Okay, here's my story.... I have wide feet. Usually a 4E in New Balance. At 64 years-old, I can't tell you how many pairs of Dr. Martens I've bought hoping they would break in enough to stop pinching my toes. I've given them all away or taken them to thrift stores with tears in my eyes and an empty wallet. Until... last year when I found the Dr. Marten Rivet EXTRA WIDE Chelsea Boot. I bought one pair, fell in love, and when they went on sale, I bought another. These are my go to shoes. The other day, I came across this shoe on Zappos - the Dr. Martens Work Grader Extra Wide Internal Metguard Boot. Once again, there were those magic words EXTRA WIDE associated with a Dr. Marten boot. PLEASE NOTE: Both this boot and the Rivet boot I bought last year, were listed as a 'D' width. THEY ARE NOT!!! When Dr. Martens says Extra Wide, their boot is at least a EE, even if it says 'D'. So anyway... I ordered this boot in the brown color and it arrived two days later (THANKS ZAPPOS!). That night, I was so excited about my new boots, that I forgot to change from the "good pair" of DM Rivet boots I wear to work to "the other" pair of DM Rivet boots which are ONLY worn to my local dog park. I didn't even realize my mistake until getting ready for work the next morning and smelled the poop on the bottom of "the good pair"... UGH!!! What did I do, I immediately unboxed the brand new DM Grader boots and cut off the tags. I wore the new boots all day at work. About 2:00pm, I realized that I'd worn a brand new pair of boots all day and never even thought about them. Why... because they were so F-ing comfortable, I never even gave them a thought. I wasn't even aware of them unless I looked down. They fit like a go from Jump Street and wore like a cloud. And we're talking about a met-guard steel-toed boot!!! But warning - DO NOT BUY THESE BOOTS UNLESS YOU HAVE WIDE FEET, because they are WIDE!!! But if you do have wide feet. then don't wait for a sale and don't wait until your size is sold out. Dr. Martens makes so many pairs and when they're gone - THEY'RE GONE!!! Don't believe me... try finding a new pair of last year's Extra Wide Rivet Boot for sale. Oh...and today I bought a 2nd pair of these boots in the black color. Do yourself a favor and buy these boots for your wide feet today!

Love these Doc Martens. Fit perfectly, look good and they hold up well under rough working conditions. Heck Yeah, love these Doc Martens.

Be aware, these are a wide fit boot. Ignore the "D" width, they are more of a "EE". That's why it says EXTRA WIDE in the shoe description. Okay by me, as I usually purchase New Balance in a 4E width for roominess. These Dr Martens fit good and look good. I am pleased!
