I have a goal of hiking at a different state park each weekend. I have chronic pain, and own 2 pair of the Bondi 7 (one for home; one for the office!), and a pair of Gaviotta 3's, I knew Hoka was the place for trail shoes. I'm old, slow, and clumsy. But not wearing these! They perform better than I expected. Super grip, excellent response, and stability my feet rely on. The cushioning is phenomenal. Anyone with chronic foot, ankle, hip, and back pain should wear Hokas.
Also? The first time I walked in a pair of Hokas, I felt like I was a professional athlete wearing custom made shoes! These shoes will change your life for the better!

I usually break my shoes in before wearing them on long hikes, but this time since I've had so many Hoka's before I decided to do a day hike through Yosemite Falls first time wearing them. I love this shoe. I have my big hiking boots, but sometimes I'd rather not have so much shoe. Especially for 5 miles and under in the summer. These are the ones. Perfect for short or long trail hikes. I got them wet, and wore them during an 8 mile hike, and my feet weren't hurting at the end of the day. Everything else hurt after the 12 mile hike the day before, but the feet were A OK. Oh, and I love how they look. I do think I'll invest in an orthotics sole to give it a little more arch and cushion. I have a very high arch.

I've been wanting a Hoka shoe that is:
1: Waterproof
2: Vibram sole ( non slippery or squeaky when I walk on wet surfaces) the other hoka that I have tend to squeak and not have the grip like these do
3: Plush cushion for all day wear
All three aspects are fantastic I tend to have a wider feet so anyone with wider feet will love these
I'm a k-9 handler so I need a tough wearing shoe that can handle all sort of terrain- from cement to wet grass and rocky surfaces and my feet or legs are not sore from a 11-12 hour day.
Unfortunately I may have to return for half a size smaller- length tends to be a bit more than my other hoka's - this might be to allow hikers that extra toe space when walking down hill.

I am 300 lbs and had been suffering arthritis in my knees and ankles. Plantar fasciitis in my foot and sciatic nerve pain. Went to my orthopedic and he raved about his HOKA. I am a nurse who work 12 hour shifts. These shoes have saved my career. I've gone from bent over to standing up straight and almost running. I love my HOKAs. My husband now wear them too.

I honestly feel like I'm walking on clouds. The insane amount of support does make me feel a bit old but I'm on my feet 5-6 days a week. So it's worth it.

I bought these shoes and used them immediately on a hiking trip. I am so happy with the fit and the comfort, I used them 5 days in a row on varying terrain. They have great traction, and great toe room. Thanks!

I work 11hr shifts, I'm always in my feet standing walking lots of walking and standing. These are sooooo great and light weight and the comfort is amazing. I already have 2 pair of sneakers from them and 1 pair was a work sneaker and those are amazing. I love the chunky heel, i can't wear flat shoes cause they hurt my feet so these are great. Worth the money

Large footprint provides excellent grip walking across steep terrain. Also up and downhill. Laces are a bit long. Great grip while climbing on shoreline rip rap rocks. Toe cap works well with motorcycle shift lever.

My 57-year-old knees and feet love these shoes. They fit true to size or slightly big - I'm wearing two liner socks with them. I was worried that I would topple over on the trail from the extra height, but that's not the case. I'm glad I discovered them at my age - they make hiking on rocks comfortable. They Vibram soles are a must for wet rock. Another plus is Hoka's customer service. I can honestly say it's some of the best I've ever experienced. My girlfriend had to return her pair to Hoka for a different size, and she couldn't get the fit right, so they gave her a credit after two attempts, and they were extremely helpful and let me use the credit to buy these. Now we are both happy.

Without these hokas I would not be able to hike. I love the extra plushness and they save my feet from plantar fasciitis.

I'm a huge fan of Hoka and living in the PNW I needed something water resistant and trail worthy. These fit the bill perfectly. I'm extremely happy with these shoes. I took them out day one for a 6 mile hike through mud and puddles and they did not disappoint and my feet stayed DRY! Since switching to Hoka shoes my heel pain has been less and less. I generally wear a size 12 but they only have this shoe in up to 11 so I took a chance and they ended up working just fine.

In my experience hoka runs 1/2 size too big. Its my 3rd pair and this model I went to a 7.5 and it's a perfect fit. I'm an 8 otherwise. This new model had great traction, it's very comfortable and has enough cushiness to absorb shock with a full pack. Highly recommend

I like the wide footprint. The outer material is too thick, rubberish material around toe is coming off. Shoe laces are stiff and too long.
The Stinson ATR 6 are my favorite shoe.

These rock! I called Hoka One One before I bought to learn which of their hiking boots had the widest toe bed and they recommended the Kaha. I had no idea hiking boots could be this comfortable! I love all my Hokas and now am even more dedicated to Hoka. I had a bunion on the left foot and a toe issue on the right --and these shoes don't trouble my feet at all. My feet are comfortable and the cushioning is fantastic. I'm happy!
