These shoes are every good as things I've read. These are comfortable and the fit is pretty snug. I've only run a total of about an hour in them so far, they feel great. I spray painted my shoes black at the bottom to muddle the brightness. I like them much better !

These shoes provide the cushioning and energy return I was looking for. I wish there were other color choices.

Shoes bought for my husband. He had a pair of Trabuca that was over a year old so bought this Trabuca Max. He says they are Very comfortable and cushioning. He did have to return the size 13 he always wears a 13 and get a size 14. So order a size up as these run small.

Very comfortable, good grip but not too much grip, everything I was looking for. If they made these in gore-tex I'd never wear another shoe.

I Like this shoe and have gone thru several pairs. Unfortunately, the quick lace system has been problematic lately. On one pair the lace came apart at the top the first time I tried them on. I sent those back right away. This last pair was fine for about two weeks before the lace gave away. Until recently I never had a problem with the quick lace system. The search for the perfect trail continues.

A fantastic shoe have become my favorite excellent arch support great for walking especially on trails has great grip and tread really like the colors of the shoe goes pretty much with everything I also like the lacing system and how it tucks under the material of the tongue for someone that has alignment issues this shoe really helps and my feet are never tired which in a lot of shoes at the end of the day your feet are tired great job Asics.

Best running shoe I've ever owned. I loved the Trabuco series back in the early 2010's and was sad when they were discontinued, this was the best version ever. I love the springy cushion and support. I'd wear this shoe forever if I could. I run 15 miles a week, on average. Fantastic shoe.

I have been trail running for over 20 years . Never had any ASICS. Always Salomon, La Sportiva, or Hoka. This particular pair of ASICS is a great shoe and climbs better than any other shoe I've had. That is saying a lot. I would only suggest using a lace pocket like the Sense Ultra and this shoe would be near perfect for me.

I've used these for almost 2 months while walking/running on mixed trails about 5 miles a day, and so far I'm happy. I've had no problems with the lacing system, but perhaps that's because I haven't needed to put any strain on them at all -- these shoes sort of just fit me without them, and tying them is mainly just for getting the laces out of the way. I'm glad I listened to another reviewer who indicated that this model runs a bit smaller than other Asics shoes. I recommend buying a half size up.

Liked the fit. Would have preferred a different color. Too dark for my taste.

This shoe is very comfortable and has a lot of energy return, and it looks very good. I also like the speed lacing system ASICS hit a home run with this shoe(highly recommend)

Over 500 miles through the desert on the Pacific Crest Trail. These shoes were perfect for the desert. The top mesh was breathable but not so much to let a lot of sand and dirt into the shoe. The MAX cushioning was very comfortable on the rocky trail portions. The speed lacing worked great and tucked nicely into the tongue up under my gaiters and stayed snug all day.
One issue I had was after around mile 100 the toe cap folded in and would not pop back up but it did not cause any toe issues since I had sized up my shoe size. After mile 450 I compared my Asics shoe condition (tread life and over all condition of the top of the shoe) to the large amounts of Hoka's and Altra's. My Asics still had about 50% of their tread life left while the other brands were around 25% or less tread life left. Over 700 miles in the Asics Trabuco Max and not one blister on my feet. This shoe was the dark horse on the PCT. I will continue to rely on Asics throughout my hike.

Preface: USAF/US Army DAV, multiple spine injuries & related ortho problems, work as a civilian FNP-C with a high % of veteran patients. Shoe size/support: 11.5US/neutral.
I've worn and prescribed Brooks running shoes for over 10 years and while I occasionally try different shoes, I always came back to Brooks. The Asics Trabuco Max was my most recent venture and after 260hrs in them, I can say they are the single most comfortable swiss army knife shoe I've worn to date. From heavy clinic duty/hours to FIT interval sprint training on uneven ground, the Trabuco Max has consistently performed above all expectations. Fit, true to size. Comfort, all day, even with a 30lb load over 8 hours. Heel-to-toe: slight drop, which I prefer and have found easier on my back. Grip - wet, dry, light sand, rock/gravel are all exceptional. I'm purchasing a 2nd pair and will rotate the original pair to yard/property shoes at the 12-week mark.

Amazing for 1/2 marathon. Comfortable, absorbed all the hard impacts and never felt a rock on my feet like with other shoes.

Very roomy shoe. The lacing system doesn't allow for a heal lock but I haven't had a problem. I love how the sharp rocks don't impact my foot because there's loads of Cush to protect them. Using these for the Bryce Canyon 30k in May, I'm not worried about the shoes.
