I got these in black in 38 (I am a true 38), and these run a bit small. They are pretty cute and the foot bed itself is fairly comfortable, but the edge of the arch actually cut/poked into the arch of my right foot which meant they were unwearable. Also - and really surprising for the price point - is that the black leather is so stiff and rough it would have literally cut my skin on the medial side of the foot had I worn them for any length of time. The leather also made it hard to even buckle the straps and the straps would likely cause blisters as well. Papillio is disappointing so far. I am thankful for Zappos return policy!

The strap at the top is stiff and cuts into my skin. I will not be able to wear this long-term because I would suffer from blisters and peeled skin.

I love these shoes I purchased multiple pairs in different colors, they are so cute with jeans and capri pants for the summer plus they give me a little height. I haven’t had a pair of Papillio’s for 3 years I was so happy to find them I wore my old ones forever the cork footbed makes them extremely comfortable.

These shoes were very comfortable out of the box. The leather straps are soft and the style is nice. The platform added comfort to the already cushioned footbed. Highly recommend.

I like the shoes, they are too wide in the upper/front area of the shoe for my foot.

These are extremely comfortable. I suffer from heel/arch pain and can wear these pain free. The arch support is excellent. They look great with everything. I’m on my feet at work all day and this shoe gets me through my day. Good for late spring, summer, fall months.

Super comfortable. If you like birks, you will like the fit & arch support.

Absolutely love these sandals. The first time I purchased them I had to return them because I got the wrong size. This time I got it right. I am glad I tried again because they're very cute and go very well with dresses, jeans, shorts, anything!

Size and fit is perfect (41) usual Birkenstock size. I got these in 3 colors, beautiful. Simple, elegant style. The canvas fabric in 2 colors I purchased that crosses the toe area is very comfortable. But the Sandcastle Nubuck fabric over the toes is rough underneath on the edge where it touches the toes. I like the color so I will wear a bandaid where it scratches. Good fit on all three though.

I’m a consistent 9.5 M but a Birkenstock food bed is wide on me, I ordered the narrow. I plan to wear these with casual dresses and ankle pants, love the extra height I get plus the jute look. Best of all, my bunion is hidden and comfortable!

I absolutely love these shoes! They are so cute and super comfortable. I love that they have the comfort of my Birkenstock Arizona’s, yet can be dressier. I almost didn’t order them because I thought they would be too narrow, but after reading some of the other reviews, I crossed my fingers and ordered them. I’m so glad I did-they fit perfectly!

This is a perfect summer shoe! Fits great, just like a Birkenstock should. Super comfy the minute I put them on.

The fit was fine but the part that covers below the toes rubs and I knew walking in them for any length of time would create a blister.

I really liked these sandals but unfortunately my right foot has been broken and the shoe's ridge hit that spot. They were super cute but hurt my foot. I will be returning them.

These were cuter than expected. The problem was that the upper foot strap was too large or stretched out. One strap also felt bigger than the other. I do have a fairly 'low volume' or flat upper foot (in the toe box area) so maybe this style would work better for a person with a more fuller or wider foot.

The shoes felt very stiff. For the high price tag, i wanted to love them. Sadly they are going back.

These are beautiful shoes, look great, fit fine but I had such a hard time getting the buckle fastened. I am afraid I just can't wear buckled shoes. Will have to return.

Really cute sandals but they only fit one of my two feet, alas. They definitely run on the narrow-medium side, and I’m on the medium-wide side with a slight bunion on one foot that makes them wider on that side and my toes didn’t go all the way through the strap in a flattering way. They’re super comfortable and seem well made so I’d recommend them as a daily sandal for someone with a narrower food and no bunions.

Narrow means narrow! If you have a wide foot, it will spill over the edges and the arch will dig into the side of your foot. Sadly I had to return them. Beautiful style, I wish they made them in a regular footbed.

I've been looking for sandals for an upcoming trip to Italy and these were very cute and comfortable. However, the way my right foot fit into the right heel made a little suction sound with every step. I know this will drive me nuts so I'm returning them.

This shoe was too wide for my narrow foot. I liked the feel of the soft leather, but wasn't happy with the sizing. I don't think a smaller size would fix the issue with the width, so sadly I'm returning.

I wish the strap across the toes could be adjusted. It’s too loose on my foot so I will have to send the shoes back. So hard to find shoes that fit.
