I can see why these shoes were on sale. I normally wear a size 7, but my heel hung over the back just enough for it to look like an ill fitting shoe. No half sizes. Ordered an 8. Kept the 7 until the 8's arrived so i could compare them side by side. The 8's fit just right in length, and there seemed to be no difference in width from the 7 to the 8. I put them on and out the door I went to run errands. Sadly, these shoes have very slippery foot beds and my feet slid forward while walking to a point where I had to dig my toes in to keep them on. Because of this the shoes became uncomfortable to try and keep on my feet. My foot slid out of one while walking and tripped me up (awkward public moment) These shoes are slick on the bottom too. I noticed that while on the tile kitchen floor. These shoes are cute, but more than likely they will end of the shoes i slip on to take the dog out. ugh

I lived in the original Skinkies from the 90's, and when they were re-released in 2019, it just was not the same. But the Slinky30 I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! This is the closest re-master to the original. It is slightly lighter in weight and there is no stitching in the cushioning of the foot bed, otherwise it's the same shoe as the original. Great cushion, fantastic sole, I am now living in these and I can't wait until I can save up for a 2nd pair because with these, you need at least 2 pairs!!!!

Such odd sizing… I ordered the gray in a size 8 and they fit my foot EXACTLY toe to heel. I ordered the black in a size 9 and 8 to see which ones truly fit best. Turns out the size 9 are about 1/2 cm bigger if that and they’re kind of a different shape (pictures below). They also seem like they’re made out of different materials, the stretchy part is stiffer on the black ones. Both comfy but I prefer the gray ones because I got them for a way cheaper price. I don’t think these are worth $55 unfortunately :-(

I’m a true 6, I read the reviews and decided to size up. So I ordered a size 7. Nope I am not happy with the fit. It’s barely in the sole. Just don’t like the idea of my feet barely fitting in the sandal. So I’m purchasing a size 8 and hoping that will do it for me. So you guys make sure u read the reviews and decide. But I say size up two sizes.

I just received the shoes today. They are super cute. I love them! However, what people say about the size being small is true. I am a size 6. I bought 2 pairs. Size 6 and size 7. Size 6 feels like a 5 and Size 7 feels like a 6. The length of the 5 feeling one is a little shorter than the length of my feet but I think once the fabric loosens a little bit, my feet will slide forward a bit, and it would not be too bad to wear them. I am keeping both pairs. The fabric seems pretty tight for now but not in an uncomfortable way. Overall very satisfied :) .

Heavier to walk in than the OGs but 5 stars for nostalgia

I’m a true 8 and the sole of these shoes are barely long enough. I won’t size down but if you’re between sizes you should probably size up. Very comfy. I have a low profile foot and the strap is tight enough.

These are supercute and supercomfy although let's be real, they look more like $30 shoes than $90! The wood base is actually lightweight plastic and the raffia is elastic. I can forgive that but here's my dilemma: I ordered my regular size (8) and a size up (9) and while I prefer the fit of the 8s, the color of the raffia is much prettier on the 9s (see photo for comparison). I do agree with other reviewers that the bed of the 8 is much shorter than usual, but i happen to think that works with this style of shoe. My foot also felt more secure in that size.

I agree with a past review that the foot bed was short. I am a true 8 and my toes hung slightly over the edge. Also, the shoe flopped when I walked making the classic flip flop noise. I would expect movement with this type of shoe, but on my foot the flopping seemed extreme.

These are a great throwback to the 90's. I had a pair back then; they are supper comfy and stylish. I love them!

I love, love, love these shoes. I was so excited when I found out that they brought them back. I am sad I didn't read the reviews before I purchased mine as I ordered my normal size and it is too small. Now they are out of the next size up.

Loved these, super comfortable, but I'm a definite size 8 and my heels hung off the ends (especially on one side).

Material was good,for slip ons they were comfortable to walk in with out slipping off . However it was I bit small in size. I wish I got a size 6.5 instead of a 6

There is no way that these are the same as the original Steve Madden Slinky30 sandals I wore long ago. The original sandals had a pliable, foam sole - these are heavy and clunky and look like plastic. The box and stickers say "Made in Italy" - they look like they're made in Asia. The fit is fine. Returning.

The shoe is beautiful but so so so heavy. The heel slaps against the foot, very hard to walk in. I love the style and fit just way too heavy~

Super cute but could not actually get them on my feet. While the upper is made of a stretchy fabric there is a band of non stretchy material in them that was so tight I couldn't actually work my feet into the shoe easily (not at all on the right).

I love these-the slightly cushioned footbed together with the snug but smooth and soft fabric upper are very kind to my osteoarthritic arches, heel spurs and Achilles tendinosis. It’s nice to have a good looking sandal rather than my usual Reef slide. For decades I wore beautiful shoes and sandals, now I just look for comfort. If I get cute/decent looking sandals that are also comfortable, jackpot. But Steve Madden peeps-stop sewing your name in the heel area. It can hurt and it traps dirt. Just stop. Do a stamp in the arch or a carving under the arch where a foot doesn’t touch.

I absolutely love these! The prefect throwback to the 90's but really so timeless. I'm usually a 6.5 so the 7 works great. I also have slightly wide feet so the slinky strap makes these sandals the most comfortable I've ever worn. Plus, I'm 5'2" so the platform sole lets me have the extra height when I want it without the stilettos.

This is my third pair of shoes and a different color of the same style. Very comfortable.

Super cute and comfortable! These look even better in person. The top strap is flexible and doesn’t hurt my toes.

If you wear a half size, go up to the next whole size!

I have narrow feet, so they fit me perfectly, if someone has a wider foot, they might be tight, maybe size up. My only dissatisfaction was the sandals were poorly packaged and had some scuff marks on the size as if they had been worn, paying that much for a pair of sandals, you expect better than the shoes lying in the box without any packing, no inserts and a crumpled up piece of tissue paper in the shoe box but not around the sandals themselves
