The foot bed was off. The arch is too far forward. The ball of my foot rests on the arch. I’ve owned multiple pairs of Birks and never experience this. I was also disappointed that the shearling is only on the bottom of the foot and not through out the entire shoe.

Love these for around the house. Not much tread so a little slippy on freshly Swiffered kitchen floors. But snuggly and the usual Birkie great support. Dog fur definitely sticks to the felt uppers, but I don’t mind. Terrific at-home quarantine shoes. Stay safe, all!

Fit exactly as expected from Birkenstock in my usual size. Lightweight, yet sturdy with the same arch support found in other Birkenstock styles. Has a warm shearling lining in the footbed. Boiled wool uppers and a very stable outer sole. I love these and was so pleased to find them at Zappo's. If you're looking for a cozy and supportive pair of slippers, consider these.

I was looking for a slipper with more arch support and I tried several varieties, but this is the one I'm keeping. It's comfortable, warm, and looks great. I'm a size 7M, but I wear a 38 Regular in the Birk Arizona sandals, so I was a bit unsure about these only coming in Narrow... but the 38 Narrow fits really well, even with medium-thick wool socks. So for me, I didn't need to go up a size. Compared to the Boston Shearling which I also tried, but was too small and I needed to go up a size in that one. Even these Zermatts in 38, the toe box is just a little bit more spacious than the Boston Shearling in 39 and that little bit of extra space makes this one much more comfortable for me. And warmer for my toes since my toes are not being squished, even though the shearling on these is only on the foot bed. So as someone with a medium width foot who is used to wider Birk sandals, this one fit me much better and is much more true to size than the Boston Shearling. And the support is a big improvement over my previous warm-but-kinda-floppy Geisswein slippers! The charcoal is a very nice looking deep gray, too. Hopefully the soles will last, but they are definitely more slipper-like than the normal Birk soles. Adding a photo to show where my heel ends up in the overall length, it feels perfect.

I searched high and low to find these slippers in my size. Zappos did not disappoint; I got them quickly and in a color I liked. Despite having several pair of Birks, these ones did nit work for me. My feet slid and my toes jammed into the front. Even when I put on thick socks, something was weird about the front of the toe box that make them uncomfortable. Sadly, I sent them back.

I wanted to love these, but the shearling made them so small compared to other birks, that they were impossible to put on my size 42 foot (Flat wide feet with a high instep). This is the first time I couldn't buy a pair of Birkenstocks, hopefully one of the others with an adjustable strap will work.

Very comfortable, but 1 year later, wool is wearing away, and there is a hole. I didn't expect from Birk and at this price.

Haven’t even gotten 3 months out of these. Already wearing through the lining. Also, hurts my second toe because the angle of the toe box tapers too steeply so if your second to is as long as your big toe then it bumps. And finally, the arch support is too high and hard.

This show makes an excellent slipper. I went one size up from my normal Birk size so that my fluffy socks could fit in when I wear them and it was a great decision. The shearling is only on the bottom of the shoe (on the footbed) if that makes a difference to you as you shop.

These are the best slippers that I’ve ever had! I’ve worn Birkenstock’s since the 70s, and a 39 Narrow has always fit perfectly, so knew these would fit. I tried many clog style slippers, even the most expensive, but none fit my narrow feet until now. I’m a teacher working from home and so happy that I quickly purchased these as soon as I saw them.

I wish I could leave these on all day. They are a perfect fit (meaning I wear a 10/10.5 or 41, and my foot fits perfectly inside), but they JUST fit by a hair. I have an average foot and bought a narrow. I do wear socks here and there to try and stretch them out a bit. I’ve had them for about a week and with everyday wear, they are becoming more comfortable. I do wear them all day around the house everyday and they are so warm. If your feet are always cold, GET THESE! Also, my husband says they’re Ninja slippers because he can never hear me walking around the house in them.

As others mentioned, the fit is a bit narrow. But after wearing them, I think it may be designed that way to trap heat around the foot. It’s been ages since I’ve worn Birkenstock mules though, so I can’t say for sure. Regardless, i still have enough room to wear a thick pair of socks and they’re pretty comfortable. I guess my only gripe about these is that they’re comfy like Birkenstock’s, but not comfy like slippers. These will definitely last for YEARS and all things considered, they’re what I expected and I love these.

Just love these Berk slippers! The style and color caught my eye first. I really like the asymmetrical side seam and the charcoal gray wool is gorgeous. They are as comfy as my berk summer sandals, warm but not sweaty for Michigan winters, and fit my sz 10.5 foot perfectly. I ordered the narrow and my foot stays right in place with or without socks. 5 stars all around.

I love these slippers. For about 10 years I have purchased an Australian slipper that was all shearling, but I wanted more support since I’m wearing slippers more often due to pandemic. These slippers have same footbed and arch support that I love in my Birk sandals. I do find them, after wearing a bit, to loosen up - so my only complaint is that my narrow foot now slides forward and jams into the top of the slipper when I walk. The front of the slipper is more like a shoe (and not like a slipper) and is hard and unforgiving and can hurt when my toes hit it. If you do not have narrow feet, you will be fine.

Love these- they replaced my worn out ugg slippers. Love the look, and the shearling interior is comfy, while the sole is durable enough for a quick step outside.

This is an excellent slipper and is well made. I'm returning it because it is very large on me. I need it now, and should have ordered a smaller size in terms of width and length. It appears to run a little large in both.

Great! Very comfy and warm.Birk wearer..only con is the color of exterior/interior. Both have gotten dirty and difficult to clean.

Obsessed! I have multiple colors and wear as everyday shoes, not slippers. Perfect shoe for Minnesota fall/winter/spring.

These slippers are exactly what I needed. The red/black plaid is so cute. The fleece lining is wonderful and the support for my plantar fasciitis is excellent. Since I’ve just gotten them it remains to be seen how well they hold up; the sole is thin. I was concerned that the narrow wouldn’t fit but it’s perfect for my medium width foot. Delighted to have found them.

I love these! Typical great Birkenstock fit, wide toe box, low flat sole, comfortable lining, beautiful brown color. I have a previous, unlined, similar pair of Birkenstock slippers, which are my house shoes in the cooler months. Wanted something a little warmer, plus I was ready for a new color. Thought I'd have to get the wider width because of the shearing lining, but the regular "narrow" fit my foot just fine. My foot is wide for regular women's shoes, but just right for a Birkenstock narrow. I wear a size 11 in women's shoes, a size 12 in women's running shoes, size 9-10 in men's shoes, and a size 42 in Birkenstock's. As another reviewer mentioned, an added plus is the almost silent sound of the soles, for when I'm up before everyone else in the morning. They're not meant for outdoors, but the dipped sole seems like it will be fine for brief jaunts on concrete.

The only slipper I could find with strong arch support. And I tried about two dozen until I caved in and spent the money on these. Money very well spent!

Birkenstock slippers. My life is compete. My feet are narrow, and the fit perfectly. I suspect others will have to stretch them out a bit.

This is a great comfort to my feet while working from home

I bought these to be my "house shoes" as we try not to wear our shoes in the house, and my feet need good support throughout the day. These have worked perfectly, with the caveat that I do wear wool socks with them, which compensate for them being a bit wider than fits my feet. Good arch support, comfort, and warmth.
