Excellent pants. Have used on rainier and baker as my only pants multiple times. Taking to Denali and will use for 90% of move days. Size is a bit big. Excellent durability for glissading. I love my old pants but I've lost weight for Denali so I went a size smaller. Best pants for glacier travel.

I use these pants for hiking and for backcountry skiing, under bib overalls. They're well made and sturdy and comfortable.

You get what you pay for. These pants are the best I've ever owned. Super warm, super breathable, more comfortable than sweatpants. Overall I'm happy.

Great pants! Been rocking them for the winter. Perfect for the city cold nights and even hikes. They're wind proof and warm, I pair them with a heatech under layer and I'm in heaven.

Love these pants! Wearing them right now. Very comfortable and warm. They stretch nicely with movement. Only had them a month but I really feel like they are going to hold up for a long time. I am 5'10 175lbs and the mediums fit great.

Great softshell pants for all Mountain activities. It does run longer than my other art pants, however.

These are just about perfect for cold weather activities such as hiking, or just wearing around town. Sizing appears to be accurate.

Very happy with this pants. Lightweight, easy to move and kept me dry for the whole trip in snow.

Bought these to replace an aging pair of Arcteryx heavyweight soft shells. Those hade been trusted companions for countless Ice and winter routes in New England for almost 2 decades but these are an amazing update. Better fit with layers and improved range of motion. Pockets are spot on as are the newer materials. Can't complain about the outstanding build quality of my previous pair but these seem to have improved even more. Well done.

I bought these recently and have a pair from last year that are similar. Great pants and plenty warm for most fall and winter activities. I wear a lot of Arc'teryx products and have had people compliment me on the clothing. These pants are ideal for many things and even look good at casual dress social events. I wore them for cutting wood the first time and they are comfortable and sturdy. I will be buying more of them.

Brilliant pants. Great for everything from ski touring to mountains to golf. Warm and very hard wearing. I have a pair in black, and a pair in a sort of Arc'teryx dark green. I'd buy another pair in a heartbeat, but v hard to find in Medium Tall, my size. Arc'teryx seems to sell out of Tall sizes very quickly. Please make more for us tall fellows!

I practically live in them now had them for about a month.
Comfortable and rugged.
I have a light greenish color, it's fun but harder to match.
Only negative is that the belt should be of the same type as Beta AR pants and not stretchy.

I bought these about a month ago. The micro fleece lining is very comfortable. I will mainly use them for long nights of astro photography and the occasional hike. It's still late summer / early fall here, but they seem very warm. A base layer is probably a good idea for colder winter nights. The pockets are really handy with lots of space. Only downside is the length. I'm 175 cm and bought the XL(S). Even with the shorter inseam they are quite long so will try to get them shortened.

I have worn the Gamma lineup of pants over the past few years. I own a few pair of the LT and MX. I am not a big fan of pants the most time, so when I have to wear them (during the winter months) I'm glad I have something I can rely on. Something comfortable, warm, has pockets and holds up year after year. I keep buying them, and continue to do so.

This pant is extremely versatile and one of the best examples of Arc' superior design there is. Blocks wind and deters rain, provides warmth, yet still so flexible and stretchy. Pockets are perfectly designed. Somehow despite all the protection I don't overheat when the day warms up a bit. One of my favorite pieces of outdoor gear of any kind.

I love these pants for the winter. Light and breathable enough for high output, warm enough to walk the dog in the bitter cold.
These move really well and are very comfortable.
Really like that these come in tall sizes, it's hard to get the right fit for me otherwise.

I'm a 32/med in most pants and have muscular legs, and the medium fit perfectly. It's warm and fairly breathable. Have hiked in it at 20* F, rock climbed on a blustery 40* day, x-skied in 25*, etc. Kept me perfectly comfy. If well below 20*, consider a light base layer, especially if you're standing still (belaying). If above 45* consider a pant that's less insulated as it might be too warm, but that leaves a huge sweet spot from 15-45 degrees F where it works amazingly. This pant moves very well, no restrictions. The integrated belt works well and the end tucks away. Pockets are great - deep and zippered - no chance of anything falling out. Cuff is somewhat wide, but would likely be a tight fit around alpine ski boots - fine around x-ski boots. Good piece of kit for cold adventures.

I love the fabric and fit except a little too long for me. Wonder if you can make it in 2 different lengths.

These are my go-to cold weather climbing pants. They just feel warm and happy when the world isn't. Move well, often run thick RHO under them when it's -15 or colder. A little water resistant, enough to get through an icy shower or two on an ice climb, but not super water or windproof for skiing or really wet conditions, bring a lightweight pair of Hadron full zips if it's going to be windy.

I have had these for a year now. I wore them this weekend to tackle a two summit hike. I wore one layer of light/medium weight runners under. My legs never felt cold or overheated. Even with gusts of wind hitting 60-70 mph these blocked the wind while still feeling breathable and memorable.
There were numerous times that I ended up sliding down ice or rock, sometimes on purpose sometimes not, and thepants don't even show any wear on them. They moved well, wore comfortable and held up great.I am 5'11" and weigh 195 lbs with muscler legs and this fit great. I tend to have trouble finding good fit for my build.
Wish they would have bigger supply of short lengths as they are never in stock when I look.
Only con I noticed is the internal belt slips causing pants to sag from time to time which is annoying to say the least. That is why I put 4 stars not 5.

I bought these for static or low-output cold-weather outdoor activities, but they're so comfy I use them for outdoor tasks around the house now too. The good: bottomless thigh pockets; insane wind-blocking skill; not super bulky; an integrated belt that works (!!!). The less good, but not a big deal: the pant blousers scrunch up awkwardly, so I don't really use them.
