white sneaker trend that’s so popular now.

I have a few pairs of Birkenstock sandals, and these sneakers feel pretty much exactly the same. I assumed that they’d have a little more cushion and/or arch sulport, but they’re very flat and hard. They make my adidas shell toes feel like a pillow. They also looked like a mix between clown and bowling shoes in person. One positive is that they have a spacious toe area. That’s about it.

The shoes did not fit, they were too small. My size has not changed, I wonder if Birkenstock has changed its sizing or whether it was the shoe. Also the pair I received were obviously worn with crease marks and dirty soles.

I wanted to love these shoes, but was unsure of the fit. I normally wear a size 40 in Birkenstocks. I was worried that I would get blisters from these because they felt loose on my feet. - mainly my heels. Maybe it was the socks I was wearing, but I wasn’t willing to find out for a pair of $150 shoes. I even tried size 39, but they were too small.

Bend is an attractive shoe without doubt. I am a true size 7.5 in a closed shoe/boot and a 7 in a sandal, and a medium width. I ordered the size 38 narrow. The width was fine but my toes felt cramped by the toe box, without sox. There was no way I could have worn even a light sox without discomfort. I am sure a size 39 would have been too long. The problem may just be my feet. I need a wide(r) toe box but have a medium heel. It seems I either slip out at the heel or squash my toes. Unfortunately this nice looking sneaker went back. A big thumbs up to Zappos for their easy returns.

I love my Birkenstock sandals and wanted a sneaker that offered the same comfort. These sneakers are really cute but didn't offer the same comfort as my sandals. To be fair, I suffer from hallux rigidus and need a sole that does not bend/flex. While these shoes have plenty of room in the toe box, they are more flexible and aggravated my condition. I ordered the same size as my Birkenstock sandals (38, narrow) and they fit great. Just didn't work for me, unfortunately.

Really loved my Birkenstock sneakers but these are super disappointing. I'm always a 40 M in Birkenstock shoes, but these for some reason just do not fit. The 40 is too short in the toe, the 41 too big in the heel. Wish they would come up with a better sizing model that includes half sizes.

Great shoes! They feel just like the sandals do but in shoe form. Zappos customer was great too!

Love these shoes! As a teacher, I’m on my feet most of the day. There was a week breaking-in period to get the leather to soften up a bit but it’s totally worth it. The shoes provide all-day comfort. They look cute with jeans, leggings, and dresses.

This is my 3rd pair of Birkenstock Bend-Leather shoes. I love them and wear them most days. They are comfortable and a good all around stylish sneaker!

I couldn't love these shoes more! I have a very hard time finding shoes that work for my feet. I need a wide toe box, but a wide shoe overall is too big for me. I also have plantar faciitis and a history of surgery. The way the footbed molds to my foot is 100% perfect! The shoes have a wide toe box, so every part is a fantastic fit. They are so comfortable! I recommend giving these a try.

I love these - toe box is very wide and arch support is as amazing as any of my Birkenstocks. I can wear them for hours and they're great with a dressier pair of slacks. I have these in 3 colors - including the discontinued silver that are my go-to dressy shoes for Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, etc. (for reference, I have bunions, plantar fasciitis, and residual foot pain from a break a couple years ago)
