These shoes were so cute that I wanted to keep them, but alas, I could only wear them with wool socks. I have a narrow heel and my feel had to much room with lighter weight socks. The suede looked great, but I worried that they might not get out as much as I hoped for since winters can be wet and slushy in Maryland.

The base of the shoe is too heavy, so when I walk, it slides downward/pulls at my heel. I have to return.

Love these shoes, wearable right out of the box. Very comfortable. Great look with pants. Bought black and taupe. Lace up shoes work best for me as I have issues with stability. These shoes look great, not orthopedic.

I am very happy with this shoe. The fit is right on and the comfort level is great. I can wear these all day without a problem. They look great with jeans!

I’m not one for wearing shoes with too much of a heel because me feet seem to always slide forward and my toes get smooshed. That doesn’t happen in these shoes. I like that the are lace ups so I can adjust the tightness the perfect amount to keep my feet in place. Because I’m not used to wearing shoes with any sort of heel, I appreciate the wedge heel sturdy feel. I got these to wear with skinny jeans and I think it’s a cute look -not very dressed up but something more than just casual.

Cute and comfortable. Yay! I have medium width feet that are "terrible" flat and overpronated and bunion on one foot and these work well for me. I think they would work for many.

The size is ok Just hope the width be little wider

as a long time dansko clog wearer I found myself looking for a shoe with all the wonderful comfort of a clog but I needed a lace up version for a more customized fit for lots of walking and these were perfect! a 4 mile walk right out of the box and they're really comfortable with the support I was looking for.

The size and fit are good. The boots are very comfortable right out of the box and they are reasonably stylish and appropriate for work. I must be a bit careful in walking because the heel is narrower than on the sandals I have been used to wearing.

These are really great. I ended up getting (and keeping) both colors. They fit true to size for Danskos for me and are super comfortable. They're really cute with jeans and leggings. They don't need any break in time either. Dansko had another pair of wedge booties like this a few years ago that these remind me of--I had those previously and my feet changed size due to pregnancy and couldn't wear them anymore. I had been looking for a replacement until I found these!

Honestly, I have ordered so many shoes and returned them...too big, too small, too narrow....these are perfect!! I love them. Nice quality and good looking. Wish they came in more colors...

I really liked the looks of these shoes and the fit was marginally bigger than my other Danskos. The deal-breaker,though, was that my orthotics didn’t mesh well with these. Paisley works better.

Okay, so it's true: these shoes have an "orthotic" look to them. But I plan to "cool" them up! I walk to and from work, so needed a pair of shoes that I could walk in and "beat up," then leave on at the office for the day. These fit the bill. I have worn them with autumn-thickness tights and a dress, and plan to wear them with leggings and jeans. As for size: I am a reliable US size 9. The Euro size 39 fits just fine, with some room to spare. I like the fact that I can switch out the (good-quality) Dansko insert, and put in one with more gel, that is good for my troubled feet. The boots are very solidly made, which contributes to a confident step. I think when wetter fall and winter weather moves in, I'll be glad of them too, and not feel I'm outdoors in shoes too precious for the elements. For aesthetic purposes, I'm glad of the lift that the wedge provides, without feeling tipped forward, as other reviewers mentioned. I'm happy with the purchase.

These are heavy shoes and seemed larger than a typical 38 in Dansko. They seem well made. The style was hard for me to assess since they looked so big. The laces seemed very noticeable with pants with a narrower opening and the shoe had a bit of an orthopedic look to me. I won't try a size down since I didn't like the laced style enough. I think if you wear wider leg pants, these would be worth trying.

Feel good wearing them. Good for winter weather.

Comfortable booties but I didn’t like the style on my foot. Felt they were really old lady looking and I couldn’t get past the look. Another negative for me was the laces. They were very comfortable, great arch support and nice leather, just not the ones for me. Thanks Zappos!

None of that legendary Dansko comfort is here, unfortunately. Going back to my clunky clogs.

The fit is loose and simply not as supportive as other Dansk models. Paisley is still the best for me.

I liked the style of these booties, and the length and width were just right, except for the instep. The instep above the arch was too tight to wear with my 3/4 custom orthotics and there was no way to adjust the fit so that to relieve the pressure. Too bad as I really wanted these boots to work. Not a good fit for a medium width, over-pronator with a slightly high arch.
