Got my regular size and could barely get my foot in. It was sooo tight at the ball of the foot where the shoelaces start. Used to be an asics girl but feel like they changed the footbed...not deep enough for me anymore. Sad

I really wanted to like these, but I have to return them. I have very narrow feet, but the toe box on these is SUPER narrow and pinchy. Too bad, otherwise they were great!

Well my measured foot size was 24.1 cm, and then I wanted to have some gap between my toes and the front of the shoe so accordingly I ordered an 8 size ( I also checked the size chart from Asics' official website) and it's fits perfectly. In regards to width of the shoe, I was a little concerned that it is tight fit, however that doesn't seem to be the case. The shoe colour looks exactly as shown in the pictures. And the running experience with this shoe has been great !

I want these for walking my dog and other light workouts. I usually get Nike but they haven’t had enough arch support in the last pit or two. I took a chance and ordered these. I’m so glad I did! My knees and hips don’t bother me and there’s is no need to break them all. Can’t beat the price either.

I am a huge fan of ASICS and have been wearing them for years. This is my third pair of GEL Excite and the newest version didn’t disappoint. The fit has remained consistent, the shoe is comfortable, and it is reasonably priced. Love the pale pink!

These are horrible! I previously wore the Gel-Excite 7 and loved them! These felt tight at first, but since they were the same exact style (albeit, apparently new and improved) I assumed they just needed to be broken in a bit. Well it's been 3 weeks and by the end of my shift my feet are killing me. These feel at least a 1/2 size smaller, more narrow, and less toe box room. I also kept wondering why my heels were red as well as the sides of my feet where you tie the laces. I got out my old ones and noticed they made the heel back a lot taller, so it's rubbing my heel where there's not a sock (I wear the low socks but this never happened w/my old ones). They also made the area where each side of the shoe comes together to tie your lace on top, bigger and taller, which cuts into my foot. I wish I would've noticed all of this before I wore them, because unfortunately I probably can't exchange them for a different Asics style. Just took them off after a 10 hour day and my feet are red from being rubbed too tight in all those areas. I'm really bummed about this. Other than that, they're a great looking tennis shoe w/scrub pants.

Amazing! These Asics fit so well...the comfort is beyond anything I've felt in a while! I wear a 5 or 5.5 and often times get kids sneakers. I bought these in a 5.5 and the fit is great! I walk alot, 3-4 miles a day, and they have been amazing!

Super cute shoes with a roomy toe box. Fit nicely, have used in the gym and running indoors/outdoors

Ordered in 10.5 B…regular shoe size is 10 B, but I get a 1/2 step up in ASICS. I’ve been wearing ASICS GEL-Excite 7 quite awhile, and they are getting a bit worn and dirty. As a walker, I also want to make sure to maintain adequate cushioning, as this helps my knees immensely. The Excite 8’s fit very much like my 7’s, and the toe box is similarly roomy in width with about 3/8” of room at the toe. As reviews mention, the tongue of this shoe is now tapered narrower at top, and it feels fine to me. I took note of other reviews mentioning the Excite 8 shoelaces are too short, but this was not my experience at all. Pics compare the Pink Excite 7’s and show my Excite 8’s.

This is the second pair of these shoes thought I’ve bought and I love them. I wear one pair for walking and the other for Jazzercise. They have a great balance between support and flexibility and they are so very comfortable to wear. I love these shoes.

Very comfortable and true to size. The lasses are a little short but it’s okay. Nice color and very airy.

Great shoe for everyday wear-have been wearing this style for several years and have several colors. Very comfortable all day. I wear a size 7 in street shoes/sandals but I wear a size 8 in this shoe. I also like the fact that the shoe does not make my foot look huge since I am a petite.

Great shoe for my workouts several times a week. The color of pink was gorgeous. These shoes always fit my feet and give me great support!! Would definately buy again.

The shoe is very comfortable, and it is reasonably priced. I love the colors and combine it with other laces of a different color.

I’ve been looking for a really comfortable walking and everyday shoe and found this style, the GEL-Excite 8 to offer comfort and support without looking huge. I have worn 9 1/2 or 20 depending on the shoe and brand. I read that these run narrow so ordered a 10 wide. They are roomy in the toe box without being sloppy (like I found in the way more pricy Altras and Topos), and heel hugging. There is good arch support in the comfortable gel like insert.

These shoes fit great. Very comfortable. The fact that the insole was removable was a plus as I needed to use insoles from my podiatrist.

I have narrow feet but not narrow enough to require Narrow width shoes. I absolutely love these Asics GEL-Excite 8 running shoes! They are narrow, support my arches well and are light weight! I love them so much I bought two pair of the black and one pair of the French Blue (dark emerald/bluecolor) so when one pair runs out, I have replacements on hand. When these are on my feet, I am comfortable and happy! My shoe size is 10.5 and I ordered 10.5 and they fit perfectly so I would say they run true to size!

Very cute, comfortable, and light weight.

I wear grey 11.5 Asics sneakers that I really like, but my left toe touches the front. I ordered the same style in a size 12 in black and they were literally NO larger. So I returned those and ordered another style, never giving up on Asics. The second size 12 that I ordered were perfect. The laces are a little short, but I have very high arches and that happens for me. So, I'm very HAPPY now! Never give up if there is a brand you like. :)

due to weather, I wore only once to run in but, 5 miles and they performed as they should.

Asics fit me perfectly. When they get here I put them on and go. No break-in, they simply fit! And I LOVE the pale pink.

I purchased these to replace my Gel-Excite 7s and I found the 8th generation to fit exactly the same. Unlike other reviewers, I didn't find them too narrow or any narrower than the previous generation shoe. These are a great, comfortable, basic shoe that I wear for everything from daily tasks to jogging. I love how simple and uncomplicated they are.

Overall these shoes are great, but I was pretty disappointed that I could no longer get them in petal pink (I had bought 2 pairs in that color before and had expected I could keep on buying them, but no). As for width, I have normal width heels but pretty wide toe box (between D-E width last time I was measured), however these medium (B) width shoes seem to fit just fine. Love how cushiony they are. But I have to say, navy blue is one of my LEAST favorite colors, so I was bummed that that was the only color available in my size at the time I was ordering.

These are a little clunky with a very wide kind of cloud like bumper around the outside but overall very comfortable. I mostly take walks outdoors in the city and they feel great on concrete/pavement. I do wish they had a slimmer look to them but since they offer great support I’ll use them.
