Nice, very comfortable and stylish shoes. I bought these and a pair of HOKA Clifton 8. The only problem with the HOKA ONE ONE MACH 4 is the tongue, which is not cushioned and it rubs against the front of my ankles, making it unbearable. It has a straight cut, compared to a semicircular one the Hoka Clifton 8, features. I am returning the MACH 4 pair, unfortunately, because otherwise they are soft and very cushioned.

I’m a heel striker and I run 10-20 miles per week. These shoes are exactly what I was looking for. I love the “spring” they add to my step. Hopefully they add more color options in the future.

I love the style of this shoe, the width is perfect for my narrow feet and the sole and footbed are extremely comfortable. However, the tongue is huge, very hard and it digs into my legs/ankles. I walked around for 5 minutes in my house and it was unbearable digging into my ankle. I have a petite frame and tiny ankles, which makes this even stranger. How do people with normal size ankles wear these???? I really wanted to love these! So disappointed. Sadly, I had to return them. I ended up sticking with Ye Ole Faithful ASICS.

I waited to review these until I was sure about the fit and function. Unlike most people I supinate walking to the outside of my shoes. I’ve known forever this issue was causing problems with my knees which are now in really bad shape. This is not due only to exercise but to general wear and tear and age. I found Hoka by shear accident and Lordy I wish it had been sooner. These shoes are GREAT. They correct my gait and literally correct my step and I haven’t a clue how they do it but I’m sure it’s not my imagination. The wear pattern after 5 months shows no abnormal wear neither pronation nor supination. Upshot here is they are worth every penny and would recommend the shoes to anyone without hesitation.

I bought a size 9 in this style and normally wear an 8.5 in boots and other dress shoes. The 9 is a perfect fit since I usually go up a half size in Brooks athletic shoes, and a full size in Nikes. They are very comfortable and help with heel pain I was having. Could they be better looking?? Definitely! I don’t care for the large Hoka logo or the funny looking sole in the back, but the comfort makes up for it. I bought mine in Black so they are less noticeable.

I have searched and searched for a pair of comfortable tennis shoes for so long. I’m so thankful a friend told me about these. I wear them long hours standing at work and they’re perfect!

Thought i had found the perfect shoe finally after two years of looking but the tongue comes up too high and puts pressure on my instep and caused pain and the heel slipped a lot so they have to be returned. So disappointed.

I absolutely love these sneakers. The color is so pretty in person and they feel incredible on my feet. I have very high arches so there could be even more support in my case, but they are light as air and very comfortable right out of the box. The tongue does not bother my ankle at all like it does for some other people, I never notice it! I also have narrow feet and these shoes are quite narrow, so they fit great for me, but I would try them in person or get the wider size if you have wide feet just to make sure you enjoy the fit. I highly recommend these shoes overall and will be buying more!

I'm so happy with these shoes. I tried to get them direct from the Hoka site as I normally do but they were on backorder for a month. I was worried that they weren't really in stock at Zappos but received them 2-3 days later. I was SHOCKED and thrilled!! They were also a dollar cheaper on Zappos. I will always check Zappos before I purchase from anywhere else. Thank you Zappos!

Third pair of Hoka One Ones and have not been disappointed or uncomfortable in the Mach 4 or previous models. I bought medium and they fit my wider toe bed fine.
