Atom LT versatility is amazing. outer piece or mid layer. Comfortable and light, very water resistant and nicely understated look. Great gear for the subarctic weather in the north of Scotland. I got Small. 176cm 65kg. Arc'teryx colours on the website pix are not quite same in real life. In my photo, if it helps - 1. Atom LT Shimizu 2.Gamma MX in Iliad 3. Beta SL Hybrid in Cobalt Sun. 4. Atom LT in Exosphere. 5. Kyanite hoody in Utopia (a sort of bright light green). Shimizu is the bluest. Cobalt Sun is a blue with a hint of green in the mix. Iliad is much more that in between green blue place and Exosphere is a cool low saturation blue which leans towards a medium grey but is definitely a blue. Photo taken in a back porch gear store with usual yellowy house lighting.

I am a first time customer and it definitely won't be my last. I am 4'10" and 105 lb, and it is not very easy to find something fits me. I am surprised it is actually a very good fit, the cuff in the arm is a good feature and the jacket is so light. I haven't try it on outside weather yet, but I am sure with all the good review, it will be fine.

I purchased the previous version about 5 years ago... definitely my favorite all-around jacket for cooler temperatures. This jacket still looks and fits great and holds up extremely well, all while packing down light and small enough for most occasions.

I bought my first atom lt (without hood) a month ago. I have to say wish I would have bought one sooner. I'm 5 8 190 and a large fits me great. Size up if you want to layer if your my size or bigger. It's super lightweight and very comfortable. I just bought another one with a hood. I own many arcteryx jackets. My favorites in this order. 1) Venta AR 2) atom lt 3) gamma lt

Wore this jacket in the backcountry hiking and hunting. It kept me warm while moving in -12c temperatures. When stopped it fit well enough that I wore my First Lite Uncompahgre puffy over top. It wicked sweat through my First lite puffy and dried quickly.

Everyone always raves about this jacket and so do I! Here's why: Function: This is a very versatile jacket that will keep you nice and toasty (with the proper layering of course). The exterior fabric is very windproof compared to my more breathable Proton LT and the insulation does a great job of keeping the heat in. When cinched, the elastics at the bottom end of the jacket help to create a bubble of warmth and when released, you have a nice streamline look with good venting. The hood allows for good visibility, both with and without a helmet, and the side pockets are deep enough to carry a large smartphone, keys, wallet, etc. I personally run quite warm but the jacket is versatile enough to wear it as a standalone layer or I will layer my covert fleece underneath of chillier days. The exterior fabric is also treated with a layer of DWR which holds up well in light rain or snow. Fit: I own the 2019 version of this jacket but have also tried on the 2020 version. I wear a size small in the 2019 version but wear size XS in the 2020 version. With the updated sizing for 2020, I would say that this jacket fits true to size as I wear an XS in the Proton LT and am an XS in Arc'teryx shells. For reference, I'm 5'3", 120 lbs, and the fit allows for me to wear a fleece underneath but a bulkier hoodie would definitely be more snug. The fit of my 2019 version is definitely more boxier but the 2020 version is longer and more tapered, similar to the Proton LT. The jacket sits shorter in the front and longer in the back making for a very flattering fit while also allowing for a range of motion (i.e. raising your legs while climbing, etc.). The smooth elastic sleeves are the perfect length for me and are stretchy enough so that I can slide my smartwatch to the outside of the jacket. Feel: Both the inner and outer fabrics are very smooth and the stretchy fleece on the side panels (the section under the armpits) are a nice touch! The fabric of this jacket makes it very packable and compressible to store it away in your pack when you don't need it. The 2020 version of this jacket is definitely an upgrade to the boxier 2019 one and sits more nicely on the body with its streamlined fit! I have the jacket in the colour "Quantum (2019)" and I definitely recommend getting this jacket in one of their brighter colours because they make them so well! You see people wearing this jacket on the streets all the time because that's how popular this jacket is, and I'd definitely recommend picking this up as a mid-layer or standalone jacket.

I own several of these jackets because they are light weight, amazing colors and warm (even when wet). 4 years ago I took a chance on the atom lt, first opened the package and was concerned with how small the jacket was. Took it out on adventures to test its limits to see if the reviews were true and WOW what a jacket! I live in Utah and this is my go to winter jacket as it works for most cold weather. I have worn this jacket with a base layer in 15 degrees while snowshoeing and this provided the balance in warmth I needed. This jacket can handle a little bit of water but isn't waterproof. However despite that I have found that the Coreloft still keeps its warm even when wet.

I first bought a second hand atom that had seen a fair amount of use, even then I wore it everyday and got rid of it after a year because it wasn't doing the job, it was good whilst it lasted though. I recently bought the revised version and I'm very impressed in how the jacket has improved. The two little bumps on the zipper are a nice touch, the old one was too slidey. I'm also a fan of the slightly peaked and insulated hood; and the materials feel very durable and needless to say it's warm. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this over a year ago, and it just keeps impressing me. Best coat ever, whether as a winter midlayer or spring/fall out-layer. Never disappoints. For reference, 5'10, bought a large as Medium was tight in the armpit.

I owned the 1st version of this hoody and it was my my companion from fall through early spring for years. Its just the perfect everyday lightweight breathable jacket. It served me at kids sporting events, dog walks, ski trips, Heli/Cat ski trips and hiking. I even shoot Sporting Clays in it. It is truly my everyday jacket. Why do I own 4, well my two sons 18 and 15 have borrowed them and hijacked each one from me. Even my Girlfriend wore it once and had to have her own. I currently own an XL in Navy. Im 50 this year and needed to move up to XL from Large. Hoping to size down this year and steal back the large from my 15 year old.

Always, the Atom LT is the first jacket I reach for on a day to day basis. Medium fits me well, at 5'7" 170 lbs, athletic build. Good throughout the spring, summer, and fall season, but light for the interior BC winters.

I have 8 jacket from Arcteryx, and this is one that can be use in the most situation. This is my second Atom LT, I've had a earlier version before. Great mid layer jacket on really cool days, great by itself on less cool days, or even on cold ones but you'll be driving or going in and outs of building not much outside. Great for 3 seasons.

I just love this jacket! The combination of warmth, wind protection and breathability is unmatched. I've always said that if I only could have 1 jacket this is the one I would. choose. The only issue I have with the new version is the decision to make the fit looser. I believe it more useful to layer this jacket under a shell as opposed to adding laying under this one. It is already plenty warm

I absolutely love the Arcteryx brand, the quality is just incomparable! as an owner of the Fission SV, Patera parka, and multiple Atom LTs i must say that it is by far the best hoody I've ever owned. The only disappointment comes from the color choices... I happen to love the Mens color options better...I wish that Arcteryx would move more into the direction that other brands are taking when it comes to not having gender color schemes...the 24k, Squid ink, and Galactica colors are only available for men, and it just feels disappointing not to have those options just because I'm not a man. I have met other women that have the same feelings and even men who feel the same about not having the women's color choices. I hope that in that future Arcteryx moves forward with inclusion when it comes to having the same color schemes for all genders. I love this brand! and will continue supporting for years to come! I am planning to see if the xs in Mens fits the same way as the Womens S.

I love the everything about my Atom LT Hoody in 24K Black - the look, the feel, the warmth, the mobility, the light weight, the durability, the pockets (fit my Venta AR gloves one in each side pocket when I need my hands free), the elastic cuffs, the zipper and the hood design. I thought the Norvan SL Insulated Hoody would always be my favourite but the Atom LT is now king in my closet. I'm using the following layering system now: BASE=RHO LT Zip Neck MID=Delta MX Hoody OUTER=Atom LT Hoody or Norvan SL Insulated Hoody And this layer system has been fantastic down to -10C so far.

I bought this jacket 2 years ago. It is lightly rain resistant, so if caught in a drizzle you will be fine. I now use this jacket more than my fleece as it is lighter in weight, travels well.

You think I'm joking? I'm not! I bought this a year ago now, and have worn it at least once a week since - yes, even over summer (I'm from rural Alaska, we have snow capped peaks year round woo!) and I am still so so so in love with it! It is super comfortable, layers really well, the color is fab, and has done really well in both cold/cold and coldish/warmish weather. I tend to always be really warm bodied, so I was nervous about this being TOO warm, but it adjusts really well! It's slim fit, so awesome for climbing - it doesn't bunch under my harness, and it is just long enough to sit comfortable under both harness and hiking backpacks! It is my go-to layer for hiking, walking my dog, grocery shopping, driving to work, climbing on rocks (and ice, heyyoo). LOVE this thing, might buy another one. bonus - included a photo of both my parter and I wearing ours (totally talked him into getting one too!)

I believe I've purchased "almost" every color on this item. The fit is perfect, the versatility is great year round- more or less layering accordingly. I was never a hoody person, however with this piece, I'm hooked, very comfortable and it doesn't impair vision. Fits great and not tight. The top of the zipper when closed all the way up doesn't bother the skin.
