You should include that this shoe does not have a gusseted tongue to keep debris out.

Can't go wrong with ASICS. They fit my feet great. No complaints. I love the bright pink color with the blue.

I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 and in ASICS I always wear a nine. These trail shoes are light and super comfortable. Very happy with these. Went on a 6 mile hike as soon as I got them and they felt great!

I have bought the Gel-Sonomas, exclusively, for my workout/hiking shoes for the last several years. They have nice tread, fit my narrow feet well, and are reasonably priced. I only give it a 4/5 (instead of 5/5) because I think the insoles used to have better arch support. This may be better for me but not for others. Still like the shoes a lot, overall.
Also, a mistake was made in shipping this last order and I was sent 2 identical pairs.

Ran my first Spartan 5k Sprint in these in Monterey, CA. Loved them! Didn't slip once on the trail up or downhill! Still look good after the mudpit too! So, they seem to hold up well to water for short periods of time from my own experience.

I love my ASICS GEL-Sonoma® 5, so I bought these. They are about 3/4" narrower across the toes. May not sound like much, but it is the difference between snug and painful. I had to return them

Very stylish (I like the contrasting bold colors —such as orange against black, like this style). And on sale! However, the laces are the thinner cotton style (not rounded). And there is not a lot of padding in the bed. Should have stuck with my typical stabilizing shoe! Too late to take back so will probably make use of them in the garden. The tread design on the bottom allows for easy dirt/mud removal….

I previously wore Gel Sonoma for several years. They made a change to the overall style, eliminating the tongue and substituting an elastic stretch piece. This is ridiculously difficult to get on and very uncomfortable compared to previously. A disappointment.

I am keeping the Asics Noosa Tri 13. They are very comfortable!
