As an owner of nine different pairs of Hoka shoes, I think that I can give an honest opinion on this particular pair of boots. They are sized one full size small, and extra narrow . You have to contort your foot just to get them in the boot. I have never had to return a pair of boots, and I don't know if they will except this return. I was hoping that after 30 miles they would stretch a little but no luck.

I love these hiking shoes. I wore them today for the first time. I retired my Kaha Gortex's. Those have a 6 mm drop. These have a 4 mm drop. I can feel the difference and prefer the 4 mm drop. I don't understand the footwear science behind the expansive heel but it works for me. The only caution is to get use to wearing them while driving. Moving you foot from the accelerator to the brake requires and slight learning curve.

So far these shoes have been the most comfortable hikers I have owned. I usually have foot pain while hiking and that is a non-factor with these shoes. I hike in Phoenix so the terrain is very rocky. So far the shoes are holding up well. I am about a month in and around 100 miles and they feel like they did when I started using them.

I got the hoka tennine and absolutely loved them at first. I have had them exactly 20 days and the sole is literally falling off. These have not been abused because I work in them as a nurse. I contacted costumer service via text message because God forbid anyone answer a phone. The girl I talked to was rude and condescending to me. This is my 6th pair of hokas. Unfortunately it's also my last....

These are great running with my Husky on a snow covered trail. They felt stable and dry.

The back of my foot is a little bit wide. So I expected D size would be fit to my feet. But the width of shoes is so tight to my feet.

I waited to do a review until I had put some miles on these shoes. I've hiked about 30 miles on moderate terrain. I'm always in search of comfortable hiking shoes. Ive stuck with the traditional boots for years, I've never liked a lightweight shoe for hiking. After years of abuse , my feet are demanding it. These boots are weird looking , but once you put them on, it's like walking on a cloud. The grip is impressive. I've been over wet tree roots and rocks with no slipping. They are extremely comfortable. My only concern is how the lightweight material holds up to abuse. No signs of wearing out yet.

I have fallen in love with the TenNine boot. I shoot archery and they helped to stabilize my "foundation"
I am suffering with Plantar Fasciitis an they have greatly eased my pain.
I bought 11 and I should have bought 11.5 but I have already worn them at the National Championships.

Very lightweight, like walking on air. Very stable, less likely to twist an ankle. However, due to the flared heels, one must take care going down stairs as the back part of the heels tend to get caught on the steps. You will have to retrain yourself on stairs and maybe some rocky trails. Otherwise, I love these shoes and already thinking of buying another pair.

The wide back sole is perfect for my weakened ankles and the depth of the shoe helps reduce pain of severe arthritis and bone on bone issues. I have hiked with them and gone much further with much more comfort than any other shoe. Initially is was too narrow for my wide foot but Hoka sent me a lacing chart and I was able to alleviate that problem.

I've hiked 7-8 times now with this new boot on muddy NW trails and it's been a delightful surprise. Wasn't sure how the new heal design would feel, but it's exceeded my expectations. Here's my reactions so far: first, the increased cushioning was noticeable, particularly on my forefoot. I've been using the HOKA Kaha, and this has better cushioning. I also immediately noticed the tighter heal cup. The unique extended heel provided more stability which was appreciated on the muddier portions of the trail; also gave more cushioning and stability on the descents. Overall, it has exceeded my expectations and is the best boot I've used.

Vibram soles have excellent grip on snowy and icy surfaces. Plenty of room in the tie box especially nice for a guy with EEE feet. Lacing system is a little antiquated and hard to tighten evenly.

The sole fell off after less than 3 weeks of light wear and customer service was absolutely horrible about a resolution.

I needed a new "go-to" weatherproof hiking boot that can work in the mountains of upstate New York AND the snowy drifts of downtown Manhattan. These boots works in both terrains.

Amazing boots! Great fit and cushioning. Do not be scared of the look. They truly are hover crafts for your feet.

I have to admit these shoes are nothing easy on the eye; however, when i'm wearing them, I feel no pain whatsoever. They have unlocked comfort seldom seen with any, ANY competitors. I will not own any other athletic shoe, period.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received these "Hiking Boots". I purchased them because they looked great (colors and appearance). I'm a "Delivery Driver" and the colors matched my uniform. It did take me a day to get use to the "feel", and adjust because I normally wear sneakers while delivering. The comfort is "unmatched". Their durable, and rugged. I'm a Big Fan of Hoka now!!!!

I love Hoka and wore 6 pairs of Stinson 4/5/6 when Walking Across America on the American Discover Trail in 2017-2019 - 5094 miles. They worked out perfectly for me with the best comfort/least blisters - after disappointments with Merrell and Keen. I've sold a lot of Hoka One One in my testimonies to others. However, on leg 2 in walking across northern Illinois last week on the northern route of the ADT, the right shoe toe box caused serious rubbing/on top of foot and the toes (will be losing two toenails at least). I had a used pair of Stinson 6 along that was not planned to be used due to the below freezing temps but had to be to avoid total stoppage with the damage from these Tennine Hike shoes. It is what it is - and I hate returning something - but these will not work for me. I'll end up getting another pair of Hokas but will now try out in a store first to confirm sufficient toe box clearance.
I'd also recommend:
None. I like Hoka.

Yesterday I sent my review of purchase from your company.
Exactly speaking the top side of my foot is a little bit high.
I don't know how much it is high.
Because I don't have a professional knowledge about the standard of foot width or height of foot.
I am sending it again today in case the contents I sent yesterday might cause a misunderstanding. I hope there is no misunderstanding.
The quality of your product is good, of course every good has pros and cons.
I felt a lot of discomfort because my shoe width were narrow to my feet. That's it.

Comfortable hiking boot, best comfort I-had on any hiking boot, unfortunately the sole came apart on a recent hiking trip in the sierras. The sole delaminated on a 20 mile trekking hike. I would no recommend this boot for serious backpacking expeditions.

Absurd to the point of impracticality. I get that Hoka is really trying to push the boundaries, but this goes too far. These are 20% larger than a normal hiking boot. My size 11's looked like an extra wide size 15. The sole is extremely wide and long, so much that the shoe comes with a WARNING not to drive or walk up or down stairs. I mean, come on. Sure, these would theoretically afford a more stable hike but not if you're on a platform so absurdly oversized as to be unnatural. I was willing to give these a chance despite the laughable aesthetics given the favorable reviews elsewhere online, but I wore them around the house and found no benefit to the larger design. I have Hokas for running and the extra size affords extra comfort and cushion in the step; not with these. It's just bulk. Sorry, very nice concept but overdone.

I was apprehensive about this purchase due to the expense but after nearly two weeks of everyday use these shoes are worth every penny! I never want to take these off. They align my entire kinetic chain putting my entire body into alignment from the soles of my feet, through the ankles, knees, hips, lower back, spine and shoulders. I stand up straighter, I stand taller, and my entire body feels better. These shoes are firing muscles that were previously under active so now I feel stronger and more fit from our walks/hikes. Also they are amazing in sand. Think snow shoe. I will be a repeat customer.

Hands down the best shoe I have worn. I work security and am on my feet for long hours. I have tried so many brands and styles, these take the prize. Incredibly comfortable, great quality, and design. Very impressive product, kudos to the designers and thank you for making such a high quality shoe.
