I've had this water bottle for about 3 months and I've noticed that that water that I put in it doesn't stay cold anymore.

The 40oz size is convenient, does not fit in car cup holder though. Bottle arrived with a small dent in it. While the color is awesome, it is much more light and gray than the photos on website, the photos give off a lavender tint and it is much more gray than lavender. This was my first Hydroflask and I do not intend on purchasing one again. I have non-Hydroflasks for far less money that keep colder longer.

I have purchased 3 hydro flasks, within the past 5 years and usually I would highly recommend them to all. However my boyfriend custom ordered me a yellow 40oz hydroflask with a boot and colored lid and a little over a year later my hydro began to rust! This hasn't been an issue I've had in the past with my previous two hydroflask, and no matter what I tried, rust kept coming back! So sad I had to get rid of it! For such a high end custom water bottle, it was truly a disappointment.

This bottle is simply TOO big. Every time I go to drink from it, it receives laughter and comments from everyone around me because it looks absolutely ridiculous. HydroFlasks are notoriously "cool' to carry around in the college scene but NOT THIS ONE. The photos that are included of people holding the bottle do not accurately show its proportions. This thing is bigger than my head and is difficult to hold with one hand. Even worse, it doesn't fit in any cupholders and takes up almost my entire backpack so it is extremely difficult to transport to and from class. I had a much smaller HydroFlask years ago that I lost and I have missed it everyday since. I so wish I could exchange this for a smaller size... as a broke college student it is so disheartening to hate using a product I spent so much money on.

I bought the limited edition ombre 1.18L bottle 3 days ago and am already having problems with it. I've been very careful with it and have never dropped it but it has scratched in multiple places. It is clearly not durable at all and it also does not keep water cold as long as advertised. I'm very disappointed for the amount of money spent on the product.

Gave this to my teenager for Christmas. She used it for two weeks and dropped it once from knee-height to the concrete. Now there is a huge dent dead center. For the price, I would have expected this to be much more durable.

I love this cause of water it holds but it does lose it ability to hold the cold which is so annoying.

I bought this during their black friday sale and it came dented. I'm highly disappointed with this.

This product is ok. It is fantastic for all cold beverages , unfortunately for hot beverages I did not find it helpful. Cold drinks have stayed cold up to 3 days. Hot be stage stayed hot for an hour. Like warm at 2 and room temperature after that. I would recommend it for cold beverages only for people who hike or camp. But not good for winter use.

Bought this a month ago and the mouth wasn't quite as wide as...um... I had hoped for personal uses. I bought a Nalgene and I can fit anything in it- finally satisfaction. It's significantly better for my uses. I like hows coarse the threads are on it too, they really give me good grip. I greatly prefer it to this over-priced, yet under sized product that can't pull its weight in the heat of the moment. Wouldn't recommend, 3/10.

I bought this water bottle about 2 weeks ago. On the video about the hydro-flask, it mentioned scratch free. I was so excited to get this water bottle! It let me down majorly, has 4 dents already and it almost looks cheaply made. Extremely let down. :(

I just received my "mint" hydrosflask in the mail and it in no way can be described as mint! It's more like a light hunter green! This is a very deceiving picture and description. I had a pink hydroflask that I absolutely loved but I lost it and they no longer sell the pink. I was excited about the mint as a good substitute but am so disappointed in the color ecen though I'm sure the hydroflaskthat itself is superb in all other ways.

Terrible product do not recommend at all. Will be a complete waste of money.

It almost impossible to open the bottle. These bottles were for ppl in their 20, 30s. Love the bottle but what's the point if I can't open it

My hydroflask has rust after using it once I'm very disappointed.

Purchased year ago...Condensation when ice water is added to 40oz wide mouth.... Maybe good for 12 hour ice retention

I bought my bottle about one month ago and have realized that it does not keep my iced water cold after an hour. I've compared it to an old one I had in which that one keeps the ice frozen for several hours.

I bought my 40oz bottle in January and have used it ever since (about 8 months). I clean it frequently because if I notice the water tastes slightly differently it freaks me out. Today while cleaning my bottle I noticed ORANGE SPOTS on the inside. I scrubbed it with a brush and it didn't come off. After taking some photos I came to the conclusion that it was RUST!! I have no idea how long I have been drinking rust for. I have only ever put water in my bottle so there is no way it somehow got stained by something else. This is unacceptable. I hope I don't get sick.

Worst water bottle in every way. Dented. Scratched. Rusted. Leaks. You have to tighten the cap SO tight to keep it from leaking, you might not be able to open it when you're thirsty. I'm so happy I did not pay full price. It's in the cabinet. In the back. Should be in the trash.

For the price I assumed it would be great quality. I have about 5 days with my Hydro Flask and I dropped it from 1-2 feet and it dented. It landed bottom first then it tipped over, so now it has 3 dents from that one fall. I've had a TAL water bottle and I've dropped it so many times in the span of 3 years and it wouldn't dent. The only reason I bought a hydro was because I liked that it had a straw mouth piece which was a more convenient access to drinking water. With the TAL I had to unscrew the mouth piece to drink water and screw it back to close it. I'm just disappointed, I had high hopes for the hydro flask:

I liked the bottle initially, but after a couple of months the interior coating developed rust. The bottle kept my water cool while working in the hot Middle Eastern sun during the summer, but the coating failure was disappointing - not a fan of drinking rust.

Dropped from about a foot and already dented. Thought it would be way more durable. Disappointed.
