I am so disappointed by these boots. I have a wide forefoot so I ordered the wide and they are SO narrow. When I pulled them out of the box they looked so narrow that I immediately double-checked the sizing to make sure they were the correct size. The material seems nice and they look cute but were horribly uncomfortably tight on my wide foot. These are going back. Some of my favorite shoes are Vionic but I think their quality is slipping because lately their shoes are all either narrow when they're supposed to be wide or are way too wide in the ankles while either fitting or being snug in the toes which is the opposite of what I need. If you have a narrow foot these do have good arch support and would probably be great. I'm really sad they're not actually wide.

Worst toe box design for a combat boot! I wear a 7.5 in every shoe, including Vionic flip-flops, but the "almond toe" design of this boot made it ridiculously tight even with thin socks (and who wears thin socks with a boot?!). Vionic says these need a short break in period, but honestly, it was painful wearing these around the house. The arch felt like it was a smidge too far back as well. I went to the mall to try on a size 8, and while the arch felt better placed, the boots were way too long in the toe and felt loose all around like a clown shoe. Beyond disappointing because the black leather is soft and gorgeous, and the combat boot style very nice except for the almond toe. Lighter weight than comparable Dr. Martens, too. They're almost worth the pain and bunions... but not quite. Waiting for UPS to pick up my return today, and shall wait patiently for Vionic to redesign this boot with a more rounded toe box.

The good reviews on this shoe are true. Well made, good looking, lightweight. For me they were quite long, with the end of the shoe a good inch beyond my longest toe. Right now my main issue with Vionics is inconsistency of sizing among models. I have a pair of Vionic sandals that I love in size 8. I ordered these in an 8 and would have exchanged for 7-1/2 if they were in stock. I also tried the Vionic Berlin athletic shoe in an 8 and by toes touched the end of the inside of the shoe. So, three pairs of the same brand and I needed a different size for each of them!

I LOVE these. I discovered Vionic when looking for supportive and cozy slippers and have recently bought my second pair. I generally wear orthotics in all my shoes except my Papillio sandals (Birkenstock sister company). I've found I don't need my orthotics so far in these Vionic boots since the sole and arch are supportive enough. Lovely relief for my usually sore feet. These boots are lace-up as well as zip-up, so I can lace to get snug support on my arch with easy on easy off convenience. I hope they start making more styles.......These make my feet look petite.

Wow! I am in love with these! I was deciding between these and doc martens. I went with thee because they are so comfortable. I am a stylist and work on my feet all day. They have been amazing. I get so many compliments. No break in time and easy on and off.

I wear a 7.5, never anything but. After reading all the reviews i ordered up a half size and chose wide over medium. They were definitely too long so I should have stuck with my typical 7.5, but I do think the wide was a good decision. not sure how to talk about the width as it is going to show i got a wide... which to me, fit like a normal shoe, not like a wide shoe. absolutely beautiful boots.

They look like refined, dressy doc martin’s but they are extremely lightweight. I love the side zip and the arch support. They look great with this seasons’s straight and boot cut jeans.

I wore these boots on my recent trip to Egypt, and just let me say I walked 37,000 steps in one day and my feet NEVER hurt. WOW. I have a fallen arch that sometimes leads to instep and ankle pain, but not with this wonderfully built shoe that is pretty to boot (see what I did there?) Rugged(ish) sole is good for walking on uneven terrain, too. Best shoe I have ever purchased!

I usually purchase a 9.5 but because of other reviews I got the wide and they fit perfectly, are really comfortable, light and soft leather. The only issue I had was that they arrived with no tags in a generic box that stated that the original packaging had been damaged. There are so many counterfeits out there that I felt uncomfortable purchasing such an expensive product with no proof of authenticity.

I ordered a few different sizes and stuck with the 7 which is what I usually wear in closed toe shoes. Leather on these is beautiful, soft, not stiff . I’m in love with how lightweight these are for a combat boot. I highly recommend. And of course, awesome shipping & easy returns from Zappos per usual.

Beautiful boots! Lightweight, comfortable, and stylish. I tried them on at the end of a workday and wore them around the house for hours because I forgot I was wearing them. I’m between a 9.5W and a 10W and I kept the 10 because they felt a little roomier in the toe. I have foot issues so I order W and also size up. I think that the 9.5 also fit well. These shoes are true to size.

I love that this is a lightweight version of a combat boot. Beautiful leather and good fit. Slightly narrow but should break in being real leather

Felt good right out of the box. Just need to wear the right socks with these. Felt a little funny at ankle without socks. They weren't really snug in the heel but should be fine with the right socks. They look nice on my size 10 foot. Love Vionic and wish I could give them a design for sandals I got in Thailand.

Pretty cute for a shoe with arch support. I wear the vionic flip-flops and they are supportive on their own, but for these, I also put my arch supports on top of their sole. That worked well and the shoe has enough room where it's not too tight. I like that they are lightweight. I have a normal to narrow foot and I purchased a wide, because the regular width was too tight.

The sole isn't thick enough for my purposes. The leather on this shoe is beautiful, soft and will likely mold around some feet but not mine. I found these too narrow. The zipper on the side is the only way to go. The laces adjust but they are cotton and require a little time to adjust them. I'm returning these.

Definitely disappointed, because they are narrow across the the front of the boot, and Vionic does not offer this style in a wide width. The boot is otherwise lovely.

I really wanted to love these boots but the heels rubbed and hurt. On the positive side, the arch support was outstanding and the toe box was roomy. Box was damaged but boots were not..

Love these boots! It was so comfortable and very light. I had them for hours and my feet didn't get tired at all. I thought the arch support would be a problem since I am somewhat flat footed but it didn't bother me at all. However, these boots were very narrow so people with wider feet wouldn't find this comfortable. Lucky me I have a very narrow petite feet! I bought these in two different colors (black and cream/off white).

These are fabulous boots! The black leather is very good quality and they are very comfortable. I ordered them in my normal size 6.5 (regular) and they for great with a thin sock. When they first arrived I thought maybe they were too tight, but they are leather, so I just loosen the laces and wore them with a thick sock for maybe 30 minutes and then changed into a thin sock and they fit perfectly. Most thin leather will stretch a bit. If they are too tight, just loosen up the laces a little bit and wear them inside for a short time and then they will fit perfectly. I also have them in the dark green suede color. They really are incredibly cute in person! These are definitely have more narrow toe box so if you have a wide foot these might not fit you.

I LOVE those boots in the wide width. In most shoes I need a 9 wide- I bought these boots in a cream color and I'm obsessed- so I gave my huscand the link, and asked for black ones for Christmas. You sold out of these in black in a wide width way too fast for him to order. He took the suggestion of the vionic helpline rep, and ordered a 9 and 1/2 standard width. Doesn't work- not at all. Your standards are narrow to begin with- if I went to a 10- the width might work then, but they support elements would not be sized correctly. Please bring back the wide width- in at least back- but I'd love a camel color. I'm buying them, full price, don't even care. But we need another run of the wide width and we needed them like 3 months ago. I don't understand why you don't produce enough wide width products, when you have a huge audience of people need wide width and wide calf. With combat boots, I can get the foot support- and then just loosen the top laces around the calve to fit. Bring them back!!!

I have two pairs of these boots, one in black leather that I have had for about two years, and one in green suede, that I have had for a year. They are very comfortable. The sizing is a bit funky, I had to size a full size up. They are a bit narrow, but they fit my feet really well.

Nice boots for the price. Never tried Vionic before and I was impressed. After reading reviews I sized up to a 7 1/2 wide and was glad I did because these would have been very narrow. I don't have wide feet but I do have a bunion on my left foot. Just take note they run narrow. I liked the look except felt the toe box was too narrow looking for the style. Went with a Cole Haan Chelsea boot.

I love these boots. I have narrow feet and have a hard time finding anything comfortable. These fit the bill. They feel like they were made for me. And they really look nice, the leather is soft.

Wow! This is a beautiful boot. It is nicely crafted and detailed and could be dressed up or down. The shoe is surprisingly lightweight, making it perfect for travel. As others have observed, the boot runs narrow. After reading the reviews (thank you!), I ordered a 9 wide rather than the standard width as I have bunions and prefer shoes with a wide toe box. I'm glad that I did as the boot looks and feels like a medium. I usually wear a 9 or 9-1/2 and have room at the toes. The leather is soft and the shoe feels comfortable out of the box. I look forward to wearing it with jeans, pants, and dresses this fall!
