Hello my name is Omar, The Kaha low Gore-Tex size 14 is an exceptional hiking shoe, I'm a regular mail carrier and I deliver on a walking rout that is about 13 miles long and work 6 days a week that's about 78 miles in one week, so a shoe of this level for me is one of the most important things and my co-workers, but there is one major problem the shoe, is extremely narrow for me size 14 wide is sometimes hard to find so please consider updating your Gore-Tex line in the wide option, the Gore-Tex construction is excellent in my opinion one of the best shoes I have try for what I do, the customer service Adriana help me make a return exchange for the Speedgoat 4 on14 wide, because wide is not available on Gore-Tex Speedgoat 4 wide, I will test them out and will keep an eye on the Gore-Tex line to be available on the Wide option. Regards, Omar

I use these to hike. I'm 60/40 pavement and dirt. These don't wear down as easily as the non vibram soled shoes

I have had a chronic faciatis condition with my left foot. To keep this short, my foot condition has improved substantially within a few weeks of consistently wearing my Hoka shoes.

I had two foot surgeries on one of my feet. Walking has been painful ever since. That is until I bought a pair of Hoka One One Kaha shoes. I can walk again without pain - even on rocky trails!

Used these two days ago on a 10 mile hike from Spooner lake to Marllette Lake, Lake Tahoe. Traversed dry to wet to snow pack. Stayed dry, warm and comfortable. Grips awesome. Purchased a half size larger.

These beasts are incredible right out of the box. As of 2 weeks from getting them, I've put these through the ringer at Shenandoah. I was scared of the reviews that were saying these fit tight because my feet float somewhere between 10 and 10.5, are almost wide fit, and I also wear toe socks, but I felt like cinderella slipping these on in 10.5. The toe box on the Kaha's is generous and the interior is flawlessly padded - no uncomfortable grooves or stitching. I could feel the outline of the robust rubber toe cap, but I quickly forgot about it after half a mile. The midsole is a cloud, but not numb to the trail. The vibram outsole can take a beating and seriously, seriously grips everything wet and dry. My feet felt so loved and secured by the almost bucket-like fit of the heel, which I didn't expect out of a low hiking shoe. The Nubuck upper is supple, but can get pretty toasty inside. The Kaha Low definitely trends as a cold and wet weather shoe, so bring extra socks or wear sock liner in case you hike these in the summer. Even under 40lbs on my back, these shoes made hiking a joy at even the most grueling points of the trail. All in all, if you're looking for a multi-day, long-range backpacking shoe that fits like a boot and is built for durability and all-day comfort, pull the trigger. Happy trails!

l wear these for walking and hiking. We go mostly on uneven surfaces in hilly terrain. I also suffer from a plantar problem. These shoes and other hoka shoes have let me get back to walking and hiking. The hoka kaha shoes are really, really comfortable. Keep up the good work.

I have the high version of these shoes which lead me to purchase the lower version for summer hiking. I wear orthotics and had to size up a half size to get them to fit properly. Beyond that they are very comfortable and supportive. Personally I don't like the OEM laces that come with these shoes as they have a coating which makes them come untied. I switched to a pair of no-tie laces which work great in these shoes. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

For those who loved the Summit Tor WP check out this shoe! I found it a more than adequate replacement, and I have tried several others on offer that did not work Cushioning is the same as well as fit. Plus I prefer the grey color. Extremely comfortable, stable, and attractive.

I've had them for 2 days now and I haven't taken them off yet except for bed. My job I do alot of standing and I've had them on for 8hrs I did a leg workout in them after work for an hour and I went on a 3 mile walk afterward and still don't won't to take them off. Thanks Hoka for another fantastic show.

Been a fan of Hoka since I bought my first pair of Bindi's. Decided to try the Kaha Low for hiking. Did a 25 mile backpack trip with a 30 lb pack up the Bonds in the White Mountain National Forest. My knees would normally hurt for a couple days after a hike like that, but this time they didn't hurt at all. The extra cushioning made a huge difference hiking the rocky NH trails. Traction and support were both great. My only gripe is that they don't carry the WIDE size like they do with the Bindi's. I had to go to a size 14 and wear liners with my socks. I'm hoping Hoka reads these reviews and starts offering WIDE sizes in these shoes by the time I'm ready to buy my next pair.

The first 2 weeks they hurt to wear all day. Now I can't wear anything else. Guess it was correcting my instep. Love them.

The shoes felt good to me for backpacking in cold conditions. Cushioning is good, interior is soft and comfortable, outsole good, and waterproofing seems real good. They were stable when backpacking 25 miles. The outer of the shoe sheds water well. (unless rain runs down into them). I do wish they were a little lighter weight. Size 12 weigh 19 oz each, on my scale. They are a bit bulky , stiff and boot like, but good for winter backpacking

Heard a lot of good things about Hoka and decided to get a pair for my trip to Alaska. Perfect shoe for the entire trip; from the airport to the Artic Ocean to Resurrection Bay. I wound up wearing it more than the boots I packed for the expected mud because they were more comfortable. Great all around shoe for the outdoors.
