I love the comfort of these wool clogs!!! I have now worn them for 2 weeks. What has happened? The cork facing is starting to wear off and I have provided a picture. Should I have ordered a Stegman clog? I would have given them a 5 star review one week ago. I’m so sad. Can or should I return?

I was very disappointed with the quality of this shoe. After wearing them for a couple weeks (maybe 6 times) the thin cork overlay on the plastic sole began to peel off around the base of the shoe. I purchased these to replace another shoe, different brand, that I had for over 20 years. Major disappointment. Will not purchase this brand ever again.

Perfection!!! I’ve been making do with other brands including orthopedics and my feet have been suffering. If only I’d discovered these a decade ago. I’m never buying another brand of slippers. These in 42 fit perfectly, with some room for socks. They are really cute. I love the dark grey and that the lines are super smooth. The arch support and comfort is perfection. They are snug enough to be warm and cozy but not at all tight and they stay on my feet!! Some specifics: I wear size 11 W, usually larger for athletics, same or smaller for slippers. I need deep arch support including metatarsal and wide toe room. My feet need to breathe so no man-made uppers. When I say true to size and width, I mean for an 11 W.

Looking for shoe to wear in house with arch supports. This one is sized large. Normally wear 37, but traded it in for 36.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

Loved these however 4 months in a hole has developed through the wool. Very disappointing.

I wear these daily in the house. They are warm and very supportive. I don't wear these with socks. At first, they were a bit scratchy on my skin, but that is not noticeable anymore.

I have super high arches and this shoe fit the bill. They seemed really warm with or without socks, but are a bit scratchy if you go sockless. The pair I received was poorly stitched (one shoe only) so I sent them back as defective. They are sturdy and stiff so if you are into squishy comfort these won't work for you. I'm not sure if I want this much shoe to pad around the house so will probably keep looking.

I am looking for something to replace Haflinger slippers because the quality is slipping. The Taos seem well made and they are cute, but I did not like the raised heel which put too much pressure on the front of my foot. It is subtle, but not comfortable. I like the more flat style, where the heel is actually sunken a bit to be even with the front like with Birkenstocks. Going to keep looking!

Ultimately, I'm disappointed and feeling like I can't trust this brand, Taos, ever again. Bought these wool/"cork" house slippers but discovered that the sole was made entirely of hard plastic, with a paper-thin facade or veneer of cork, laminated on the outside... covering up the plastic totally-- could not see it until some months of wear. The soles are much, much firmer than a true cork sole would be. So the comfort factor was simply not there. This was a deceptive practice because the product description claimed they were cork soles. They should have been called "cork-looking" soles. I lost a good chunk of money on these fakes.

I’ve had these for almost a year. I wear them around the house & office with socks. As another reviewer noted, the cork started peeling away after a few months & threading came unstitched. Now, the wool is thinning around the toes in the toe box. They are warm & fairly comfortable but overall disappointing quality.

Beautiful and comfortable. I love these shoes, they don’t slip off my feet, secure up and down stairs, warm, great arch support and really lovely looking.

I got these as a gift and love them. I have a very high arch and narrow foot. These are great for both. Highly recommend.

I'm very happy with these and consider them more a "house shoe" than a "slipper" because of their excellent support, rubber sole and stiffness (in a good way). I wanted more of a supportive shoe-slipper than a traditional soft slipper without support and think they deliver. After reading many reviews, I ordered a half size down. I normally wear an 8 and ordered size 38 (women's 7/7.5) and feel the fit it is perfect. I have a mostly normal size width, and one foot is a tad wider but wouldn't be considered wide-footed. I think these fit a normal or wide foot, but if you have narrow feet, the width may feel too wide. Since it's a mule style, it fits perfectly now and just hope it doesn't stretch out and get any wider. The support is great. I've seen a podiatrist in the past and he recommended that any shoe have a little height in the heel to distribute the weight off your heel area. I love that these shoes/slippers do just that! They are perfect for working from home all day. I wear these with thin smart wool socks and my feet have been so warm. My previous slippers were Haflinger's and there were times when my feet wouldn't be warm in them with socks. I gave it 4 and not a 5 because the wool material is a little scratchy without socks. That's really the only disappointing thing about these. I plan to usually wear with socks, so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my choice and after reviewing all other house shoes with support out there, I still think these are the way to go.

Comfortable with good arch support but unhappy that the wool has worn through at the toes.

Very disappointed! The clogs fit well and are very comfortable. I use them as slippers so rarely even step outside with them. In October I would have given them 5 stars, but in December I started noticing that the cork surface was peeling off both clogs. They are still comfortable, but for the price I expect better quality.

This shoe is too wide for my foot.

I feel like Goldilocks. I have wide feet and recognized that being barefoot all day during work at home wasn't good for either my feet or back. I decided to try a European style house clog for both support, warmth and easy slip on style. First ordered a Sanitas which in my size (40-9 W) ran way too small. The Haflinger (40-9W) ran a bit large and didn't appear to have the arch support of the Sanitas. In came Taos. Perfect to size and with great support. Just right :) Thanks Zappos for great delivery and easy returns so I'm comfortable finding just the right pair before investing so much in a shoe.

Bought three different brands of wool clog/slides and this was my favorite. The color is to die for! Really nice arch support from the removable foot bed. I wear a 38, and these for like a glove. I can wear barefoot or with a light sock. Nothing thicker, unless I were to purchase the next size up. The bottoms do squeak a bit, but I expect that to go away. Love these!

I love love love these shoes! I love the color, the fabric, the arch support... I want to wear them all the time. I did get a half-size larger, as recommended, and they still were just a hair tight on my bigger foot, but honestly, I loved them so much I wanted to wear them instead of returning them. And they are wool, so I figured they would stretch just that tiny bit - and they have.

These really are wonderful. Super comfy for around the house but cute enough for running errands with jeans. I ordered others and kept these! Worth a little more for superior comfort / quality.

I’ve had these slippers for less than a year and I wear them every day and they’re still comfortable. However I’m kind of disappointed in how they appear

As soon as these shoes arrived I put them on my tired, quarantined feet. I’ve been living in flip-flops and my arches were really beginning to hurt. The arch support is perfect and the size exact. My only complaint is the wool rubs against my instep, causing discomfort. I’ve started wearing sock and that has helped.
