Fit: About a half size small. I'm a 10.5 in Vans Sk8 Hi (MTE), and an 11 in these fits very similarly. (Specifically the Taxwood style, if that matters.) I'm an 11 in some other Vans styles as well, usually due to width, but I need the 11 in these for length, so they're definitely slightly shorter. I have Vans Hi Standard Linerless snowboard boots in size 11 as well, but these are slightly shorter than those as well. It's also a higher volume fit than other Vans styles, including snowboard boots. I need to cinch up the laces to keep my foot from wandering around inside, but I guess if you're into thick winter socks that's probably a good thing. I wear thin wool socks, and my heel definitely moves around in these. Comfort: The lower is fully rubberized, so they're not as flexible as normal Vans shoes, obviously. But the rubber is pretty thin and soft, so they're probably the most flexible snow boots I've ever owned. The uppers are super floppy, so don't get these expecting to use them for snowboarding or anything like that. The laces and tongue put a little pressure on the top of my foot if I tighten them up, but I would guess the tongue will "learn" to lie flat there as they break in. Function: Fine? The materials are waterproof and the tongue is gusseted to keep out water. My feet stay pretty warm anyway, but these are pretty slim for winter boots, so I don't think you can expect them to do as well as a really serious boot. For a boot slim enough to drive in, they're warm enough. I can snowskate in these, but there's less board feel than a Sk8 Hi MTE. They're not replacing my heavy winter boots for super cold days, but they're good for shoveling snow and goofing around outside. Overall: If a Sorel snow boot and a pair of Vans Sk8 His had weird boot babies, this is what you'd get. Comfortable, flexible (for a snow boot), light weight, and look great. Good for casual winter usage, but probably not going to cut it for serious winter hiking or sitting around outside in crazy cold weather.

I bought these for fat biking and they absolutely kill it! They are warm and super comfy. A little snug out of the box but they packed out just right after a few rides. No heel rub or hot spots, they fit perfectly. They're a little bulky but not quite as big as Sorel pack boots. Wide surface area for great sole to pedal contact. The Vans outsole provides an amazingly sticky grip. You can really crank when you have to and your foot feels secure. I use them with Race Face Chester pedals. Great purchase A++

Sweet snow boots with the vans skater style! Note - these boots run small. I’m a size 10 all day long but needed to upsize to a 10.5.

Very wide and very short so unless your foot is a perfect square, your toes will probably hit the front. Sizing up to accommodate the short toe box leaves them so loose and roomy that your feet slide around. They were cute (more substantial than I realized) but I didn't get to try them in the snow because I couldn't find a pair that fit properly

So bummed. These are super cute! I really want a pair. But I don't want to have to keep purchasing and send back due to size. Read previous reviews to size up. I wear a 8 and bought a 9. My toes were smashed. I want to buy another pair but not sure if I need a 9.5 or 10..

Have to exchange. I have many pairs of Vans sneakers and the boots do not fit the same. Need to go up half a size.

Love mine!! Buy a half size bigger. I'm a 9 and they were too small. Returned them and got a 9.5. Perfect fit!! Highly recommend!

They fit a bit small as other reviewers said. I'm normally an 11.5, but sized up and got the 12. They were snug when I first got them. They loosened up a bit and now fit me perfectly. Good quality- warm and waterproof.

I work as a lift operator at a ski resort. I am outside all day for my job. These boots are comfortable and keep my feet warm. I get compliments on my boots and would recommend them to others.

If you're going to wear with thicker/Regular socks go a size bigger!!!!!! half a size bigger was not enough. Very warm and very comfortable!!! I live in Wisconsin so I think Im a good judge for the warmth.

I needed a boot to throw on after snowmobiling, and this fit the bill perfectly. Easy to slip into for the ride home.

I love these boots! I got them for myself as a Christmas gift. Living in Colorado, a nice pair of boots is necessary. These are great! They grip well and are super water proof. They are snug and I sized up (usually an 8.5 women's, went to a 9) due to availability but I'm happy I did. Perfect room for thicker socks. Also, the inner part of the boots are removeable to be washed and help with room for calves. Super happy with these. I also took the time to leave this review and take pictures so that says something!

It barely arrived, I used it on a rainy day and little snow and it's fantastic. I bought it with the size number that I always use and it fit me perfectly

This is my first ever pair of Vans, and these boots are amazing! Super comfy & warm, and not overly heavy like most winter boots.
