I've had this thermos for a couple years it does fine when its closed... But when you loosen the cap to pour it fills my cup holder with coffee... I keep the seals clean and the thermos clean... Can't find new stopper anywhere... Just tired of getting coffee stains on my jeans from the bottom of my cup... I'm a long haul truck driver...

The whole quality has dropped, even the stopper is not working as accurately as it did before. It pours all over the place, no holding hot inside neither sturdy as old style. It is time to start looking somewhere else for new comers, which hopefully copy the quality over the colorful new business model you are preaching to have

I just bought this stanley 1.1 qt two weeks ago because I am a hunter that spends on the average about 9-10 hours in my deer stand. You advertise keeps liquids hot for 28 hours. I am very disappointed on the quality mine might make it 61/2 - 7 hours. After that the liquid is just luke warm. This was a waste of my money.

I bought it and thought I had the perfect thermos. It keep the warm for a long time but mine leak from the inner lid when pouring water. It leaks from where the threading is and you are supposed to be able to pour water out of the lid without any leaking I suppose. I have almost as much water in my lap as in my cup.
Customer service have totally neglected me since I contacted them.

Ran a temperature test yesterday, put boiling water in the 1.1 Qt vacuum bottle, temperature gauge showed 200 degrees. an hour later it was 190 degrees, four hours later down to 135 degrees. In other words the product does NOT keep coffee hot for 24 hours. After 8 hours down to 95 degrees.

I have a Stanley 1 quart thermos, and have had it for several years. The stopper busted on me a few months ago. I am unable to find a stopper locally, and I can't even find one here on their website. So I guess I'll have to go buy a thermos brand, and Coleman thermos bottle

Had a few over the years but this last one seems not to hold temp very well. I fill it with coffee and less than 6 hours the last cup is almost room temp. Seems that quality has really gone down. This is the second one I feel that loses temp as per ads about 24 hrs.

I got a thermos in 2003 for gift it worked great for many years until recently. It will only keep my coffee hot for about a hour or two. I looked online for the warranty information. Submitted all information and emailed to (info@stanley-pmi.com.) and still have not got a response yet. Poor product, Poor Warranty ! Buyer Beware

Bought this a few weeks ago for hunting. Last night I made some hot apple cider in it, sealed it nice and tight, and put it in my bag in my room for the next day. Woke up this morning (6 hours later) and it had already turned to room temperature. The main reason I bought it was to keep drinks warm.

unfortunately we had to have the first one replace after 2 years & now the replacement is not keeping anything warm. It states lifetime warranty. That is if you can get some to reply to you. Trying to find out who you need to contact is Australia is a fulltime job

I have bought one in my country last year.
We used to store hot water. The cap has started to change color and became a very light green and powdery. The water started to taste bad. A good oje but for the price and length of usage. A big No!

I only selected 1 Star, because it was required. I used my 1.5 Qt classic for the first time on a trip. On the road for slightly over 4 hours, after filling initially with steaming hot coffee, and looking forward for same. Poured into my mug finding it to be cold.

I am not impressed. 40 hour hot? I have 2 older Stanley that are rated 24 hours that do a lot better job of keeping coffee hot. The older 1.1 capacity.

It's cool looking. Nostalgic and all my dad had one used to take it fishing all the time. I don't know know if the new ones made in China aren't as good as the ones back in the good ol' days made in the USA but the one I have after 4 hours my hot tea or coffe is like warm.

I used this bottle all throughout the winter to keep my tea warm all day. It's incredibly effective. However within a year of my purchase the rubber O-ring that helps insulate and ensure the spill-proof qualities of the bottle snapped. I have emailed numerous times about a replacement part, but have met with NO RESPONSE. For what should be a pretty simple fix, I'm disappointed that the company can't mail me out a replacement O-ring. The bottle is great, but without an O-ring it's essentially useless to me. I'm disappointed.

I recently purchased the CLASSIC VACUUM INSULATED BOTTLE | 1.1 QT and it leaks out the cap after it is filled with hot coffee.
Yes, the cap is tight.
