Had it 2 weeks and worn half of the days since. Blocks wind like a Squamish, but moves better. Insulated almost as well as atom LT but the fit is better and it's light as a feather. Layers easily under shells.

This is my day to day jacket, unless it's raining. I have been mainly in vancouver but this is the perfect spring puffy, for those cold mornings and warm afternoons. I ride, hike and golf in this piece. Extremely well fitting with excellent ventilation. One of my favourite jackets. I didn't expect to wear it as much as i do.

I got this Jacket a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. It's a great spring layer on it's own and fits great under heavier jackets when its a bit cooler. The fleece side panels are nice and offer nice ventilation, especially when comparing with my atom LT (granted the LT is a lot warmer). My usual size is M, but I had to size up to a large because the medium was way to tight. That makes it a little bit roomier too so that I can fit a light sweater or something else underneath if I ever need to. So far my only complaint is that it doesn't have hand pockets, but I get why they didn't include them.

I have the Proton LT, but once I got the Atom SL, I found that the SL got the job done and is much lighter and more packable. If I am ski touring, climbing, or just staying active, the SL has plenty of warmth to keep me comfortable, especially if paired under a shell. When not in use, the SL is extremely lightweight and packable. I highly recommend this jacket.

Feels very comfortable to wear. I prefer close fitting clothing so the Medium I ordered suits me fine (5'11", 78KGs) I can fit a T-shirt and fleece later under it, but consider ordering a size bigger if you prefer a baggier fit.

Just purchased this jacket. Have had the Atom SL hooded jacket for a few years and love it. So far, the anorak feels like the perfect piece to clip to your harness (easily packs into pocket with loop for easy clipping) and use as a light layer at belays, or a light outer layer on colder climbing days. Fit is perfect, I'm 6', 155lbs, and a medium fits perfect. Also fits great while wearing a harness. Anorak design is great and eliminates the full zipper and extra pockets which are unnecessary when climbing.

I use this jacket all the time, it's so comfortable I just wear it alone in mild to hot weather. Walking running often what I reach for when I get out of the water, or as the summer evening jacket. I went Large which fits with room to move, I could have gone medium for that more fitted look, I'm 173cm and 80kgs

Bought this coat mainly for mountain biking. Fits great, is warm without being too hot. Love the anorak design.

Great lightweight windbreaker with just a little insulation in the torso. DWR seems solid and sheds water well. Fits true if maybe on the slim side.

I picked this Anorak up a month back when I first saw it, I love pullover smock style jackets and this is a first rate pick. The fit is great, I'm slim built 5"10 and the small fits like a glove, with some space under for a base and even an extra layer. The warmth is just right, especially for a mixture of scenarios - be it under my Alpha FL as a mid layer on colder days or used as a standalone it works great. The pullover insulation keeps your core warm whilst the stretch fleece underarms dump a nice amount of heat when working up a sweat. I've used it on my runs, hikes and for just popping to the shop, and in all honesty is becoming a second skin. The fact it rolls up into its own pocket it super for packing in my bag, clipping to a harness etc and it looks to be a firm favourite. It is slim fit so if you do prefer a little more room, you might want to size up, but for myself my true size fitted in the athletic fit I was after. Nice on Arc'teryx.

I have had the Atom LT jacket for just about 10 years and it has held up beautifully while being my go-to synthetic insulation when I plan for more aerobic activities! I have been curious about the Atom SL for some time, and when the Anorak style came out this year - it seemed to fill a perfect niche! The jacket features an even more minimal cuff, and the collar feels very comfortable when it is fully zipped up (an aspect of the Atom LT that I LOVE.) The fit is definitely more slim than the LT, I am 6' 2", 155 lbs and wish the arms and rear were just 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch longer. As I show a bit of stomach if I reach over my head... Not a huge deal however. Overall - super psyched on this minimal jacket and It will fill a niche for trail running and ski touring! Disclosure: This review is based primarily on first impressions / and one day touring!

I ordered this online a couple weeks ago and have really liked it so far. Great thing to wear for a run or bike ride in the colder weather - keeps you warm, breaks the wind but also feels breathable! Functional and flattering.

I love anoraks and was very happy to see the Atom SL in an anorak. I purchased the hoody two years ago and much prefer the anorak. My anorak and hoody are the same size, however I find that the Anorak is a bit snugger at the front of the shoulder, I even considered returning it for a large. If more colours where available I would buy another.

I really enjoy my new Atom Anorak. I already loved my atom jacket so I knew I would love this one too. The fabric is very soft and fits comfortable. I would give 5 stars but the shoulders are a tad bit tight. I wear large in all other arcterryx pieces, so I was a little surprised that this atom sl anorak was a little tight through the shoulders.

Bought this a bit over a month ago. Light insulation through the chest, none in the hood and arms. So far it has been my favorite during those days when a t-shirt would be too little and anything more would be too much. Also a massive fan for general purpose around the office. Handles light rain well. Get too hot doing something active? Folds into the chest pocket, about the size of a woman's wallet. Runs slim, for my build (5'10/177cm, 150lb/68kg) a medium was perfect. Sense color looks fantastic as well :) Keep in mind, as a more active piece, this IS an SL piece. Get caught in thorns? Mine was fine, but don't be shocked if you have some little nicks in the fabric. This is a windbreaker, not for bushwacking.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I wore it once for a hike but it didn't feel confortable, the front zipper is too long, it almost gets into my stomach and it keeps going down and down every 20 minutes or so and I thing I didn't realize is that it doesn't have pockets. I bought several Arc'teryx jackets size M (BETA, RUSH, CERIUM) but this one runs too small, Im 5'11 and 178lbs and its extremely tight. Also one thing I didn't like is that the wrinkles are very visible in the texture. I wanted to give it a try but I wasn't convinced at the end, however the sense color is really nice.
