I searched high and low to find a pair of slippers to replace the tempur-pedic slippers I bought several years ago (and still love although they're looking very worn). I tried on a popular UGGs pair (similar to these in style) but the 8 was too small and the 9 too big. I finally decided on these in an 8 in black (I usually wear an 8.5 in shoes with an occasional size 8). I love the look of the slippers - unlike the UGGs they look fitted and sleek. The 8 is a tiny bit on the snug size but I decided to keep them since I knew a 9 would definitely be too big. The bad news - they're just not that comfortable. The part of the shoe that goes across the top of my foot is very uncomfortable and stiff - there's no padding so it starts almost cutting into my foot after awhile, and after wearing them for an hour or two I always end up switching back to my old tempur-pedic slippers (which were always comfortable right out of the box). Also, after only 4 weeks of light wear - and only indoors, around the house - I've noticed the suede has worn completely off on the lower front (almost 1/4 inch right above the sole) of one of the slippers. For such an expensive slipper (that otherwise appears to be very well-made) I find this very disappointing. Sadly, they aren't going to last long if that's how they're holding up after only 4 weeks and maybe 12-15 hours a week of wear.

Very comfortable and very well-made. As another reviewer pointed out, these slippers have a washable footbed -- a hard-to-find feature, but great for longevity and for just keeping things cozy & tidy in the long run. I feel like I'll own these for years. Another plus is the streamlined profile - the vamp comes up far enough to keep the top of your feet properly warm, while maintaining a trim loafer vibe. I also tried the Ugg moccasins, which were super comfy, but just looked a bit big and bulky on my not-small feet. I wear a 10.5 normally; for me the 10 was perfect and 11 was a bit too big.

I was debating between these and an LL bean pair, and I am so glad I chose on Olukai. What sold them for me was the washable footbed. I was concerned that the footbed itself would be itchy because of its wool-blend, but they are so incredibly soft inside. They truly exceeded my expectations and are worth the price. The only issue I had was with the sizing. I am a true 9.5 and so I first got a 9 since I prefer my shoes to be snug. The 9's turned out to be way too snug. I ordered the size 10 and they fit great, no heel slipping, and not too spacious. I can't recommend these slippers enough!

These are the best slippers I’ve ever owned and I think possibly even the most comfortable things I’ve put on my feet! The fit is perfect - I’m a 9 and the 9 is just right. These are “snug” in the sense that I can’t slip them on without using my a hand to get the heel on, (so more like a shoe) but that’s what keeps them from slipping off my heel. And I cannot tell you how much I love the optional fold-down back! I wear them with the back folded down when I need to put them on quickly. You do feel a bump under the heel but I don’t find it uncomfortable. I probably wouldn’t wear it like that all the time, but it’s an excellent feature as an option. The footbed is SO soft. I thought it would be scratchy but it’s just as soft as fleece-lined slippers. Arch support is nice. Probably not quite as solid as a good pair of shoes but pretty great as slippers go. The mahogany color is beautiful! I “settled” for brown because it was that or Black but I really like the color. It’s got a burgundy tinge that makes them different from plain brown. I also feel like these look fitted on my feet instead of giant and puffy. I considered the LL Bean slippers but the outer fur was really puffy. These look nice and slim on my feet. I love these so much that if they wear well over the next few months, I plan to buy my husband a pair and gift these next Christmas to a few people! I’ll probably explore this brand a bit more. It’s clear these are well designed with thoughtful touches - that always says good things about a brand to me. Couldn’t be happier - worth the money!!!

These slippers are the best! The leather is very soft and the lining is fluffy and super warm. The elastic sides make for a perfect fit, snug so my feet don't slide around but not too tight, and the sizing is true to size. I appreciate the arch support and it has nice cushioning. I also really like that the foot bed is removable for washing when the slippers get dirty (or stinky!). And the rubber non-slip outsole lets me get the mail or something in the garage without worrying about damaging the slipper. Highly recommend!

THESE. ARE. PERFECT!! I was so ready to be disappointed as I keep trying various Uggs only to have to return them for one reason or another. I put one on out of the box and seriously said something out loud - maybe an ahhhh. I wear a 9, got a 9. Perfect fit, cozy, warm and comfortable. I wish I'd been able to order something besides black other colors were sold out.

Perfect slipper for warm feet! Material is perfect medium weight and soft, the sole is perfect to check your mail, run trash out, etc.. but not too stiff to break in. Great!

These are beautiful and comfortable slippers. I had a bad foot injury a few years ago and they did not provide enough arch support for me so unfortunately I sent them back. The sole is relatively thin compared to Uggs. My husband wears this brand and loves all the shoes and slippers he has. I think if you don't need strong arch support these are fabulous and beautiful slippers.
I'd also recommend:

I was worried when I first put these on as they were very comfy, yet slipped a bit on my heel, but after a few minutes, my feet settled in and the slippers are great! No heel slippage, and warm fuzziness abounds! The soles are great on our wood floors, I am very happy to have tried these out.

I love these. I normally order Ugg slippers, but their quality has declined so much. This pair of slippers doesn't have a lot of support but they are war and comfortable. They look much better. They are not so large and bulky.

The OluKai - Ku'una slippers are great to relax in after coming home from work or just lounging around. They are soft, warm, and feel great without socks. They are true to size and high quality. I enjoy wearing them every night before bed.

I ordered both an 8 and a 9 in this slipper and kept the 9. For reference, in sandals and flip flops I usually wear an 8, in closed toed shoes an 8-1/2, and in boots a 9 to accommodate thick socks. The size 9 was just a bit loose but I think I've solved that by adding a thin Dr. Scholl's insole under the slipper insole. I am always struggling to find footwear for my sore feet. A number of years ago I developed plantar faciitis and then a very small bone spur on one of my heels. It's a bad idea for me to go barefoot. At home during the day I often wear Vionic flip flops which have pretty aggressive arch support. By comparison these Olukai slippers have little, but there is a slight arch in the insole itself. The sheepskin is soft and soothing on the sides of my feet. What would I change to give a 5 star rating? A sheepskin insole, half sizes, and no maker label stitched to the insole. (Why do designers do that?!)

I am SO happy I found these slippers! They are the most comfortable I've ever worn (I've been wearing Uggs for years) and I have had pain issues for many years (neuromas, heel spurs, and more). These slippers fit right out of the box and because I work at home, I wear them all day and night, every day. I almost forget to change to outdoor shoes when I go out. Worth the price!

I FINALLY found the perfect slipper after searching for years! I bought these after foot surgery. I usually wear a size 7 or 7-1/2, but I bought an 8 for swelling, and was able to wear them immediately. So soft and comfortable on the inside! My feet tend to sweat quite a bit and the insole in these keep my feet dry. If I bought another pair, I would now probably buy the 7. Love!

I love these so much! Bought a backup pair. These won my contest where I tried 10 slippers. Warm but not sweaty, covers my feet without being a boot, nice grip and comfortable sole support.

I have been shopping with Zappos for more than -5 years and have NEVER written a review until now. These are the best slippers I have ever worn. Expensive? Yes. Worth every penny? Yes. Am I buying another pair right now? Yes. So comfortable I can’t believe it. I love them.

These slippers are so well made and extremely comfortable. The leather is so soft like the outside of a peach and the lining is beautiful. The soles have such great traction you can wear them outside. When I put them on you didn't feel like anything was on your feet. They are extremely comfortable and make your feet seem more relaxed. The top on each side has an elastic tab that adjusts to your foot size. I have never had nor seen such a well made pair of slippers with the feel and comfort that the Ku'una slippers give you. Another feature is that these slippers are warranted for 1 year. I would definitely recommend these for anyone who has tired feet and wants to enjoy pure luxury wearing a beautiful pair of slippers.

The fit was good (size and width). I was expecting a firmer and thicker insole like something from Tempur-pedic (like I've had in the past). The Tempur-pedic style I loved for years in no longer available so I tried these. They are comfy and I plan to get plenty of use from them. It has a nice rubber outer sole so I can fetch the newspaper in the morning. The outer material is soft and I really like the color. The price was higher than I wanted to spend but I also wanted the comfort. Will see how long they last....

When I took them out of the box I thought they looked narrow. They fit like they were made for my foot. Very comfortable. I have problems with my feet. Bunion, large bone spur on top of my foot, and a heel spur. Ouch! Miserable wearing shoes. I hated to take these slippers off! They are very comfortable. The pale pink is pale so if you don’t want “pink slippers” these are very acceptable. I think I will stay with this brand.

Ordered these slippers for the lovely color and was pleasantly surprised by the fit. Have narrow feet and most slippers are difficult to keep on without wearing socks. The insole is wool, very comfortable. Happy to slide into without socks. Highly recommend!
