I got these boot as apart of a wear testing opportunity and Im very grateful for the opportunity. although they are "work" boots and I wear them to work on the days I Know I have light duty because I dont want to destroy them. I work as a mechanic and I am on my feet for 8-10 hours a day and love wearing them in the shop and out on a Friday night. Thanks again for this opportunity I love your brand!

First off, these boots seem to run on the small side. I wear a 9.5 and initially ordered that size. The footbed and toebox were spacious, but the vamp was very tight across the top of my foot and I had thin socks on when I tried them on. I expect they would stretch, but exchanged for a size 10 which also fit perfectly. No tight spot across the top of my foot with thick work socks on.
Overlook made the exchange painless and quick.
I have owned several pair of Timberland Pro similar to this, the predecessors to the current model I purchased, I suppose. I work in the oil exploration industry on a drilling rig. My boots are covered in diesel 24/7 for weeks on end and these boots are some of the most durable I've used. Anything with cement only construction tends to fall apart very quickly, usually within two weeks due to the diesel attacking the adhesive used to construct the boots. Since these use the tried and true Goodyear welt construction method, I don't have to worry about the outsole coming unglued while I'm on a project in the middle of nowhere.
The carbon toe on these make for a surprisingly light pair of boots. Compared to the Keens (super comfy, just not up to oilfield duty) I've been wearing for the last 6 months, these feel like sneakers, that's how light they are. I work 12hr shifts and this amount of weight reduction is going to make a huge difference in fatigue.
So far I've just been wearing them around the house to break them in and get things stretched out properly. Out of the box, they are good to go. Nothing is stiff enough to cause a problem if one were to just jump right into wearing them for 12hrs. The sole is just a little stiff under the ball of the foot, but that broke-in after about 1/2 mile of walking. Everything else is supple and ready to work right out of the box. The shaft will stretch over time, but isn't tight or stiff, it'll just get better. Same can be said of everything else, it'll stretch and wear-in but that means it only gets more comfortable over time.
I have three concerns with these boots. The piping and stitching around the top of the shaft is a bit coarse. While this is mitigated by wearing proper boot socks that cover that area of the calf, it could possibly be irritating to the skin until it wears-in. Same for the pull tabs. The leather is cut with sharp corners and the thread for the stitching feels rough on the skin. While this will wear in the most and the fastest due to it standing proud of the rest of the material lining the shaft, that also means it will have more contact with the skin and the potential for irritation if not protected by a sock.
Another concern is with the heel of the liner. This has been a continuous point of failure for me with wellington style boots. I've found boots with a piece of leather stitched in to cover the area where the heel slides while taking boots on/off to be the most durable. If the leather is just blued to the liner or not present, I've found that over time, the liner either ends up wearing through, defeating the waterproofness of the boots and their usefulness to me OR the adhesive used to glue the liner to the shaft fails and the liner bunches up to the point where putting on/removing the boots becomes a struggle to the point of uselessness. These boots have a two-piece fabric patch stitched in the heel. Bonus points for stitching it in, but the durability of this material, especially with a horizontal seam in the middle of the heel patch, remains to be seen. It feels like a microsuede material, hopefully it's durable.
My final concern is with the rubber compound the sole is made from. It would be fantastic if they had a vibram sole as they seem to resist the harsh environment I work in the best. Inferior compounds are prone to absorbing diesel and swelling. If the sole does this uniformly, it's not so bad, but makes the sole very soft and therefore wear extremely fast, as well as become unbelievably slippery when walking on water covered metal. If they absorb the diesel unevenly, it makes the boots unwearable. So hopefully these have a rubber compound not prone to swelling when exposed to petroleum products.
The factory insoles are extremely comfortable and squishy. I normally replace the factory insoles with the "heat and mold" variety immediately, but I'm going to give these a shot and see how they do. Since they are so soft, I'm concerned the foam will compress quickly. But until it does, these are very comfortable insoles and give great arch support for how soft they are. They really make the boots comfortable to walk in and are responsible for the sneaker-like feel and comfort. Hopefully they are as durable as they are comfortable.
Aside from those two potential issues, I expect these boots will last me at least a year, hopefully two like the last pair of Timberland Pros I employed. The composite toe and fantastic insoles make these boots unbelievably light and comfortable. Bravo Timberland!

This is the 1st pair of pull on boots I've owned, which is why i bought the regular fit instead of wide. The stretched out as needed and now fit great. I wear them daily. They broke in quick, and are comfortable. I love the heel kick at the back. Makes taking them off easy without risking tearing the sole off.

This is hands down the best boots I have ever had. I'm on my third pair (only because my job reimburses me yearly for boots) and will continue with the Timberland Pro boots. I am on my feet 10-12 hours a day and they don't bother my feet at all.

Well first of all Timberland never let's us down in terms of quality, fit and looks. I personally have 26 pair. Boots, sandals, hikers. My husband has 5 pair of boots. This new pair are rarely off his feet!

I've been wearing Timberland PRO boots for a while now, and they're by far the best work boots I've owned. Right out of the box, they felt sturdy and comfortable, with little to no break-in period. The support is fantastic I'm on my feet all day, and these boots make a noticeable difference in reducing fatigue.
The build quality is impressive; they're tough, durable, and can handle rough job sites without showing much wear. The waterproofing works well in wet conditions, and the grip is solid even on slick surfaces. Plus, the safety toe adds peace of mind without adding extra bulk.
Overall, Timberland PRO boots are worth every penny for anyone needing reliable, comfortable, and rugged footwear. Highly recommended for anyone in the trades or anyone who needs a boot that can keep up with tough work environments!

I'm a landscape superintendent and walk on average 10 miles a day. 245 dollar Cody james work boots started tearing after 1 week. These usually last me 2 years. I will be loyal timberland pro buyer.

I just have a question. Can these boits be made without the safety toe. I love the way they look and they ate comfortable right out of the box. I just dont need the safety toe. I like the round toe bettdr than the square

WEAR A THICK PAIR OR MERINO WOOL SOCKS UNTIL BREAK IN IS DONE. They can rub on the heel a tad. I currently own 3 pair. I alternate between 2 pair. When one pair finally dies I'll bring in the new pair and go ahead and buy another. Absolutely the most durable boot. I wear them even while pouring concrete and have tested them to the max. I tossed my rubber boots in the trash. I would be very surprised if anyone has tested these boots much harder than I have. Concrete cannot kill them. I don't know what kind of leather they are using but it's unstoppable.

I'm a big guy, who always has a hard time keeping boots for longer than a few months before I need a new pair. I work with concrete, asphalt, and excavations every day. With that being said the boots I have purchased from Timberland that I have been wearing for the last month or so have very little sign of wear on them, other than dirt marks. I wear these boots daily for work and wear them when I'm off that's how comfortable they are. My feet don't hurt anymore since getting these boots. These boots also breathe very well and live up to the waterproof feature they have. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone who needs boots for work, and these will be the next boots I buy when I wear these ones out but at this current rate of wear and tear it will probably be a couple of years.

I've been purchasing these boots for 6 years. As a field engineer I'm always out in the elements and these are the ONLY work boots that tick all the boxes. Especially with their safety and anti-fatigue properties. I get a pair every year (not that they wear out but bc my company give me an allowance to buy new ones every year). The MOST comfortable boots for longs days out in the field. I wouldn't recommend and other brand.

These boots are really comfortable. I usually order boots in a half size larger than my dress shoes which I did in this case and they fit great. Every pair of Timberland shoes I have had are super comfortable. I'd recommend highly.

I bought a pair of these boots about a year ago. They have held up well. I'd guess I'd still have a few more months left before they'll be due for replacement. My feet don't get cold in them, nor have I had any issues with water seeping in. My only gripe is that the insoles wear out pretty quickly and timberland does not sell a square toe insole replacement. Ariat insoles fit without cutting. I'd recommend them for anyone considering them. I found that sizing ran differently with these. I had to go a full size smaller than normal for a pair of the pull ons that fit well.

I have a heavy step and usually wear out boots within 6 months but these boots are 12 months in and still going strong. The anti fatigue system is amazing and if it wasn’t for my bad left knee the left boot would be in better shape. These are my official go-to boot and I’ve already ordered another pair!!!!

Great boot for extreme heat. I walk on fresh 300 asphalt all day and the soles haven't even started to separate. Cant find anything else to hold up close to what these do. Had these boots for almost 2 years and wear them 5 days a week.

One of the best fitting and most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. The anti-fatuge insoles are the most comfortable I have ever come across that came with a pair of shoes or boots from the factory.

I was looking for a new pull on work boot and decided to try these after having other Timberland boots in the past. These are very comfortable and fit perfectly. I like the composite toe for reduced weight. The only drawback for me was that my legs had some chafing from the top of the boot. Guess my skin toughened because after 2 or 3 days I didn't notice it anymore.
