I've been an avid hiker for over 4 decades and have worn a wide variety of hiking boots. I bought a pair of these boots 9 months ago. They are the very best I've worn. They were comfortable right out of the box and did not need any breaking in. True to size, very comfortable, strong solid grip on many trail surfaces and have proven their waterproofness. The lacing system works well and allows a variety compression points/areas. Their design also allows quick secure mounting and removal of gaiters, micro spikes and crampons. Best of all and a true indicator of their excellent design and manufacture is that I forget that I have them on as I ramble through the backcountry. Well done to all concerned!

Fully water proof, great laces and options for tying depending on how you like it to support your ankle. Not super insolated but they have the right shape/volume to accommodate an extra layers of socks and some soles making them good for cross season use.

After returning boots from brand K and brand M, I purchased these, in size 15. They're super-comfy right out of the box, with room for toes. Jeans fit over the top and they're not bulky in the front, which with my big feet makes a difference. These mid-weight hikers are just what I needed for winter and will be great for summer trails too.

So far so good. I have only taken these boots out on a couple of trails so far. They grip the trail well and protect my ankles well. Hiked through a large rock field and they aren't even scuffed up yet. The sole is cushioned well

Great hiking boot. Excellent ankle support. Feet stay dry and comfortable. I bought one pair and then a second pair before they were sold out. The Titanium products are excellent.

Was looking for a comfortable pair of shoes just not hiking but casual in fall, winter and spring. These boots fits all need. Looks great with casual pants and also rugged for trails. Great comfort on feet when ever I'm wearing them and so light. Feel great on feet

Comfortable and good looking boots, time will tell how they hold up. Vibram soles are a must.

Construction seems solid, but can't comment on long term durability yet. I could feel upper lace grommets and thought ankle needed more cushion, but after break in with a few hikes that was no longer an issue. Leather held up well so far with heavy abuse doing trail work. One major problem: combination of triangle lace grommets and large squishy laces make these impossible to get tight. Fortunately replacing laces with smaller or less squishy laces fixes this. I used some tent guyline I had laying around and it worked well and I may try some of those Iron Laces in the future. 20 some river crossings boots didn't leak at all (shallow) until I went over ankle, then were completely dry in morning. Overall happy with the purchase, solid and comfy boot with reasonable weight. Will update on durability in the future.

Excellent boot...lightweight and comfy...only issue is the upper grommets that the laces go through stock out a little far!

First the good: 1) The shoes are waterproof. I got them all wet during a hike but my feet were nice and warm. 2) I happened to step on a cactus spike about a inch long or so. I felt a bump in the inside but the tip of the spike never reached my foot. The shoes afford good protection.
Now the bad: 1) The top of the rubber toe guards were coming undone. A little Gorilla glue took care of the issue. The quality control for the gluing process must be improved. 2) The metal eyelets do not allow for easy tieing of the shoe laces. If metal eyelets are to be used, then round eyelets should be used, not triangular. 3) The three shoe laces metal hooks at the top are overkill. Two would be sufficient.

Front toe rubber weld on both shoes came loose on 2nd wearing. Would expect better from Columbia's top of line boots.
I was going to use these for a future more involved hike, but with weld failing while i'm still breaking the shoe in, i'll be looking for another option.
Other than that, shoes were comfortable, solid vibram sole, true to size and nice upper leather. The sole is a bit soft if you are looking for a heavy duty hiker for rocky terrain - but that is mostly preference. Softness did make them more comfortable.
