This dress has enough structure to hang consistently and flatter a variety of body types and not look heavy and frumpy. You can wear it with or without leggings and will be thick enough to accommodate a base layer shirt underneath. The dress also launders easily and hangs dry without wrinkles.

I really appreciate the fabrics that Arc'teryx uses for their dresses and this one is no exception. They travel well and are refined enough for work or dinner out, but are also very comfortable. I am 5' 8" and would only wear this particular dress with leggings, but I actually really like the length with leggings. I also love the pockets. Overall, I think this is another winner from Arc'teryx.

I agree with other reviews that the fabric is unexpectedly nice and interesting— it has sort of a mesh face on the inside, and does have more structure than jersey. That said, I’m disappointed. The neck is too high and tight to be flattering. The fabric is somewhat stiff and not very stretchy. And it’s quite short overall! I am 5’7” and I could not reach for something on a top shelf without exposing my butt. Good points: The sleeves were long enough for me, even on the small. And it runs true to size and is cut well.

Disappointed by how thin the fabric is. It is partially see through. The dress also hits pretty high. It is more like a tunic than a dress.
