this is the original all-leather Florida...no birki-flor, textile lining, etc. hard to find any more as they are more expensive, but they are better made and will last longer. wish Zappo's would carry more of the all leather Birkenstock's like this.

In addition to the neutral color, I love the soft footbed and the three straps! I have narrow, bony feet. The narrow width, soft footbed and 3rd strap (the one closest to my ankle) hold my foot securely and comfortably when I walk. I did have to have extra holes punched in the 3rd strap (the one closest to my ankle), and the strap trimmed. The leather straps are durable and thick (yet soft and comfy) so get a professional to punch extra holes; don’t try to do it yourself. I did not need any break-in time.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks ever! And they are amazing - absolutely live up to the hype! They did take a few days to break in, were a bit stiff and ill-fitting at first but really molded to my foot pretty quickly. I bought 1 size smaller than I thought I needed. I have a rather wide foot (for a woman) and normally wear 8-8.5 (occasionally 9 if the shoe is narrow). I ALMOST bought size 39 (8-8.5, 250mm per Birkenstock’s website), then read the reviews and changed my mind. My foot measures 240-242mm, so between size 37 and 38 (per Birkenstock’s website - don’t look at Zappo’s size chart, it’s a little off, go to the Birkenstock website and look at their size chart - if you have access to a printer they also have a printable size chart that really helps). So after a lot of deliberation, I decided to buy size 38 (7-7.5, 245mm) regular/wide width. I fully expected to have to return for a larger size (I’ve never been able to fit into 7-7.5 shoes!!), but size 38 regular/wide was PERFECT! Glad I didn’t buy size 37 (6-6.5, 240mm), even though my foot measured closer to 240mm than 245mm - it would have been too small. Also glad I didn’t buy the narrow/regular width (even though my foot was pretty close to middle-of-the-road width according to Birkenstock’s size chart). So if you’re new to Birkenstock, go to their website to look at the size chart and use a tape measurer (and/or printer)! If sized properly, these sandals are pretty amazing. I haven’t taken them off since receiving a few days ago!!

The Florida Fresh is actually very nice! I would have kept it except for the fact that this was the Regular fit (I ordered this Regular fit bc the narrow wasn’t available anymore in this color, hoping I could make it work for my narrow feet), and hence it was too wide for me. I’ve learned that I should stick to the narrow fit; that there is a noticeable difference. I’ve since ordered another pair in a different color. Everything else about this sandal was perfect! I love the soft footbed, color, fast shipping and website (including customer questions is great).

I love these sandals like i do my other Birkenstocks Ive purchased with you. Stylish and very comfy!!

Not sure the soft footbed is any more comfortable than the original. I’ve had many Birkenstock shoes and sandals in several sizes. Seemed smaller in length and width. Tops of my feet are sensitive to the buckle staples on this pair, where that’s never been an issue before. I do like the look on my feet.

I bought the 9N. For reference, in Clark’s I wear a 9.5N in sandals and they fit IF they are adjustable. I could wear these on the smallest notch but I thought they kind of looked like I was wearing my mom’s shoes. I have really narrow feet, 4A in dress shoes. I bought the Newcastle color. I also have really pale skin and I think a darker color would have looked better. I thought the styling was good. They were what you would expect from birks. If they had fit better I would have kept them.

Since I’ve been working from home, my feet have been killing me when I stand up after laying down. I looked online and it seems like it’s plantar fasciitis, just from being barefoot most of the time (I have flat feet). I ordered these and the arch support is amazing. Cant wait to break them in and wear them around the house, and out and about. I wear a size 10 in regular shoes, usually a size 11 in sneakers/running shoes (and an 11 Narrow in Brooks running shoes). After measuring my foot in millimeters and consulting the size guide on Birkenstock’s site, I ordered an 11 Narrrow (42 Narrow), and they fit perfectly- if anything, maybe a little small but I know my foot will settle in the footbed over time. i don’t consider my foot narrow by any means, but you can see on Birkenstock’s site that the longer the shoe, the wider it gets. I definitely recommend busting out the tape measure, especially if it’s your first pair of Birks in a while!

I used to buy Birkis from Birkenstock as they were a better fitting woman's sandal and I loved the colors and styles. These are the closest soft sole ones I can find from Birkenstock that fit almost as well.

These fit great and I really like the color..they will be great this summer . Birkenstock so good for my plantar fasciitis .

Size was perfect and you know you need new shoes when your feet start to hurt!

Birkenstock sandals are comfortable as long as I order the NARROW even tho I'm at least a B width or wider. These came USED, so I had too return them!

I have been wearing this style of Birks for close to 10 years. When I saw the "sales price" I couldn't pass them up. Great color & perfect fit.

I love Birkenstock and this is the first pair I’ve gotten in a long while. I usually where a size 9 US but I always order a EU size 39 and they fit me perfectly.

My second pair of Floridas. I will never order non-soft footbed Birkenstocks again! I Love the soft footbed.

Size was perfect but the sandal was too wide. Zappos didn’t have a narrow in my size for this style so I had to do a return. Zappos service was exceptional as always!
