Not the best Keen boots I've had. I didn't think I would get them on at first, they are so tight to get into, even with thin dress socks. I was hoping they would loosen after the first day, but on the third day, I'm still getting a hernia trying to get into them. They are okay once on, but still stiff as a wooden shoe. I'll not be recommending or buying them again.

I usually do like Keen, but not this model.

Originally ordered a size 10.5. I could not get the boots on! The ankle area of the boot was too narrow to get my foot through either boot. Returned for a size 11.0. I am able to get my feet into these boots and they are comfortable. Unfortunately, after wearing them a couple of days, they are about a 1/2 size too big.

Once the boots are on, the fit is perfect. But there's something about them that makes it a struggle to put the boots on in the first place. Over time, I've learned little tricks to make it easier (spread the mouth of the boots as much as possible), but they really shouldn't be that damned hard to put on. I got the "laceless" boots because I thought that they'd be easy to put on and off. I probably should have just got the ankle high style. That said, the boots feel great once they're on. Proper sh!t kickers. The leather takes beeswax weather proofing and polish very well.

Boot looks and feels great, I just couldn't get the boot on, due to thicker ankles.

To all the complaints regarding getting these boots on and off (I had to ignore when ordering) … nope, they are NOT sloppy pair of unlaced hi tops, your 3rd grade purple moon boots or a pair of crocs. These are in fact /really high quality boots/ that /fit like a high quality glove/. But even a good fitting glove can be difficult to remove. I put these boots on to work and protect my feet once a day, 10+ hour workday, then I take them off. Nope they aren’t slippers though they do fit extremely well when I order (and if necessary reorder till I get) the right size. I have other boots I swap in from time to time. They go on and come off easier but to be honest I’d rather be walking for a full 10 hours in these which don’t have nearly the slop. As an aside, Since I have lost some weight this process of removing the boot has gotten easier but here’s the thing … I do recognize that my own fitness plays into getting my boot on and off. :-) To those that like to figure things out for themselves - realize not everyone writing reviews here really understands the value in a bombproof workbook that fits like a glove. I ordered 10.5D which, normally 10-10.5 wide foot matched pretty well. Had I to order again I might have tried 10D but it’s likely I would have moved to 10.5D.

I really like the Keen brand of shoes. the toe box is wide and fits me perfectly. with this pair though…. getting into the boot was difficult. once on….. fit great!!! then I had to take them off. oh boy!!! the really hard part is I like the fit on the foot once on. I’m struggling g to keep them and hopefully they work themselves in. idk. just wish the transition from sliding them on to the fit in the boot had a better opening.

Looks & feels great, but and absolute garbage boot for $200+. If you're preference is severe manufacturer defects, then boy are these boots for you! Repeatedly the lining will come loose and render your foot stuck inside within 2 months of use. If you're one of the lucky ones to make it to the 4 month mark of ownership, enjoy the entire sole of the boot falling completely apart. Warranty you ask? Zappos will to a point, until they think that you're trying to take advantage, but they don't acknowledge the fact what they sold you is unsatisfactory When there is a consistent pattern of obvious manufacturer defects & issues that you bring up, and encourage them to reach out to Keen, those suggestions will be swept under the rug in order to keep up with good customer service. But it doesn't solve it. Choose another brand.

I ordered these boots for my husband because his new employer requires him to wear composite toe boots at his new job. Although I ordered these boots in advance of my husband's start date, the boots arrived very late, and worse, they arrived used. They had scuff marks and scratches all over them, they were clearly used. It was so disappointing to pay $225 and receive boots with that were used. We had to purchase another pair of boots through a different vendor (Danner Boots) because the Keens from Zappos hadn't arrived, which ended up working out because the Keens arrived used with scuff marks. I returned the used Keen boots and Zappos refuses to give me a full refund amount, and insist on charging me a $31.04 restocking fee. How is this fair when they sent me used boots?
I'd also recommend:
