Good shipping and product was as advertised; the shoe itself is less than other Glycerin models; it appears cheaper and not as durable. The soles and tread appears to be thinner than other models. Its light. It's a cheaper version of other year Glycerin models. If this is the new Glycerin standard, I will consider other shoe brands, as in Saucony Triumph. Please note, I've been buying Glycerins for over 10 years and am disappointed. Sorry.

Not a good match for my feet. The cushioning on the Brooks Glycerin 19 is not as good as the 17 or the 18. I returned the Brooks Glycerin 19 and ordered the ASICS Gel Cumulus 22, and I am happy with them. I alternate days with the Hoka Bondi 7 for a super cushioned ride.

Tight fit did not feel like wide

Brooks must bring back, Glycerin 17 technology … That series was the softest cushion - brilliant technology. However, Glycerin 18 sported a harder cushion and the new Glycerin 19… Well, what can I say… Not a fan! They may have “added cushion” but it’s hard as a rock so I will be returning it. So, basically, “no thank you”

Great update. This is the softest Glycerin by far. They completely changed the midsole this year. The cushion feels more like a Hoka than a Brooks. The toe box is wider than the last model and the material is softer and stretches more. True to size, if this is your first Brooks, I suggest buying your larger size if you're in between.

Narrower toe box than Glycerin 18 :-(

I have purchased the last 6 editions of the Glycerin, dating back to the 13 (maybe even the 12). all size 11, 2E. I add a customized orthotic. same orthotic, though I felt like I was swimming in these 11 2E's . returned for 10.5 which fit. odd, but ... that is the story. love the shoe -- general all around, walking and elliptical use (~1500-2000 miles - I usually buy 2 and switch back and forth)

After running 10 miles in these my feet have become very sore. Almost as if they are running on the pavement rather than cushion

Brooks why did you do this? The Glycerin 17 and 18 were both works of perfection. This new incarnation is of seriously poor quality. After only 2 weeks the support was gone and the bottoms were flattened and stretched out from use. 2 weeks! I am testing out the Ghost 13 and they are a slight improvement. These used to be my go-to sneakers but I may have to start from scratch.

I am a Brooks fan and have been running in the Glycerin for years now. I am 72 and my feet have gotten wider so I buy the wide version. Took these for a run a couple times already and am very happy with the fit and feel. Just ordered a second pair in a different color. As always, I am very happy to get these delivered so fast. I am male, 5’9” and 160 lbs. I run outdoors and treadmill year round.

not wide enough

I have had brooks for years and this pair has given me blisters on both of my feet. I have had the Glycerin before also! What is up with this pair? What is the return policy?

I always wear a 10 1/2 but that size was too small. The 11 felt perfect like a 10 1/2. I would recommend ordering a half size larger than normal.

This shoe gets great reviews and appears well made. Unfortunately I found the shoe to be a bit narrow compared to other shoes in the same size (and slightly less generous in the toe box) so I went with the Ghost 13.

The heel collar on this shoe is the worst of any shoe I've ever tried. It is too high and shaped so that it rubs the back of your heel.

Had high hopes for these, however like other reviewers have stated they are too narrow. Even the wife feels too tight on my arches and was very painful after a short 1 mile trial run. Hoping to a better Brooks shoe in 2022

Glycerin 17 was wonderful. This one is not. Toe box not wide enough nor high enough. Shoe is a half size shorter.

Absolutely do not buy if you have a profound/predominant achilles area. The heel tab on these shoes is extremely stiff and hard and will annihilate your achilles leaving a massive blister. In addition, the second flaw is that the toe box is narrower than previous models. Long story short... I have worn the Glycerin 13, 14, 15, 16, and the 17. The 17's twice, in fact, because the 18 has both of these awful design flaws as the 19's do. The Glycerin models 13-17 I never had any issues with. I ran several miles in the 18's and the heel tab completely annihilated my achilles area and the toe box was more narrow than previous models and I wore a wide size. I ran one mile with the 19's and the heel tab immediately began chewing up my skin. I thought maybe the 19's would improve with this flaw, but no. For the life of me, I cannot understand why Brooks would change this element of their incredible Glycerin models of the past. I have a race this week and bought these shoes to maximize results. I'll just have to wear my worn down 17's. Never again will I buy shoes from Brooks which is too bad because I thought I'd forever be wearing the Glycerin's and even recommended them to friends all the time. Listen up Brooks!... fix these sadistic heel tabs and don't make your shoes narrower than they were in previous models. And clearly I am not the only one with complaints with this shoe as a loyal Glycerin customer of the past. I gave two stars because the design is great and offers nice high arch support. If you don't have a wide tow box and profound achilles area, you'll probably be okay.

This is the third Glycerin i have purchased. The 17 & 18 fit well. These, the 19s, feel narrow for my right foot, almost to the point where my toes start to tingle at about the mile and a half mark.

I have never had an issue with Brooks shoes until now. Got my first pair in 2012. These shoe rub the back of my ankle into blisters.

Shoe gives me blisters Obove my heal. The seam is way to hard!
