They wore down prematurely. It wasn’t even 2 months they started sinking and throwing me off balance. Also ankle pain started and could no longer wear.

I didn't really start to feel it until I had wore the shoes on a few hikes but despite how comfortable the soles are on this shoe there are some problems with its design. For one the toe box is tiny and causes rubbing. The angle that the shoe is frankly too steep for any continuous downhill walking as your feet will tend to but the bulk of your weight at the front of your foot and on to your toes which. This additionally causes rubbing on the poorly designed toe box. I feel like if you are just walking flat surfaces and need a little extra traction this shoe is not bad but this shoe is not capable of fairly easy hikes.

Sized bigger than a regular size 9 and wider, i would not purchase this shoe again, not as much cushion as i expected. Not worth the price of this shoe , i have worn much better trail shoes, also they lose grip on wet surfaces
I'd also recommend:
Salomon speedcross 4

Nice looking shoe that I use for walking about 5 miles a day. I ordered the widest shoe possible in this style however it wasn't wide enough in the toe box. The base of the shoe wasn't wide enough which made my big toe hurt all the way down to the base of my foot. My toe felt like it was hanging on the side of the shoe since my foot was wider than soles. Because there is no support there my toe was in pain every time I use these shoes. Basically not only has to be a stretchy material but the base of the soul Hass to be wider around the toebox to be considered a wide shoe. The only companies I've seen do a good job at this our new balance in ASICS in my opinion. However hookah does have great cushioning so I wish they would make wider shoes. I hope Hoka makes 4e shoes instead of 2e if their shoes run narrow.

These shoes just didn't work. There was a dead spot one the outside of the shoe that caused no shock absorption for the small toes.

I really like the color scheme but had to return the shoe because the toe box is not as wide as the previous model of Challenger ATR 5.

I bought a pair on July 2nd, and as of July 15th the seams on both uppers are coming apart. I called customer service and bounced around the phone tree until choosing the option to speak to a representative. That choice hung up on me. I've texted and still awaiting a response. I didn't expect this experience from the Hoka brand, hopefully it's just a case of "when it rains it pours" and Hoka will redeem their customer service for me.

The shoe overall length was true to size. I have been running in the Challenger AT5 The previous year‘s model, and the AT6 has a larger toebox and is wider across the instep. The shoe was too wide for me and lacked overall support in the foot box area as well as the height of the heel cup being short. The overall fit for a trail running shoe was very loose in comparison to the previous year‘s model.

Version 5 was the perfect wide. Especially in the toe box. The new version -in wide- has a significantly narrower toe box. Unwearable if you are a true EE width or looking for a wider tow box.

I returned three pairs of shoes under NA12829794. I was refunded for one pair of shoes but I'm now being told something that makes no sense as to why I was not refunded for the other two pairs. This is frustrating.

Tried walking on a track with these and found that they are not what I'm needing because they are too flat. And it feels like my feet are sliding from side to side. I will be returning

I was very surprised that the product didn't look or perform like it was built up to in the description. The color was supposed to be red and it wasn't vibrant like in the photos at all.

My first pair were wides ee, and they were great. This pair said they were double e, but they were not. I even put the soles up against my other pair and you could see the old pair were a few centimeters wider. I tried to speak to someone but gave up after not being able to get someone live. I really like the brand and might try again

Love the feel of these shoes but I've been wearing them for less than a month and the rubber on the soles is peeling off. I paid way too much for these shoes to be breaking down already

I returned two of these shoes because the size was not labelled correctly I believe. I ordered a 9.5 wide shoe and immediately returned it for a 10wide for which I actually had little hope would fit. It was much too large and probably silly of me to have tried. In any event, I've never had this experience with the many Hokas I have ordered over the years.

This shoe is not anatomically shaped, and thus is very uncomfortable, it was too wide in the heel, and way too narrow in the mid foot and got even worse in the toe box.

I ordered a pair of shoes, tried them on and decided against them. I wanted to send them back for another more expensive pair, so I sent the shoes back. They said I couldn't exchange them and charged me $13 to try on a pair of shoes. What a rip off.

After my Challenger 5 lasted nearly 3 years before breaking down, I was confident that I would be buying these exclusively for the foreseeable future. I've been wearing the challenger 6 for about a month now and the outsole is already peeling away from the sole in multiple spots. I walk a lot on flat ground at work, but haven't done anything that would have caused damage. Even still, for the price tag, I would expect them to withstand anything I threw at them like my last pair. I reached out to customer service who apologized and said they would pass my experience on without offering a solution. Neither the product or the experience have not been what I would expect from a premium price tag. I wouldn't buy these shoes again, and question if I will do business with Hoka at all in the future.

Shoes are comfortable and look great but my left toe squeaks when walking. I thought it was just a defect on this one pair so I swapped them out and after a couple's days the new pair has the same problem. Super strange problem I've never had with any other shoes. I still love Hoka but will be swapping these out for another style.

The shoes are fine but don't purchase from the website unless you know the exact size. I purchased two pairs and need a refund. Followed the instructions and no refund. Hoka doesn't refund and there is no response from customer service.
