These are quality shoes, and I really hope Dansko makes more styles with a pointed toe! However, the ARE NOT 1 1/2 inch high heels as listed- they are about 2.25 inch heels. I have a bum ankle and can't walk in anything over an inch and a half, and wish that had been accurate. Additionally the "luggage" color is not as shown. It is not a rich orange brown, it is more of a beige brown color in person.

These are the cutest and most comfortable shoes I’ve EVER owned. Right out of the box I wore them all day with no blisters, and that in itself is amazing because I have extremely sensitive skin and always get blisters on my heels when wearing new shoes. The arch is not as pronounced on these as with most Dansko shoes and that’s a good thing for me because they sometimes make the arch area of my foot hurt. I have wide feet and these accommodate them perfectly. They may not fit narrow feet. The size is true. I love the stylish pointed toe but there is still room for my toes to spread out without being cramped. And last but not least, I usually hate to wear closed toe shoes because my toes are really sensitive and my feet inevitably slide forward in most shoes and touch the front of the shoe and then get sore. The ankle strap on these prevent my feet from sliding forward. All in all they are the perfect shoe and look great with leggings, cropped pants and skirts. I have the black and it’s a great matte color. I’ll be purchasing the fig color, too!

These shoes are very comfortable. I like the look of the ankle strap for work. I have a neuroma at the front of my foot so I chose these shoes for the support with style. They are working out great. Due to the neuroma I added a cushion insert at the front of the shoe. Definitely keeping these. I will also add that I tend to like wider shoes and these fall a bit on the wider side.

This is an excellent shoe, I really like the more pointed toe, but the toe box is still large. I have arthritis in my feet and shoes are tough, but this is the perfect mix of comfort and flattering appearance. I will likely buy another pair. Worth the price, and a nice flexible sole for a Dansko, some are too stiff for me. I work in a hospital and do a bit of walking and love the quiet tread on the bottom. I found the ankle strap comfortable as well not too loose or tight. I wear 11 in closed toe shoes, and these were not too large as some European sizes run a bit

This is a beautiful shoe, well made, however not a style for me. I am a big fan of Dansko shoes. Usually the footbed accommodates my toe separator and bunions. Perhaps because this style is more pointed in the toe-bed I felt tight and uncomfortable. The leather is stiff. I was disappointed because the style is so pretty and apparently waterproof. I will not give up on Dansko, one major reason being that Zappos is so accommodating, helpful, reliable, and a pleasure.

When I first put them on, they felt very big - both length and width - but as the day went on, my feet grew and they felt better. Without the ankle strap they would fly off my feet. I have narrow heels and a medium bunion on my right foot. Plus high arches, so they can use a bit more support but they are better than most. I wore them all day and felt comfortable at the end of the day - that’s so rare and I am thrilled to have found work shoes I can wear all day! Haven’t tested the waterproof feature yet, but it’s spring so I will test soon ;)

Love the color and craftsmanship is excellent. They are extremely comfortable.

This review is for women like me who have DANSKO dress shoes and boots when Dansko first moved from professional clogs; the toe bed was heavenly for "little fat feet" - not really fat, just wide through the toes. Also the shoe size had a good instep. I can understand the company's need to guarantee market share by having narrower widths, but I am mourning the loss of style and attention to those who first formed their customer base. SHAYLEE is made of a beautifully soft and buffed leather, the strap is sexy and has an interesting magnetic button with an attractive little brass bar that resembles the hook for holding the strap. The arch is good, it walks well and is very pretty. It was returned because the toe bed was narrower that tolerable for my feet, and worse, on the right, slightly larger foot, the curve of the toe cover did not extend over the big toe joint and already hurt. Sigh! I hate not having my needs for beauty AND comfort met. But good luck with this choice for those of you with medium width feeties.

Super comfy *and* cute! I wear these every day at my job as a nurse practitioner and my feet always feel great at the end of the day.

When I got them by courier, I put them on right away. Had to squeeze in my foot though, as they seemed a bit narrow and length was short as well. But I know after I put them through my wear testing, they'll stretch out a bit. Went out side and was caught in a rain storm, now I know I'm keeping this pair. This'll size them out, too.

I love these shoes! The most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn, right out of the box. The buckle on the strap hits my right ankle a little weird but loosening just a skosh makes all the difference. The width accommodates slight swelling with no discomfort?

I wear a size 6 1/2, ordered a size 37 and it’s a perfect fit. It is a comfortable shoe and I can wear dressier pants, skirt or dress. They look cute with jeans as well.

Good arch support, delightful design, love that the strap uses strong Velcro because it allows much more flexibility than a buckle, but am devastated to have to return these as they were significantly too short, a whole size perhaps. I’ve been wearing Dansko Fawna for years and was looking for a bit of a change.

looks, size and shoe fit are good. Unfortunately the strap presses right on my ankle. I had to return.

I bought these to wear for long haul standing/walking such as trade shoes because I’ve always had good luck with Dansko’s. These look more stylish than typical comfort shoes by far, especially nice with ankle or slimmer pant legs, and the height is perfect for a long day. I haven’t put them to the trade show test yesterday but they are super comfy, even a tad roomy in my opinion but not enough to slip off the back of my heel. I think these are a winner!

I loved these shoes and they fit perfectly, but I liked the other dressy shoe just a little bit better, so I returned this pair and kept the other pair.

These are much cuter in person than in photos and SO comfortable. I love these shoes.

These are absolutely gorgeous shoes. The leather is soft and the craftsmanship superb. Unfortunately, I was not able to make the ankle strap tight enough to give me stability. I also thought the Fig color would be more of a purple, but it is definitely brown. Sadly, they need to be returned. Even so, I would highly recommend them.

It felt surprisingly comfortable, considering I always buy a wide shoe. Other comments describing it as wide, plus being a Dansko, made me try it. The shoe color is closer to "plum" than I expected, and in broad daylight, it doesn't work for my wardrobe. The second issue for me is that the velcro is extraordinarily strong and therefore very tough to open.

Fit was great until they were broken in and now they are a half size too big! Plan for a lot of stretch! Great dressy style with Dansko comfort.

Unfortunately, because of my back issues The heel of the shoe is too high and I’m on an angle standing. I really like them but they’re not good for my back.

Great shoe in fog, outside of it squeaks... I loved the shoe so much I ordered a second pair in hopes I obtain a non-squeaking version! The Black and Tan versions were quiet and comfortable. A bit wide, but an insole can remedy it. For those with hip issues such as myself, this is a very attractive and comfortable shoe. Bunions, no worries, even with a pointy toe, it’s quite comfortable. High arches and high instep - again, no worries with this shoe. I purchased all three colors!

While I mostly like these shoes, I had to send them back. I refuse to wear shoes that have velcro as I'm not five years old. Dansko - why do you insist on using velcro for adult shoes? I would love these if they had a real buckle.
