THe shoe does not run large or small, very true to size. They wash up well. The company puts this sticker inside, right on the shoe pad, so strange. It’s ugly so you go to take it off, now the shoe pad has a stickiness to it that sticks to your socks and when you take the shoes off the pad comes out of the show because it is sticking to your sock. So, if you get these shoes, just leave the ugly white sticker on. This is my only complaint.

Perfect sneakers. I wear them on all my exercise-walking excursions. No sign of deterioration on the sole despite wearing them basically daily for the past 2 years.

These advertise a wide toe box or bump toe, but you probably need to size up half a size. I am returning mine.

hi. love the nuetral colors and tread is excellent. bought an 8 and 8.5; normally wear either... hiking i find that need the smaller size. the 8's seem to be too snug with socks and the middle tongue wont meet the sides if you one was around water, rain, etc. so the smaller pair is going back. now i have to decide on the next size. the 8's around the ankle felt super low which makes me question the actualy stability in the rockies... so i will be comparing that in the 8.5 as soon as possible.

I like this Dinner Trail shoe because the insert is removable (not on their tennis shoes) and you can replace it with your own orthotic. Quality, comfort shoe, supportive yet light weight. PERFECT for my upcoming walk on the Camino de Santiago. Thanks Zappos!

This popular trail shoe is just as I expected. Perfect. Danner consistency is excellent. I still wear the Atlantic Blue 2650; but this new Prairie Sand/Gray might be the ultimate color choice for real life. I'm no fashion plate; but I'm a woman who likes to not look too grungy! I really shopped around and I'm happy Zappos had just what I wanted.

I wear a women size 7.5 Euro 38 in my 'regular' sneakers and sandals. I wear a size 8 in the Danner Trail 2650 (non GTX / non waterproof version). I wanted the 2650 in the waterproof version for an upcoming trip. I have a very 'average' foot. The 2650 GTX feel very stiff and narrow, possibly due to the addition of the waterproof lining. Sadly they are not made in a size wide. You may do well if you have a narrower / low volume foot. They are a great light hiker that does well transitioning to more urban uses when traveling.

It took three tries to find the right waterproof light hiker, and this is it! I have a narrow heel and high arches. These slide just a tiny bit in the heel, but there’s no rubbing at all. They are also soft enough that they don’t rub my ankle bone like some low hikers are prone to do. The arch support is excellent, and I can hike rough, hilly terrain without any of the over-pronation that I experience with some boots. The fit is true to size and while they are a little snug to get on, they’re super comfortable once they’re tied. They manage to feel soft and springy at the same time. I ended up with the tangerine and red, which at the time of my purchase and this review is mislabeled as “sand/gray 1.” I took a chance because the price was right and the other color was out of stock in my size. The photo shows the correct shoe, and, while it isn’t a color I would typically pick, I like it way more than I thought I would! It isn’t as obnoxious as I thought an orange shoe would be and looks lighter in the sunshine. They actually look surprising sharp with both grey/black and brown/khaki hiking pants. Who knew?!

Order one size up for a perfect fit. Also, while Zappos labels this color prairie sand gray, other stores call it tangerine red - this more accurately describes its color.

I suffer from bad Plantar Fasciitis and have been on the hunt for shoes I can wear all day long while on my feet. I was also hoping for waterproof features as I'm also around water & hoses at my work. Of all the shoes I tried, these ultimately were the winner. They are very lightweight, which is surprising as they don't look like they would be. I love the hybrid trail/construction boot look and the suede is actually Goretex which is awesome. I switched out the insole that came with them for high cushion insole and thought this would do the trick. While they started out great at the beginning of the day, the heel ultimately was not as flexible as I thought and by the end of the day, my plantars was so bad I could barely walk. However, for a normal foot, I think these are great shoes. I would highly recommend them.

These are tough to fit if you have a high arch, and I tried in my size and one size up. I am returning.

I wanted to love these. They were just what I wanted! But they were really tight. I ordered a 7 (my usual shoe size) and a 7 1/2 as I wear a larger size in running shoes and wanted to compare. Both were very tight. Darn it!

This shoe not only looks good, it is so comfy you forget you have hiking shoes on! Love these!

Really great quality shoe, good materials and workmanship. Too snug so I needed half size up but then it fits nicely. The bold color is beyond eye-catching!

Amazing hiking boots. Super comfortable. I came home after doing trails and never felt the need to take my shoes off. Now I use them for all my walking activities. And they are super cute too. Love them.

These are stylish and cute, but run very very narrow. Sadly they are going back.
