I've only tried these on briefly. I didn't want to take them off though. They are the tall boots of my dreams. The silhouette is the best I've ever found in tall boots. They're comfortable, high quality, substantial - but not clunky. They fit true to size. There was only one problem, the "rust, full-grain" color is dark brown in person. Not like slightly different than the pic, like unrecognizable. I was devastated. (I'm a photographer, I understand color varying from device screens to real life but this is another level.) If you love rich dark brown boots I highly recommend these. 10/10. If you're looking for that lighter cognac brown that goes with everything in your closet... these are not them.

This boot runs tighter and smaller than other timberland styles, but that is often the case for this type of boot. I have narrow feet and these it but are tight. Since the leather is quality I may break them in, or may return to buy 1/2 size up to fit warmer socks. The color is closer to brown than tan, a little darker than pictured, but beautiful

I selected these boots to wear to work. I am a preschool teacher and they have been wonderful for when we are outside in the cold or if I have to walk in some snow. They are extremely comfortable and provide fantastic support. I would highly recommend getting a pair!

I have been looking for an ideal tall winter/waterproof black boots for a few years. I just received these boots this week and have worn them every day since! They are true to size, very comfortable, and warm. I want to purchase them in brown also but they are out of stock. They are not bulky around the calf and feel great for all day wear! I would highly recommend these boots!

Wow can not say enough about these boots. They are perfect. Love the color. The fit is true to size and is comfortable to wear immediately. No need to break in. The leather and craftsmanship is excellent. The shipping was so fast. I received the boots two days after ordering!

Right at first, but once broken in (in true Timberland form) they mold to your feet perfectly. Warm and very cute!

I loved these boots so much I bought them in black too. I was looking for some boots for fall, couldn't find anything I liked then I found these.

These boots are narrow. I have narrow feet and that's why I chose them, but I can't stress enough how narrow they are specifically from the toes to your arch area. I bought an 8 and 7.5 because of previous reviews, thinking I would need the extra room for bulky socks. The 8's were too big even with thick socks on. I am between a 7/7.5 so the 7.5 was perfect and left enough room for thicker socks. I bought them for a trip to the PNW and they didn't disappoint, absolutely waterproof and the height is perfect. They are not tight on my ankles or legs at all.

Nice fashion statement. You can dress them up or down, your choice.

Perfect boot for me. Beautiful rubber sole and heel (no slipping), nice elastic band on top rear. I will love and wear these for years to come. Leather is yummy.

I have a narrow foot with a high arch. My boot size is typically a 9, and that's what I went with in this boot. They fit perfectly. Room for thick socks but not too big either. My calves are 15" around with skinny jeans on - no issues with calf circumference, they're very comfy. I purchased the black. The leather feels like quality stuff, although for the first few wears, I'll be cautious about what I pair them with, because I think they might stain as there seems to be some leftover dye from the tanning process still. The zipper seems to be fairly rugged so I think it'll hold up.
