Love the material. Impressed that its waterproofed as I was hoping for something to walk out in any weather. They fit beautifully; I have several Ecco shoes, always 41 is perfect. And they look better than any "sneaker", more like a classy "walking shoe".

This was my first time trying Eccos; have heard so much about them. This shoe was fine; a very pretty and versatile greenish-gray. The materials appear sturdy and the shoe was well made. They would work well with just about any pant for a casual or business casual look. Was a little surprised at how "flat" and hard the footbed felt, though. I think if I kept them I'd need to add something to cushion. If you don't need lots of cushion, these might work well.

I was looking for a shoe with some support for the bones at the ball of my foot, and I found it in this shoe. It may feel lumpy at first but that is just because of the extra support. This really helps to prevent inflammation of the tendons going to my big toe. The water-proofing is not hot; it just keeps out all the water I encounter on dewy grass, rain-slicked sidewalks, and puddly trails. Plus it looks great. This is my new everyday, everywhere shoe.

I was really hoping these shoes would work out. I've been wearing ECCO shoes for several years and needed a new pair for going on walks. With so many reviews stating that these shoes were really comfortable I decided to try them. Unfortunately, like one other reviewer, I did not find them to be comfortable at all. In fact, the footbed was so hard it felt like there was no cushioning at all. There is no way I could comfortably walk for any length of time in these shoes, and we walk on paved trails, not rugged terrain. I had them on for two minutes and couldn't wait to take them off. I don't have any foot issues, but I do want something that's comfortable. I've never had ECCO shoes that felt like this before. I'm a size 10, or a 41, medium width, and while they did fit, I often find that shoes with European sizing are too big or too small, even within the same style but in a different color, which are often made in different countries. I purchased the black ones here and I'm wondering if all the reviews are for the black shoes or possibly for different colors? Very Disappointing.

They looked good but they were so stiff--I'm just too old for breaking in shoes--I did that too much in my youth and I'm no longer willing to sacrifice for fashion!

I love these shoes! I’ve worn Ecco Chase shoes for years. I was so happy to see that Ecco is making them again! I purchased the black ones on sale. It’s a matte leather that looks great. They are true to size with light arch support.

I have had this same style only in a different color, so this is my 2nd pair. It is the most comfortable shoe ever! I can wear all day long and have when I’ve traveled. I like the fact it is dressier than my regular sneakers. So happy with this brand:-)

Excellent quality, true to size, and goes with everything casual (especially when you don't want to wear athletic shoes or boots). This is my second pair, just different color.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

Looked very large on my feet and were about a full size larger than my normal size. Pretty comfortable despite the size difference.

Loved the look of these shoes but they were too narrow and too small. They went back and I’ll keep looking!

I love the sleek look of this shoe. More importantly, it’s comfortable. What really works for me is that because the lacing goes so far up into the toe box, I can keep that area loose while tightening the shoe on the rest of the foot. I did half to order a 91/2 instead of a 9.

First rime with LEATHER sneakers. So far so good.

I love the look of these shoes. The gray color and style will go with any casual wear. I'm a young, trim and fit 71 years old. My husband loves them and says I will be the cutest at the old folks home. They run narrow, good for me and my long narrow feet. Heel fit is great for me for I have a hard to fit very narrow heel. With the lacing, they can be loosened. The arch is quite modest, also good for me because my arch never fits built-in arches. The insole is removeable. The sole is hard, but a softer insole would help that. I'm not too old to break them in; I'll just wear them in short bursts. I have another, old pair of Eccos, looking a bit worn, but which I have loved and which have the same fit. These shoes aren't for hiking, but for wearing in town or shopping, I have found them to be comfortable.

Shoe fit fairly well for my narrow foot and my orthotic fit. The shoe tongue is connected to the shoe so when you lace it the tongue folds under to lace. After wearing them, the tongue on one shoe really hurt the top of my foot. Had to return.

I wanted these shoes to feel great so badly. I love the look. The 37 was too big & the 36 too small, they tried to eat my feet. It’s probably just my foot being in between sizes. I was really sad to have to return these shoes.

A comfortable pair of shoes. They come in good quality, look good, they can be dressed up or down depending on what you need.

They are a bit stiff and will need to be broken in slowly. They are comfy and they fit well.

The shoes are a little high cut

Felt bulky and no cushion at the ball of the foot

little arch support, and no padding under ball of foot. I am a fan if Ecco Golf shoes, but these were not the same quality.
