I bought this cap because I was tired of having to screw off the top every single time and dumping water all down the front of me. I am very disappointed because I feel like I am barely getting any water because there is so much air that is passing through with the water. I take 10 gulps before feeling like I got enough. Also, it is extremely loud when drinking because of the air bubbles. I work in a quiet office and everyone knows when I am taking a drink. Unsure if this was just broken when I bought it or if it is supposed to be that way. Really bummed.

I ordered this product and i was happy for a week.... then it started leaking even with the cap closed, i was very upset

I like this for my 2 year old because she can bit the top without showing her teeth marks or breaking it like the straw led. The only problem with this Sport Cap is she bites the top causing it to leak if placed upside down. But it is still worth it because it keeps her water cold all day long in child care.

bought the sport cap right away because i knew having to unscrew the lid all day would hurt my hydration. The sport cap is nice, but it doesnt give you that solid of a stream of water. It feels a little blocked

Bought on vacation in Zion for my daughters little hydro flask and it leaks every where!

I bought the hydroflask and sports lid to us at work so I could have a sealed bottle for water (I work in a hospital). I love the flask itself, but my problem lies in the sport cap. It's great and doesn't leak on me, but every time I take a drink form it, it is anything but quiet!! It whistles and makes a loud bubbling noise similar to smoking a hookah, I for sure get way more air than water. If not for these two issues I would have rated it 5 stars for sure since the bottle keeps ice in my water for an extremely long time.

If you aren't careful the microscopic clear rubber airlock can pop out, rendering the cap useless (unless you want to be sprayed in the eyes with water with every sip). I cannot recommend this product until that feature is improved. Sorry guys, my first let down from hydro flask.

This is good way to improve an old bottle, Unfortunately me kids keep losing the small transparent rubber covers for the air vent and the bottles are no longer useful. We promptly received warranty replacements for 3 sport caps, but now have 5 out of 6 without air vent covers. I would love to buy a couple dozen of these little covers so we can keep replacing them every few weeks. But otherwise, these aren't useful anymore. For adults who can be careful with the caps, they might work great. But I don't recommend them for kids.

I purchased 3 new sports caps to replace existing older caps with a 'spout'. I love the design and new spout, but HATE the fact that the tiny rubber piece came right off the first time we used the new cap. The new rubber piece is smaller than the previous rubber pieces on the older caps. Any tips on how to NOT have these tiny rubber pieces come off?

I've bought two for my boyfriend thinking the first was faulty but they both leak.

Why would hydroflask sell a cap for their water bottles that leak? For an expensive and nice water bottle but then have a cap that leaks does not make much sense. For kids and sports it is obviously not ideal for them to remove the entire cap so there is the sport cap. But if it is laying on its side or upside down in a sports bag it is leaking. Very unhappy with this

This thing should work in theory, except it's hard to get the plug open and you must use two hands if you don't use your teeth (which you should not do). I bought this for a regular mouth 24oz bottle because I wanted something for my purse and car, and shorter hikes for less weight than my 40oz. I did not like that I couldn't open it with one hand. Also, and this was BIG - it makes a loud, horrible gurgling/sucking noise, which is annoying in the city and is totally not ok out in the bush hunting. My husband forbid it coming on our trips.

Not worth it. Makes lots of noise and leaks all over all the time.

This cap leaks and is difficult to drink from because it's so airy

I bought two of this caps for my kids bottles, they both leak. I had the same problem with the ones I previously bought some years ago.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and it it immediately started to leak when turned over. I bought two sport caps and both leaked.

Not good. It's leaking. We learned that it is leaking few days after we bought it because my daughter left it on her pillow side and when she woke up, the bottle was empty and her bed was wet. I did some test and we saw that the leak was from the spout not from where you screw it close.

We bought this mouthpiece about 2 months ago, and with usage being about 2-3x a week, the part of the mouthpiece that you sip of off has degraded and lost its original coating and has become "sticky". My daughter will not longer use it because the product has eroded to the point both she and us (her parents) aren't sure the plastic/rubber materials under the coating are safe to have in a person's mouth. I would not recommend purchasing.

The sports cap is leaking. It's only been in use for a few weeks and alway hand washed. Definitely disappointed.

Bought 3 of these for my kids water bottles and all 3 have major leakage. Total bummer. Soaked their backpacks, etc. Will not purchase Hydroflask accessories again.

I love the bottles but for some reason over the last 4 months every time I buy one of sports caps for my kids they knock over bottle and the lid snaps in half. We've gone through 5 caps in this time.
