These shoes are very supportive and cushy. I think they run a little bit big but it's doable. Not sure I love the speed laces but I guess they can be handy overall and glad I got them.

Every body and foot is different, so take everyone's reviews with a grain of salt and try on a bunch of runners before you buy. (I don't know why I have to say this, but after reading negative reviews it only seems like the shoe wasn't a good fit, doesn't necessarily warrant 1 star reviews...) I tried on about 15 pairs of trail runners and these felt like they were made for me. They've been comfortable on long trail runs since day 1 and have amazing support for my weak arthritic feet. I don't find that the bulkiness gets in the way while dodging roots and rocks, which was an initial concern. The only downside to my experience is that they're like ice skates when walking/running on snow. I know it's not what they're made for, but I assumed that the tread on the bottom would assist in wintery conditions. I went for a hike in these in soft snow and I slid down the entire mountain. I took my dog for a walk in soft snow on flat ground and slipped onto my butt 10 times. Not advised for anybody looking for a shoe that they can wear in winter.

Shoe offers a lot of support. Very comfortable. I recently started wearing shoe inserts for a foot problem so I bought a half size up. The shoe is still narrow. I should have bought a full size up.

Excellent but slighlty tighter than I expected in the front.

Great grip in the snow and on the rocks Light and comfortable. My only complaint is, I'm not a fan of the shoe lace type. Others may really like that.

I like the shoe, lots of cushioning but a little heavy and runs small. I wear an 8 in all my running shoes and it seems like all the trail runners I would need a 1/2 size up. Sad...

More cushion than I'm used to, but I like it. The shoe does run a little small or maybe just a tighter fit (height wise) in the toe. I ordered my normal size and it's ok--but do have a bruise on my toe nail d/t the fit.

My first try at trail shoes with Asics. I really love this shoe. The lace system is interesting. I like that it is sleek and faster than the traditional tie. I dont like that my heel seems to slip a little, even when as tight as it can comfortably be. It just tightens more on the top of my foot. Maybe another eyelet would solve this problem in the bext version. The ride was comfortable on a mostly dirt trail. Felt secure when treading over tree roots. Looking forward to more miles, but first impression was great

Have enjoyed these so far. They have high cush which is great for my metatarsal pain. Nice fit, nice colors!!!! I purchased in 1/2 size bigger per reviews that I read and they work great for me. I am a 5 mile a day walker not a runner.....

Shoe is stable, comfortable for all day use and grips well on the trail.

Once these shoes are on my feet, I absolutely love them! Great feel and traction! They are difficult for me to get on, though, with the lacing system (and I do love the concept).

The size I ordered is my usual Asics size, but these shoes are shorter than average.

Sizing was way too small compared to all the other ASICS I am used to.

Great colors and material. This particular style runs small. I am ususlly an 8.5. It was too tight on the front of the foot.

Tight across the top due to lacing system. This makes it hard to put on shoes as you can't loosen lacrs up enough. Bit disappointed.

They are really comfortable. I was going to use them for winter running this year ice/snow but they were too small and I ordered an 11. I am an 11 in all other running shoes. Not sure what happened with this one. They are really thick at the bottom, not sure if that is safe for trail running. high support/comfort.

Well cushioned. Awesome colors. Not true to size, I ordered a size up and it's still a little too snug.

Comfortable, but only after wearing them a few times. Really hard to get on initially, really tight and narrow and the laces are a pain in the neck, they have a slider instead of normal laces...I would NEVER have purchased these if I'd known that, they in NO WAY make things easier. The only reason I gave 3stars instead of 2 is that they turned out to be comfortable after wearing them on and off for about a week, but when I first got them, I needed a shoe horn to even get them on (with ASICS socks btw)

They aren't waterproof all the way through like I thought. I was looking for a trail shoe I could go in a puddle with. If you get on the top part of the shoe it is mesh and totally porous. Also, it runs quite small. I've worn a lot of shoes from Asics and these are smaller than their standard size.
