Stiffer bottom like a lifting shoe. Definitely not for running. Comes with little heel inserts which seem awesome but one of the two kept moving around in my shoe when I was mid WOD so I pulled them out.

These are some pretty cool shoes. Unfortunately all of the cushioning for these shoes is located in its very thick insole. I have to wear custom orthotics, so I have to remove those insoles. There's practically no cushioning in the actual shoe itself when the insoles are removed.

Toe box good, arch support ok, sole from arch back very rigid. Not for me, returned.

My normal size I order in Nike worked perfectly for these. This is my second pair of Metcons and these are definitely not for running (didn’t buy them for that) as so many places are advertising. These are perfect for cross training. I do boxing, CrossFit, cardio (not running), lifting, Pilates, and even sculpt and they are awesome. They have a firm bottom with really no “bounce” which is perfect for feeling grounded to the floor and quick movement.

Overall I really like the shoe but it is a half size too small and stiffer than I imagined. I hope they will break in with wear.

I ordered this in the same size as my running shoes (half a size up from regular shoes), and the toebox was much too narrow -- not at the top of the toes, where there was plenty of room to wiggle, but across the MT joints (the bottom of the toe that flexes). I swear I heard them sigh with relief when I took them off, and all I did was sit in a chair to try them on. Am ordering another half size up, hoping they won't be too long.

I wanted to love these. I ordered my true size as well as a size up and they made my feet fall asleep within 20 min of wearing them around the house.

These shoes are beautiful and perfectly sturdy while still allowing for running. I was a little skeptical at first, but after one wear I was in love! They come with little heel inserts for lifters which is genius. The toe box isn't as big as Reebok Nanos which was what I wanted. Better for a slightly narrower foot. I was worried they were a smidge small, but after one workout they were true to size. I got tons of compliments and love the material, structure for rope climbs, and light weight. Excellent buy!

Love the Nike Metcon 6. Fit like a glove but did not cut in or rub anywhere weird. I was always a Reebok Nano girl until this year. New Nanos were terrible so I gave the Metcons another try and so glad I did. These are perfect. I wear them for Crossfit. I will be picking up an additional pair since I am afraid they will change the design again.

Glad I bought this shoe. It's perfect for my weight training days. Not sure I'd want to wear it as a daily sneaker.

I usually get a full size up when I buy Nike running shoes so I think I should have gotten a half size up with these. They fit, but my toes just feel a little squished towards the top. Maybe that's because I'm used to more room in my running shoes, but I think next time I buy these I will get a half size up. So far they've been great for strength training and HIIT workouts!

These are perfect for lifting weights and rowing on an erg. Great stability while being flat yet supportive! Went up a size

Stable shoe, great for leg day but flexible enough to get cardio in too. Not as stiff as Converse (if you've ever tried Converse for leg day) but just as supportive. These are the only style shoes I wear for leg day.

Exactly the shoes I was looking for! I needed some shoes for lifting free weights and cross-training activities. These are perfect. The support is outstanding. I found this style via many “best shoes for lifting” blog posts and they were right. I do think it was silly that the shoes have a chrome accent that came with a sticker that indicated it will wear off with use. I don’t really understand why they would choose that knowing it will flake off. However, since I’m using them in my home gym, I don’t really care. (They weren’t available in any other colors in my size.) On the other hand, my 14 year old told me they look fantastic. ;) The shoes are comfortable without being too cushy, they’re breathable, and they’re functional. I ordered my usual size (10.5).

These Nike Metcon 6 are much more comfortable than my previous Puma sneakers. I also had a pair of New Balance and I find the Metcons to be better for my foot. The Metcon 6 does not hurt my arches and, I don't find the need to insert the additional arch pads that are provided with the sneakers. My toes are not squished in the front and they don't slip off at the back of the sneaker. I wear and purchased a size 9. They fit well without any gaps. I plan on purchasing a second pair in another color.

I love these shoes! I have been struggling with me feet when I work out for several years. I would normally wear cushioned running shoes but I wasn't able to do any sort of jumping motions without getting numbness in my toes. Right after I put these on I knew that these might be my new magic shoes. I'm no longer getting numb toes during my workout and they offer great stability for weight lifting and lunging. I'll be ordering a second pair as soon as they are back in stock for my size. ( I do not think these would make great running shoes)

Great training shoe. Fits like a glove. The most comfortable gym shoes I have worn in a long time. Pricey but worth the money. I have a small bunion but no worries with this shoe.

This is a shoe for specific workouts. HIIT, weightlifting, and plyo exercises. This is not a running shoe, or a stand on your feet all day shoe. With that said, it is perfect for proving stability. I've worn the past two generations of this shoe and it has just gotten better. If rope climbing, deadlifts, or over head lifts are on your to do list - then these shoes will be perfect. I find they run true to size.

These shoes are super nice. I loved my Reebok Nanos, but didn’t like the new ones coming out. These feel very similar to them. Love the color, not bright white and they fit secure and snug. I went up a half size after reading the reviews.

Perfect sneakers for HIIT, EMOM, and weight training. Keep my feet stable during side-to-side movements, quick transitioning between exercises, and lifting. Tried with and without included heel inserts. Preferred without. The insert moved my foot up just enough to cause one of my heels to rub on the shoe. Tying laces tighter did not help, as I have narrower feet. Agree with others - it does sound like you’re wearing high heels when walking around w these - doesn’t affect function. This is NOT a running sneaker. There is too much material on the outside arch and heel areas of the shoe to allow feet to move and flex properly while running. I do not recommend these sneakers for running. Not sure how other reviewers have used these shoes for running. Takeaway - great training sneaker, definitely recommend for that purpose. (My purchase - sz 10.5, gray/pink. I wear sz 9.5 street shoe. Sized up a whole size with this shoe to allow for swelling during workouts. Perfect fit!)

I have liked my Metcons in the past but these just weren't a good fit. They are too stiff and even after wearing them a lot, they still aren't very comfortable and if I walk or run more than a mile in them I get blisters, even after having them for months and months. They look great but they are lemons.

These came in a generic box with a note that the "original box was damaged." Pretty sure these are used. I will be returning.
