This jacket has been great for layering; outer shell keeps me dry when the snow is super wet and/or it is raining. Wind protection has been great as well. Inner layer also quite warm; don't need it with 30s temps and I'm wearing a vest. Holds up well to teens and 20s temps on its own too (haven't had it in cooler temps yet). Would be great if the hood cinched down better when out and about, e.g. not while wearing a helmet.

Lightweight but perfectly warm. Only needed a base layer beneath. Very moveable and great for the slopes! Gorgeous color.

This Northface Thermoball jacket is worth every penny. If you're on fence, do yourself a favor and buy the jacket. Sure, it's not the cheapest snow jacket out there, but as my fad used to say, "I can't afford to buy cheap jackets", which meant you can't skimp on quality. It is well designed, both in form and function, the material is too notch, and the color is spectacular. Fit is ovetall standard fit, doesn't run small nor big, so if you want to layer, go up one size. I personally like to wear a thin thermal under my ski jacket so I didn't size down.

Very beautiful jacket. It is more like an vintage okker yellow color, which I like very much. Thin, lightweight, yet surprisingly warm.

This is a great jacket. I bought it for our ski trip in Park City and it was absolutely perfect. The weight of it is great, not too heavy or bulky, but plenty warm. I like that you can remove the inner lining. Overall, a great purchase and highly recommend if you need a warm winter jacket.

Absolutely in LOVE with this jacket. For the past 3 years, I've purchased this jacket (all in different colors). On cold days, I wear both layers...and on warmer days, I just wear the inner layer only. My favorite is all the pockets. Keeps me plenty warm on the mountains. Highly recommend.

Love it. Lightweight but warm and moveable. Finally found myself an "active" winter jacket. I am always feeezing and this one kept me comfortable when it was in the teens outside (with single digit wind chills).

Comfortable and wind resistant. Love the face cover that can be used or not depending on how far you zip the jacket.

Haven't used it yet but plan to wear it when we go skiing this month. Love the color. Medium size is perfect for layering underneath. Like the pocket placement.

The perfect jacket for snow activities! It's not too bulky which I love and it has the zip out lining so I can remove it if I get too warm. I also love the little added cloth in the sleeve to wipe my glasses/goggles when needed. North Face really thought of everything with this one!

I love this coat! It fits true to size and is extremely warm. I wore it skiing in -5 degree weather and was warmer than a cup of coco on a cold winters day. If you're looking for a great coat, this is it folks!

I love my new ThermoBall jacket. It is light but warm enough for temps at 12 degrees. I also love that you can take the lining out and have two different coats. The top is waterproof and the inside is quilted. Two coats for the price of one.

Perfect for skiing and casual mountain activities!

Great skiing jacket - kept me warm and dry throughout my whole trip. I removed the outside shell after skiing and the inside jacket was perfect for the mountain climate.

Love my Jacket, keeps me warm and I really like the fleece lining in the front pockets. My only issue is the sizing fits a little snug.

I used this jacket for a skiing trip, and it help up wonderfully! I was super warm. The jacket had so many extra pockets which were great for storing items!

I bought this jacket for my wife this last Christmas. She had a different brand 2-piece jacket for many years, but was clearly in need of replacement. I've had the men's version of the jacket for two years and I've been very pleased. I'll admit I'm a little jealous of the upgrade her jacket has with the eyeglass cloth concealed in the left sleeve. She's been very happy with this jacket, and expresses as much each time she wears it. It's so versatile for different temps and weather, which is why our North Face jackets are our favorites.

Love this jacket for so many reasons! Love that it has two jackets. The inner jacket is light but warm and the outer jacket is very warm and heavy! I love it! Plus the color is perfect!

I love this jacket! It has kept me warm for skiing and the 2 jackets are perfect for taking walks in various temperatures.

Jacket is really warm, even in cold Minnesota winter weather! The hood is big so it takes some adjusting for it to not fall over your face but otherwise it's great. Lots of pockets and fits well, even over multiple layers.
