So when I saw these shoes it took me right back to the days of summer in my younger years. I loved my Dr. Scholls! And seeing the cute Kate Spade design just had to have. Unfortunately, I needed to return because the just did not fit right. Think maybe because there are no half sizes so went to the size up...very sad the didn't work out cuz they are really cute shoes!

These shoes are just like the old Dr Scholls from years ago. Just much cuter and more feminine because they are Kate Spade!

Kate Spade plus Dr Scholl's makes me happy! Very fun reinterpretation of the Dr. Scholl's of my youth. The reason for only 4 stars is because the wooden bottom does not have the original's slightly raised area right behind the toes that helped to facilitate the ability to grip and walk easily. These slide a fair bit. but thy sure are cute

Finally got these today after waiting for several weeks. They are gorgeous on and fit true to size for the most part. My feet are narrow and they weren't sliding around too much which is always nice. I did not realize how heavy they would be to walk around on. They are contructed from real wood and it is heavy plus the strap is fairly small so it means that your foot has to pick up a lot with minimal support from the strap. A bit of a high maintenance shoe but simply stunning so worth it!

I still have a couple pair of the "original exercise sandals", the soles are worn but the contour are NOT as pronounced, the depth of the heel is not as great. I am recovering from Achilles tendinitis and the sandal has been comforting. I want the original depth.

I have worn my Dr. Scholls several times since receiving last week. I had a navy & black pair of these from 2003-2016. They were so beat up I had to let them go. I assumed finding a replacement pair would be no problem but, I couldn't find the classic wooden clog anywhere! All I could find were cheap looking plastic imposters. I was so happy to find these & ordered the black. The price is twice what I paid back in 2003. They look awesome! Love the style- the leather band across the foot seems slightly more narrow than my original ones, which makes the shoe not quite as comfortable to walk in. I'm usually a size 7.5 so I ordered the 8 and they fit perfectly. Although I wouldn't wear them to walk in all day-I love them & get a ton of compliments with people exclaiming..."where did you find those?!? I remember my mom wearing those in the 70's! They are so cool!" I hope these last for years!

I started wearing Scholls in 1968, in Switzerland.
Continued buying until it seemed the quality dropped. Expensive now, but will have to see if the leather can break in.

I bought these shoes because i had these growing up. I decided to go with the original wood. Well they were too heavy and uncomfortable. I sent them back

I have been wearing these sandals for many years and have noticed a decline in the security on the metal clasp on top. It pops open too easily when barely touched. It seems its even worse on my new pair. My old pair was still in good condition, but the clasp wouldn't stay closed. For the price, the clasp should be stronger and a better quality.

Just how I remember them!! I however don't remember getting blisters from the strap before. Feel great after a long day.

I remember my mom wearing these when I was little. Stumbled upon them online and decided to buy a pair. They are just like I remember. I love the sound of the wooden shoe as it hits the floor. The color is beautiful and they are comfortable. I would not wear them if I were doing a lot of walking though. I look forwarding to buying other colors. I know these will last for years!

Like many, I grew up buying Dr. Scholl's in the drugstore. I now have a winter getaway home on a beach and can't stand flip flops, so I ordered a pair of the blue Dr. Scholls. Like many other reviewers have stated, I feel they have altered them in the toe bed, making the hump less prominent. I prefer the old style, but I guess we don't have much of a choice! Still, I love slipping into these and am happy with my purchase. However, if you are a half size, always order up. I am a 9 and 1/2 size and I was on the fence about ordering a 9 or a 10, but I ordered a 10 and I was glad I did because they just fit. A 9 would have been a disaster.

These shoes bring me back to the 70's- in a good way! I really love my new Dr. Scholl's. They are great summer sandals- can wear to the beach or a lunch with friends. My daughter said I have a thing for wooden shoes- she may be right!!

I wore Dr Scholls wooden clogs as a young girl everywhere.. for years.. these are close in design, only missing the bump that would be under your big toe area.. the bottom wares out quicker than I remember as well.. I own 3 pairs right now..
they never go on sale - and are pricey

Was hoping for the same good feeling of the 70s! The wood feels so good on your feet! Unfortunately, the pair I received was defective and the buckle wouldn't close. Had to return. Not sure if I should chance it again!

I was so excited to get these sandals! I wore the original sandals was the young adult and love them. They are comfortable and indestructible. I was disappointed when I received it is because the toe grip has been almost completely obliterated which makes the sandals really hard to keep on your feet when you're walking. There is nothing for your toes to grip. So sad and disappointed. Bring back the toe grip!!!

I was excited to purchase this shoe based on other reviews that said this is the shoe they remember from the 70's. The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn was a similar style of Dr. Scholl's in the 70's. This is not that shoe. The 70's style looked the same, however, the one from the 70's had a recessed heel that was slightly lower than the ball of the foot (like when walking barefoot in the sand). The lower heel allowed a gentle stretching of the lumbar and back of the legs; it also made the shoe extremely stable and easy to walk in any terrain. This modern version has the heel of the foot higher than the ball of the foot, which causes the foot to slide forward. This instability makes walking on anything other than level ground a challenge.
