Customer Reviews New Balance Nitrel v4

I read all the reviews and I ordered a half size larger. So instead of my normal 6.5, I ordered a 7. As soon as I pulled it out of the box I knew... it looked like a 6. The shoe is great looking and so comfortable but I would need to have ordered a 7.5 for it to fit right. Something is up with NB sizing as this is the 3rd pair I am returning. Bought a Brooks and keeping them. Going to give NB a break for now.

Sadly I am returning these as they seem too small in the toe box area... I have to wear special arch inserts and with them in, the shoe seemed tight in the toe area... I want to exchange for wider width... love the color...

Love these shoes. I’ve tried Nike’s but I always go back to New Balance. I have a foot that’s on the wider side and these are perfect. Light weight and super comfy.

Absolutely love these sneakers! Love the design. Depending on the sneaker I can wear 8.5 or 9. Went with a 9 in these and they are perfect!

I almost always wear a 7-1/2, but needed an 8 in these. Love the color and comfort.

I'm happy with my purchase. The shoes are very comfortable and have a nice stable feel to them when you walk. I walk a lot in the city everyday and in the parks with my very energetic dog. They feel good on both the street sidewalks and the terrain in the parks.

Very happy with these shoes! As other reviewers have mentioned, I would order at least 1/2 size up from your usual. I have wide feet with extremely high arches and finding comfortable running shoes is a challenge. These are very comfortable for me, and provide enough support and cushioning to be gentle on my knees. They are cushioned enough for pavement but have enough traction and flex to be excellent for trail runs. I like these so much I will be ordering a second pair in another color!

I ordered a half size bigger than i normally wear as suggested in the reviews, and they fit perfectly! Definitely order a half size larger.

Love the look and comfort of these shoes

I loved the look of this shoe, so I took a chance and ordered them in my normal 11w size even though some other reviews stated that they ran small. I tried them on and have been wearing around the house today with no issues. They are comfortable and fit just as well as any other NB 11wide that I’ve purchased in the past. I would recommend this shoe.

This is my first pair of New Balance shoes. I do a ton of walking and always wear a running shoe. Have worn Nike in the past but thought I would try another brand. These fit and feel great! Comfortable, light weight, lots of stability and cushioning which I need. I feel like I could walk for miles and miles. I ordered the size I usually order which is a 10 but in a wide to accommodate bunion on left foot. Jackpot....Highly recommend!

These are very comfortable and stylish

The shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I have lower back problems, and have to wear running shoes when I play tennis and pickleball. Love them!

These sneakers are good looking and have a good outer sole for walks in the woods. The inner sole was a little too hard and rough for my taste , especially without socks. I prefer the feel of a softer inner sole.

i sized up to a 10 from a normal 9-9.5 and they fit just right. they DEFINITELY run short. i ordered the wide because i prefer space. no comment on the arch support as i use my own inserts. there's a bit of contact between my big toe and the top of the shoe but it doesn't bother me - even with my inserts. these are really comfortable and i love them for both light trail and road walking/running. i recommend them.

When I saw the color of these shoes I immediately ordered them. I am usually between a 9.5 and 10 and ordered a 10 thinking that would be fine as I had read reviews stating to order a half size up. Well, they were tight and ended up boxing my toes so I did end up getting a half size larger and these feel much better. I haven't ran in them yet, but plan to and will update my review. I'm a huge fan of New Balance shoes and if you are considering getting these shoes - just definitely order a half size up! Wonderful customer service from Zappos as always.

Very colorful shoe! I thought I wanted a trail shoe, for all my outside work, but these felt some what clunky to me, probably because I'm use to a more cushion E type shoe. They did feel some what shorter and narrower in the toe box than my other New Balance. Seems it's always a real quest to find that perfect shoe, or could be my picky old age now, but I find one that I love and works good for me, and then the company goes and changes it, it's so frustrating. Thank you Zappos for making shoe shopping easy!

Cons: They felt weirdly heavy and did not offer the amount of arch support I'm used to from New Balance. I think I could have gotten used to the weird heaviness but ultimately decided to return because not enough arch support and I have plantar fasciitis. My arches are always throbbing so I really needed to feel more support. I think the shoes were pretty cute so too bad it didn't work out.

Are a full size too small. Never had this problem with NB before.

The fit of this shoe is perfect for me. I was having a hard time finding a shoe that didn't hurt my feet during exercise and on long walks. These feel like you're walking on clouds the whole time.
