I loved this style of merrell encore moc whatever from years ago. I had 2 pairs, wore them out! I decided I would replace them but merrell has replaced them with a shoe that is kinda close, the straps on them are different. I liked the multiple strap look. Was going to give up and stumbled up on the merrell work encore that IS the old style. The work encore is a little beefier, weighs an ounce or two more but it's the same attractive shoe I love. I always got lots of compliments on how nice they looked on my feet. There is plenty of room in them for orthotics, altho if the orthotic is too thick your heel might slip, mine did, I thot I couldn't live with it but soon I was used to it. I think that might have been in the design of the shoe tho as they have "moc" in the name and are designed along the Danske idea of heel slipage. This new pair/design has no arch support in my opinion so I am on a quest to find a new orthotics to put in them. I miss the days when my feet were young and not picky!! I tried my older otc orthotics in them, they squeeked and farted when I walked so I will get new ones that will break in with these shoes. This puts my shoe cost to about $175. They fit true to my size 8 which is what I wear in merrells. All in all they are quite cute on the feet and well worth all my time to get the fit just right for me.

These look wonderful on me. However, they do not provide as much arch support as the trail glove 4 or the Jungle Moc. I do love the look of them though. I bought them for work. I am hoping they are slip resistant and waterproof like they claim. I’ve tried like ten different shoes for kitchen use.

All the Merrell sizing is off. Used to make the best mac pro shoes. These are not it.

I purchased a pair of Encore shoes a few years ago. I loved them. I loved them so much that I purchased another pair for when the first ones wore out. Well, I am now on my third pair of Encore but I upgraded the the Work version. The regular version was not available. I hope this style is always around.

This shoe fit and was very comfortable. The size fit as expected. I was actually looking for a Merrell slide. I ordered these to think about and in the end decided I did just want a slide. If you are looking for a comfortable everyday shoe this may be your shoe. :)

I love this shoe. Comfortable right out of the box. Great for walking and standing. Nice roomy toe area.

This is the best shoe. My first pair of Encore lasted 15 years. This pair is new and improved. Thanks Merrill!

I have had an older version of this shoe....for over 15 years!!!! They were finally dying a slow death and was glad to see the new and improved version! Perfect 7.5 size. I have tended to go with a wide with shoes now due to a bunion growing, but found the regular width comfortable. Wouldn't wear this shoe with a thick sock though! Its a great tough shoe with style. I am in healthcare and stand on my feet most of the day. This shoe is great.

They fit! I like a supportive shoe but not a lot of arch. This is it! Sturdy but comfortable. They look durable, also, so hopefully won’t have to replace them too soon.

There is more to “fit” than the size and width. These shoes felt hard and abrasive inside. I have plantar fasciitis and the shoe did not make my heel feel comfortable.
